Flowcore Water at a glance

Customers frequently highlight the company's punctuality, clear communication, and the technical knowledge of its staff during well pump replacements, pressure tank repairs, and water quality testing. The owner responds to the majority of reviews, and many clients appreciate the professional demeanor and thorough explanations provided during service. However, several low-star reviews criticize the pricing structure, specifically citing high labor rates, unexpected holiday surcharges, and the cost of diagnostic visits as excessive for the work performed.

Ayden was great- knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. What was disappointing was the cost for a simple water test. 250.00. When I called today to ask for a retest, I was informed I would have to pay another $250, so I will look elsewhere.

I believe they're overpriced. I was charged $600 for them to come fix a leak at an elbow joint of a pipe going to my water softener that they installed less than a year ago. They were here an hour and charged $560 for labor, which is their standard price for what they called a two man job.

Had a water pressure issue for almost a year. Had plumbers in and out including another well service. Everyone sort of gave us the run around and had us spend money on ancillary issues rather than the main problem. Had another well service say everything looked fine even when my 2nd floor had no water at all. Finally called Flowcore and they came out same day. Realized another plumber didn't have the new water softner programmed quite right and fixed it on the spot just to get us livable again. Then they scheduled us within a week to get the rest of the softner lines fixed that were installed wrong. And under a week from there, a whole new well system. They even sent out their licensed master plumber and well tech to inspect that everything was handled correctly and the issue was resolved. I don't think I've ever had as strong water pressure as I do now since moving in 16 years ago. Flowcore is definitely the way to go. Seemed market rate for plumbers and offered us different levels of fixes based on what we could spend. All the plumbers had a care and pride to their work that I can appreciate from a trades perspective. True craftsmanship and respect of the work. We're greatly appreciative of how they assisted us.

I paid $300 for a diagnostic service call from FlowCore over Labor Day, and unfortunately I came away feeling like I received very little value for what I paid. I originally scheduled the appointment for Labor Day Monday. Once I found out the service call was significantly more expensive because of the holiday, I called and asked to move it to Tuesday instead. I was told they were fully booked until Thursday. I have two occupied homes on this well, including a family with children, and they were without water, so waiting several more days wasn't a realistic option. I kept the Monday appointment and paid the $300 holiday rate. The actual diagnostic visit was disappointing. My brother was at the property and ended up helping the technician figure out how to test the electrical power to the well system. After the visit, the conclusion was essentially that the pump needed to be pulled before they could determine what was wrong. What happened next really bothered me. After being told they couldn't get back out until Thursday when I was trying to avoid the holiday charge, once the conversation turned to substantially more expensive work, suddenly they had availability first thing Tuesday. And the proposed work was not inexpensive. Their revised written estimates quoted $2,100 for Stage 1 just to pull the pump and take it for testing. Depending on whether the motor qualified for warranty coverage, Stage 2 was then quoted at either $5,571.80 or $8,015.74. They also provided a full replacement option of $11,915.74, with a potential refund if the motor was ultimately covered under warranty. Their estimates also stated that time and materials beyond a standard installation could result in additional costs. I understand that this is a deep well and that pulling a submersible pump can be expensive. I don't expect skilled well work to be cheap, and I have no problem paying professionals appropriately. What I do expect is to feel like a $300 diagnostic visit actually provided meaningful diagnosis and expertise before I'm asked to authorize thousands of dollars in additional work. I ultimately chose another well company and had a very different experience. They spent considerable time working through a complicated problem, explained what they were finding along the way, and ultimately got the system working. My issue isn't that FlowCore couldn't diagnose a deep-well problem without pulling the pump. Sometimes that's necessary. It's the overall experience: paying a premium holiday diagnostic charge after being told Tuesday wasn't available, receiving very little useful information from that visit, and then suddenly having Tuesday availability once thousands of dollars of additional work was on the table. Based on my experience, I would not use FlowCore again.

Mike, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we’ve reviewed the full history on your job. With two homes depending on this well, you needed clear answers during that visit, and we fell short on explaining what our technician found and why the next step was pulling the pump. Your feedback helped us see that gap in our communication, and we now walk customers through what was tested, what could not be tested and why before a technician leaves, and our technicians confirm availability with the office before giving a date. We also acknowledge the scheduling confusion around Tuesday on our end, and we’re sorry for that. We’re glad to hear your water is back on, and we wish you the best going forward.

This is my second time using (Priceless), now Flowcore. I am VERY pleased with the speed, courtesy and professionalism. Jonathan and Jared came to my home this afternoon and fixed my issue within an hour. Jonathan was very thorough, he explained that he probably knew what the issue was, but also insisted on checking everything. Well, he was right initially, but it gave me great comfort that he was so thorough. Speed, Thoughtfulness and a Job Well Done!
