Had a CD drop into my computer. Called took it in and within 2 hours it was fixed. Thanks for the quick turn around! Recommend for sure!
Cannot recommend this shop enough. Small, locally owned, very communicative & transparent. They will diagnose and price out anything for free (unheard of these days!). They were also kind and easy to get along with throughout the process, five stars feels like somehow not enough

First time customer. I brought in my computer which I need for work at home. It was fixed the same day and very reasonable price. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
To begin, Gear Box DOES NOT CHARGE FOR DIAGNOSIS (That alone deserves a 5 star review). But it gets better! They then completely repaired my water (orange juice) damaged HP laptop AND THEN went the extra mile repairing my FAN AND KEYBOARD. BUT IT SOMEHOW GETS EVEN BETTER. My PS5 got messed up during like some severe thunderstorms a few weeks ago and it fried quite a few different electronics in our apartment. We googled repair shops and this amazing place came up. The staff is so friendly and attentive and I would recommend anyone to go there! Their service is fast and can’t be beat!!

Gear Box was amazing. We had a faulty hdmi port on our ps5 and I called them, took it in, and had my playstation back and working perfectly all in the same day. Very friendly, extremely fair pricing (shopped around and they were unmatched), and they go the extra mile on their work even cleaning the interior while they had it open. Will definitely be using them for any future tech issues.
Went in to upgrade a Mac Mini. Came out having performed emergency surgery on it myself, minus the medical license or steady hands 🖐️💥. Turns out "gentle disassembly" is not actually one of my core competencies. Who knew. Called Gearbox Computer in a mild panic, snapped a few crime-scene photos of the broken connectors, and sent them to Paul like I was submitting evidence 📸🔍. He looked at the wreckage, didn't laugh (out loud, at least), and quoted me a genuinely reasonable price for micro-soldering it back to life ⚡🔧. Communication the whole way through was borderline suspiciously good. Updates, no ghosting, no "we'll call you back" black hole. Just clear answers and a guy who clearly enjoys fixing what guys like me break 🛠️😅. I could've gone the big corporate repair route, but I like giving my money to the local wizard who actually picks up the phone 🧙♂️📞. Best decision I made in this whole saga, and I made several bad ones before it. Paul and team, thank you for saving my Mac Mini and my dignity (partially) 🙏💻. I'll be back, because I am, if nothing else, extremely consistent at breaking things 😂🔩.
A-1 service. No charge for diagnosing my Dell all in one over 10 year old computer. Hopeless case to repair. They had a Dell just like mine, windows 11, bigger monitor, more RAM, transferred all my data from old PC to new for 420.00 bucks. I couldn't be more pleased. No longer have to watch that little circle going round & round & round. I never could have afforded a new computer & so glad I found a honest, fair company to deal with. Thank you guys.
Took my wife’s Kindle in to have the charging port repaired. It’s fixed and works perfectly. Repair was done fast and very reasonable on the price. Highly recommend!
