I'm sure they're very knowledgeable about what they do but being standoffish and unhelpful when someone has a complex issue isn't right. I had a very specific problem that needed solutions and after educating my self and talking to a real tax professional I got that sorted out. The man at the counter basically brought up issues with my problem but didn't offer viable solutions and honestly made me feel like he didn't want to file my taxes. Turns out if he'd taken a look at my tax sheet which I did pull out he would have seen that it's a 1095A and wouldn't have been able to assist me (had he wanted to) I left, irritated and annoyed i needed someone attentive and helpful and all I got was smug and patronizing. I'm sure they're great at filing the regular run of the mill things but for specific or complex problems probably best to go to a professional.

Danny is so kind, so helpful, and always helps us to fully understand the tax process. This year he even went above and beyond by helping our son learn more about filing his taxes. He even made sure to warn him about scams to be aware of and how the IRS will not ever call or email him requesting his personal information regarding his taxes, and we appreciate that.
