Gentle Giant Moving Company

As usual, Gentle Giant is the best moving and storage company hands down. We would not use any other vendor. Full stop.

Great with moving our sacred items from one church to another!

Adam and his team were incredible. They were on time, organized, friendly, super helpful, and all around a true pleasure to work with. Gentle Giant is simply the best. We used Gentle Giant to move into our house 28 years ago and went right back to them when we sold it. Yet another problem-free move with Gentle Giants! They always take care with my belongings and their movers are uniformly friendly and professional. I recommend them to all my friends.

Gentle Giant was fantastic and very efficient! Erikas and Gražvydas (our movers) were also super friendly and helpful and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Highly professional and friendly move of a double oven to a 2nd floor apartment & the removal of the old one down from the 2nd floor, both with the lift. Never disappointed by the talented men of Gentle Giant!

Excellent service. Office move in Boston. Service from start to finish was professional, polite, and respectful. Movers were very careful with monitors and other delicate items. Highly recommend - go to movers from now on

Gentle Giant Movers proved to me “you get what you pay for”. Simply the best experience I’ve had in moving perhaps 10-12 times the past 30 years. We (GS Builders Inc) hired gentle giants to hoist a 9’ countertop into the 2nd floor from Street level. Every interaction went smooth, from the initial phone call to the hoisting was a breeze, fair price, and great firm to work with. I have to especially mention their crane operator, he came, set up and within 20… Read full review

Erikas and his helpers Edvinas and Alex provided a stress free move. They listened carefully and checked frequently throughout the move. Super ambassadors for Gentle Giant.

The team of three young gentlemen was most impressive from start to finish! They were polite & personable, taking genuine interest in my setup. Every task was cheerfully done with excellence, and I couldn’t be more pleased. This is the third time that Gentle Giant has done a move for me, and I highly recommend this exemplary company!

Alin at Gentle Giant did a fabulous job leading my local move. Some of the items were fragile and multiple held sentimental value. The goods were all handled carefully, packed well, and re-placed in my city home (narrow doorways and stairs) with no issue. Absolutely worth the price for their work.

The Gentle Giant Team did an outstanding job moving me. There were four people: Alex, Vadym, Dan and Ricardo’s. And they work as a team and helped me quickly make decisions to make the move go smoothly.

I recently used Gentle Giant Moving Company and they were responsive and transparent about everything associated with the move (pricing and scheduling). Very efficient, friendly, and professional. This is my third time with Gentle Giant and it would hire them again.

Adrian and his team are the best I've ever had for a move. We had several large pieces that had to be disassembled and then taken through extremely tight spots. There was zero damage due to their attention to detail and care. The also moved several large works of art flawlessly. I can only give them the highest recommendation.

Gentle Giant was awesome to deal with from start to finish. I needed to keep rescheduling the booking date due to complicated issues on my end. Again The GG does not disappoint in fact they “exceed expectations” and are a cut above the rest. not only do they pack move and unload professionally, but they are polite, proactive, thorough and work extremely hard. Fantastic experience start to finish. Real people answer your call or get back to you quickly. Friendly, easy to work with, fair prices, reliable and professional start to finish

John and the whole crew were amazing, they shaved off a day and still came in under the estimate. Packing, moving, and unpacking services were great. We have been in our place for 2 days and are almost finished!

Highest level professionalism, efficient and hard working, always willing to do extra and accommodate our needs as they arise

Super easy to work with, moved inside the Boston area and were in and out super quick. 10/10 would reccomend.

Gentle Giant made my move so easy!!! As a first time user of professional movers, they answered all my questions and communicated very well prior to my move. I have used Gentle Giant for two moves. One was from NYC to Boston, the other was a local move in Boston. Both were great, they showed up on time, and worked very quickly to get the jobs done. I would absolutely use them again. And thanks to our crew Tom, Jon and Josh who got our local move done in the rain without complaint!

The movers were fast and careful with my things, and very professional. Pre-move: Professional, organized, efficient, good communication; I was kept well-informed. Move: Professional, careful, considerate, efficient, methodical, fast. On-time, in fact the crew arrived early.

