I love my new cut! My stylist Tommie gave me great feedback and listened to the ideas I had for my cut. I’m really happy with my new hairstyle. I wish I’d come in sooner.

Great experience! Kim, the stylist, recommended by a friend who has been a client of his for 30 years. Took the time to find the right color for a root touchup and taught me how to blow dry my hair for styling following the shampoo and hair cut.
Always a lovely greeting and such a sweet staff. Everyone comes out looking and feeling like a million bucks!
Everyone is so friendly and personable. I personally have had my haircut by Tommie and recently Alicia. Both do amazing jobs! My 13 year old recently had his hair cut by Kit. He liked the cut and Kit's personality. He very much enjoyed his first salon/ spa experience with Focus!

Kit is an amazing hairdresser. She has serious skills at understanding what I am looking for and meeting me there. I always feel taken care of by her. All that on top of being an extraordinary soul and an amazing listener.
I enjoyed the people, the atmosphere and the vibe at Focus and on top of all that, got a good haircut from Tommy.
My stylist was so nice and super helpful. It was my first time booking at a queer friendly place and I was hesitant till I walked in. Everybody was super friendly and nice. My preferred pronouns were used and I had a great time overall. Definitely recommend especially if you are queer :)

Very queer-friendly, I was able to openly talk about transition and how styling my hair plays into that. My stylist Kit talked me through everything she was doing and why, and how I could maintain hair at home. 10/10

Focus salon is a fun a welcoming salon. I've been with the same hair stylist for over 30 years. Kim is the best. However he has a very good crew! They listen and give you what you want.
Moved to Louisville, a year ago and found Focus Salon after trying 2 other places. My previous Hairapist treated me for 14 years! I found my place, ask for Topher!

Kit is amazing! I have a hard time explaining what I want and she nails it everytime. Just got my hair cut and i’ve been sitting in the floor playing with it for almost an hour. 500/10 highly recommend. She also took the time to explain how to do my hair which I so appreciate because i’m inept.
I had a facial and hair appt in the past few days and it was great! Abbey the aesthetician is funny, helpful, and you need to schedule with her for a facial- so relaxing! My skin was glowing! I absolutely love everyone at Focus Salon! Wonderful, caring team who love what they do!

Update: I went back for my coloring and Kit once again did amazing! I went full blonde and she did everything she could to make sure my hair would turn out exactly the way I wanted it. It is always a good sign when the stylist checks in often, gets second opinions to make sure timing is perfect, and then praise me…
