June 21, 2025 A genuine immersion into a forest farm. Beautiful site actively managed sustainable agriculture and working on the future possibilities. I loved my evening tour and gently rolled out meal of amazing gourmet wild and cultivated perennial veggies, local eggs and goat cheese dishes.

I attended a Food Forest Feast at Forested which I believe they hold 2x per year. It was an amazing experience. All of the courses for the beautiful outdoor dinner under the lights with a lovely musician were prepared with foods from the Forested farm. What a special night that was. They also teach courses there…

Review from Google · view on GoogleI attended a free Forested tour a few months ago and it was so amazing to see a grassroots organization take such care in wanting to create a healthy local forest to support native wildlife and to produce food from native plants - we need more of this return to taking care of the land. Lincoln and his team have spent years cultivating the soil back to life, which is so important to the growth of all plants on the land. Forested offers free tours and every Friday from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm there are volunteer opportunities. I also attended the Fall Forest Feast, which featured local forest-to-table foods served outdoors in an edible forest garden. So much thought and care went into prepare the multi-course meal, and it was so delicious! I loved each dish, especially the spicy lions mane crab cakes, acorn crostini (acorns were ground to make the bread used for the crositini!), and paw paw bread! I can't recommend this place enough. For anyone interested in learning more about local regenerative forest farming, this is it.

The food was amazingly delicious (I want the recipes), the music perfect and the company unique - people from all walks of life who want to know more about sustainable agriculture and food production. Thanks all for a wonderful evening.... the full moon did not hurt.
