Gentle Giant Moving Company

Moved from one storage facility to another out-of-state.

From George explaining the service at the beginning to Franz doing the walk through estimate everything was very professional and informative. Once the move was scheduled and Lucas, Kevin and Antonio arrived to begin the actual physical move we felt we were in good hands. The guys were patient and meticulous. The… Read full review

Thank you Gentle Giant for a seamless cross country move! Vlad, Mark, Tomas, and Rocky packed all of our belongings with perfect care, and Vlad and Mark were true heroes driving and then unpacking a huge truck and patiently putting everything exactly where it needed to go. We cannot say enough good things about… Read full review

Vlad and Darius were awesome! They were so fast and the communication was top notch. They gave us an ETA and updated as needed and arrived right on time. We had 3 different stops and they were fast and efficient at each one. Everything made it in one piece (MA to NC). No complaints.

Jim and his crew were amazing. They were so pleasant, efficient and thoughtful. Jim’s organizational skills and his attention to detail is remarkable ! A+! Thank you!

Have used them more than once. Always fast, very competent and friendly. Best movers in Boston hands down.

Gentle Giant is a wonderful company. Very professional, prompt, and caring. We have used Gentle Giant for a number of moves and have recommended to family and friends. I would not consider another moving company based on the quality of the employees and service!

We had an amazing experience with Gentle Giant. Wilbis and his crew were exceptional! Highly recommend using them for local and long distance moves!!

Moving is stressful but working with Gentle Giant made the process smoother. From the initial inquiry with the sales office to obtain a quote, to the move coordinator who answered all of my questions and kept me in the loop regarding the timeline, to the moving crew who showed up on time, clean, friendly and ready… Read full review

What a Professional Staff you have at Gentle Giant. Truly attentive, polite, capable and responsive. From the start of my experience with your company your people have been so amazing. As a Navy Spouse who had 17 moves in 20 years, I can say this non-Navy move was the best and most professional I've ever… Read full review

Great employee's and they did a great job!

I have used Gentle Giant on more than one occasion in moves within Boston and to another state. I have also used other Boston movers for in-city moves. Hands down, Gentle Giant is the most professional outfit around, with moving teams who know what they are doing, and, better yet, care about it. Their moving… Read full review

Very well-run company. The local scheduler was always responsive and helpful. On the days they were scheduled for packing, for loading the truck, and for unloading the truck, they arrived on time and were extremely efficient. The crews were friendly and accommodating and seemed to enjoy their work. Their cost… Read full review

Excellent communication from office rep and movers. Attention to details and checking I with me regularly. This was our 4th move with Gentle Giant in MA and the first interstate with Amazing Moves connecting in DEN

On a hot summer day, Alin’s team worked so hard for our moving from MA to CT. It took three days. Alin led the team so well that everything was smooth. His motto is “Everything is possible.” Yes, he made everything possible! Our move involved lots of stairs and heavy book boxes. But no complaints from the team. Ian… Read full review

Gentle Giant did such a wonderful job with my recent move! The coordinator was responsive and helpful, and both the move-out and move-in crews were so efficient, polite, and careful with my belongings. I cannot say enough nice things about the moving crew!! I would absolutely recommend Gentle Giant.

Absolutely super guys, everything was perfect! Such a contrast to other movers we’ve used…will stick with these guys from now on!

Fanntastic experience with packers and movers from start to finish from our one bedroom apartment. They were very efficient and gentle with our belongings.

Interstate move from Massachusetts to Illinois was very smooth. Team was professional and efficient.

Gentle Giant handled my long distance move with care and efficiency. Three different crews - packing, loading and delivery were outstanding in their work. Professional, personable and hard-working. I would recommend Gentle Giant to anyone who wants a worry-free experience.

This is my 4th time using Gentle Giant, and each time I have had a stellar experience. From start to finish, they made what could have been a stressful move feel completely seamless, smooth, and easy. They were incredibly professional, efficient, and handled everything with great care. We could not have been more pleased with our moving experience provided by Gentle Giant. The team were so courteous and professional. They were clearly well trained and worked hard with smiles and positive attitudes. Really helped make our move less stressful.

Fast, safety and professional.

The movers did a fantastic job from start to finish. The were professional, prompt and very attentive to where each item should be placed. They communicated well during transit too.

Gentle Giant was absolutely great with my cross-country move! The office staff was incredibly communicative and checked in multiple times before the moving date to make sure I had everything I needed. The movers were also incredibly kind and courteous. Our moving crew was polite, courteous, on time, thoughtful, and very easy to work with. Alin seemed to be in charge of both crews. They worked quickly and I was amazed. To be honest, this was our first time using professional movers and I'm so happy we chose Gentle Giant. We even came in under the high end of our estimate which I appreciated.

*****Five stars, without hesitation.***** I told this company upfront that I was a divorced empty nester moving alone for the first time in my life — no kids, no partner, just me — and that I needed to be treated with kid gloves. They took that seriously from day one and never let up. For context: I’ve moved every… Read full review

The Gentle Giant team, once again, did a fantastic job for us during our recent move. Alin and his colleagues were very careful in packing, handling, and moving our furniture. They went above and beyond the call of duty at every step. We highly recommend the Gentle Giant company to anyone who needs a moving company.

7 years ago, when we moved ourselves into our Cambridge apartment, it was so exhausting that I said to my wife, "when you move out, you're going to need to find a new, young husband to help, because I'm not doing it." A few months ago, as we got close to selling our place, I said, "Are you making any progress on… Read full review

Gentle Giant did it again! Recently helped move our 80+ year old in laws (they have moved my 90 yo mom 4 times as well) from MA to New Jersey. They are compassionate professionals who helped ease a challenging and stressful down size. They packed in 4 hours one day, moved out in 3.5 the next, delivered to new… Read full review

Larry, Your Team just left. Nick, Rocco and Ethan did a terrific job. Besides being incredibly careful and thorough with our belongings, they are genuinely nice people. As always I appreciate the Gentle Giant touch!! Thank you.

The GG team organized packing in Chicago, storage, and timely delivery in NH. Delivery team (Ellis, Rocco, Ethan, Avery) was very helpful in setting up and cleaning before leaving. (I used them 8 years ago too. Highly recommend).

Great experience with GGMC, particularly the team led by Erik, Lucas and the very capable movers who assisted with our recent move. Simply a great company with movers who know what they're doing. Leave it to them. You will not regret it.

I just moved from Virginia to Massachusetts. I had two excellent crews who were efficient, friendly, and professional. Working with the coordinator was a great experience and made a stressful interstate move much easier. The next time I move will be likely within the city I’m in now, but I will absolutely use this company again!

Right from the beginning, the service was friendly, patient, and thorough. The schedulers worked hard to get an accurate picture of the move so that an interstate move could be accomplished in one day, The people who moved my furniture showed respect for all of the things I moved and were easy to work with and worked hard. Thank you Gentle Giant

Very professional, helpful and responsive. Thanks 😊 Have a great day.

Superb experience. The crew did an amazing job. The move was meticulously planned and the team was very friendly and courteous. The job was difficult but they accounted for every detail, and the outcome was outstanding. I am very grateful to ‘Gentle Giants’. We used gentle giant for our move from Massachusetts to Florida. I had been looking at several options such as a pod, other movers and renting a truck and making the move myself. Our movers Ryan and Jaylan were fantastic. They communicated with us throughout the process. Packed up the furniture and clothing with care. They unloaded the truck to ensure the furniture was placed where we needed it to be. Moved with speed and efficiency from start to finish. All with a smile and friendly demeanor.

Amazing team - move was seamless!