They were super efficient, treated my stuff with care, friendly from quote to move, and made the whole process so easy. A little pricey but the peace of mind was more than worth it

Had a great move with Gentle Giant for our pre-packed items and furniture— they were communicative leading up to the move, and during it. I highly recommend using them if you're looking to move around the Boston area!

Gentle Giant was super professional and accommodating, their communication was amazing and my movers went above and beyond to help me in a tough move, navigating the tiny stairwells of Boston. My couch didn’t fit and they helped me move it to my mom’s house on a whim. I’ll be using them again and highly recommend them!

Scott and Matt were phenomenal. This is the 3rd time I have used Gentle Giant, and they continue to impress. Scott and Matt emptied a large storage unit with heavy garage equipment and tools in record time. They even graciously helped load a couple of large juniper trees into the back of a friend's pickup truck at… Read full review

I can’t say enough about the 5 guys that recently packed my home and delivered to my new home all in one day! And my new place is an older home which posed some challenges with my furniture. But they were clean, efficient and just truly nice people!! I would hands down use them again. They made a difficult time in my life easier and I am very grateful!!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Andrea was awesome throughout the booking process and Michael and Chris were quick, courteous, and professional movers. Just terrific. Thank you very much!

I was tasked to organize a complicated move out of an apartment building in Boston, with contents needing to be packed and delivered to 4 different locations. Great team to work with -- from the account representative to the crew who were efficient and kind.

Great communication, packed and moved with care. Very accommodating!

First time having movers and we had a great experience with Gentle Giant! We were moving our apartment worth of stuff out of a storage unit that was inconveniently far from the loading dock. Florin and Sebastian were quick, friendly, and all of our stuff showed up looking great. The entire process was easy and painless!

Had a great experience moving from Brighton to Medford with Gentle Giant! The crew was super friendly, fast, and careful with everything. The only moving company I’ll use- professional experts that help take the stress out of moving. Can’t recommend them enough!

The Gentle Giant movers arrived on time and handled my belongings with care. I would recommend Gentle Giant highly.

This is my second move with Gentle Giant. They are customer focused throughout the process and extremely responsive to any issues that arise. Our freight elevator broke down on the day of the move and they quickly rescheduled for 48 hours later. The best!

We had an outstanding experience with our moving crew and couldn’t be more impressed! The whole operation is very well organized and the office people are super helpful, and the movers themselves are super fast, very nice, and extremely competent. Would recommend them to anyone I know and will likely use them again in the future!

I had two great experiences with Gentle Giant Movers in Boston during the most recent September 1st move-in season (which is when 70% of Boston leases start, and is an infamously chaotic time). We chose Gentle Giant for moving our college student son and his friend from one apartment to another, Boston to Brighton. Ellis and Liam made my move so smooth today. I was nervous because I was moving alone on September 1st in Boston, and it could not have been smoother. Great communication, fast, professional, Solid movers. I was so impressed at how quickly and efficiently they moved my items from the 3rd floor walkup. I hope I never have to move again- but if I did I would definitely use them!

The team was highly professional, efficient and, as the company name suggests, GENTLE. We have many valuable antiques, and none were harmed in the move. I've now hired Gentle Giant for three different moves and they are unquestionably the best moving company I've ever used. I recently had to pull together a complicated move quickly over a holiday weekend. The team at Gentle Giant did an incredible job. They were organized and very careful with my items. They also worked fast which has not been my experience with other moving companies. Thanks to Mihai, Sorin, and Alex!

We had a great experience with Gentle Giant! They arrived on time, called in advance, and did the work for our local move exactly as promised. They are also very nice on the phone. Highly recommended!

Awesome experience. Highly recommend Gentle Giant.

This is my second time using Gentle Giant to move in Dc and there wet exceptional yet again -on time, efficient and fully moved in under 4 hours! Dex and Dakarai were exceptional -print, patient, and professional!!

Gentle Giant helped move our son to his first apartment by receiving multiple orders from vendors and shipments "from mom", storing it all, and then bringing everything to the apartment on the appointed move-in day. Everybody was great to work with! No question but that we will turn to Gentle Giant again in the future!

Chez, Patricio and Julian are very professional and friendly. The moving service they provided was fast and efficient. I have used Gentle Giant many times over 40 years. I don't go anywhere else when I need to move.
