Gentle Giant Moving Company

As usual, Gentle Giant is the best moving and storage company hands down. We would not use any other vendor. Full stop.

Great with moving our sacred items from one church to another!

Adam and his team were incredible. They were on time, organized, friendly, super helpful, and all around a true pleasure to work with. In addition to being efficient and genuinely eager to help, they were all really nice and a pleasure to work with. This team is why it’s worth hiring Gentle Giant - they really go… Read full review

Gentle Giant is simply the best. We used Gentle Giant to move into our house 28 years ago and went right back to them when we sold it. They are great to work with pre-move, made us feel very comfortable in prepping for moving day, and the crew were great guys, doing a great job. They are 5 stars in my book.… Read full review

We had a terrific experience with Gentle Giants! Everything from the first call and quote to help along the way to our move day: the moving crew was on time, friendly, and efficient. We highly recommend this service.

Yet another problem-free move with Gentle Giants! They always take care with my belongings and their movers are uniformly friendly and professional. I recommend them to all my friends.

Gentle Giant was fantastic and very efficient! Erikas and Gražvydas (our movers) were also super friendly and helpful and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Highly professional and friendly move of a double oven to a 2nd floor apartment & the removal of the old one down from the 2nd floor, both with the lift. Never disappointed by the talented men of Gentle Giant!

Excellent service. Office move in Boston. Service from start to finish was professional, polite, and respectful. Movers were very careful with monitors and other delicate items. Highly recommend - go to movers from now on

Gentle Giant Movers proved to me “you get what you pay for”. Simply the best experience I’ve had in moving perhaps 10-12 times the past 30 years. From the guys helping the day before the move with pre-pack and wrap to the next day of move to new place they were top notch. The company started decades ago by Larry… Read full review

The coordinator was great at giving us all of the details we needed to prepare for our move. Erikas and Edgaras arrived on time and fortunately had experience with our condo building and all of the rules we had for moving which made things easier for me. They took great care with the property and my items and were… Read full review

Great experience. Hard working friendly group of guys.

Alex, Palius and Mason did an excellent job helping my client move very delicate and special items. They were professional and very pleasant to work with.

Alex, Palius, and Mason were professional, efficient, careful and courteous. The job was done quickly and very well.

We (GS Builders Inc) hired gentle giants to hoist a 9’ countertop into the 2nd floor from Street level. Every interaction went smooth, from the initial phone call to the hoisting was a breeze, fair price, and great firm to work with. I have to especially mention their crane operator, he came, set up and within 20… Read full review

Erikas and his helpers Edvinas and Alex provided a stress free move. They listened carefully and checked frequently throughout the move. Super ambassadors for Gentle Giant.

The team of three young gentlemen was most impressive from start to finish! They were polite & personable, taking genuine interest in my setup. Every task was cheerfully done with excellence, and I couldn’t be more pleased. This is the third time that Gentle Giant has done a move for me, and I highly recommend this exemplary company!

Alin at Gentle Giant did a fabulous job leading my local move. Some of the items were fragile and multiple held sentimental value. The goods were all handled carefully, packed well, and re-placed in my city home (narrow doorways and stairs) with no issue. Absolutely worth the price for their work.

The Gentle Giant Team did an outstanding job moving me. There were four people: Alex, Vadym, Dan and Ricardo’s. And they work as a team and helped me quickly make decisions to make the move go smoothly.

I recently used Gentle Giant Moving Company and they were responsive and transparent about everything associated with the move (pricing and scheduling). The moving crew, led by Alex Reyes, was incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient. During the two day move, Alex and his crew carefully handled antiques,… Read full review

Very efficient, friendly, and professional. This is my third time with Gentle Giant and it would hire them again.

Adrian and his team are the best I've ever had for a move. We had several large pieces that had to be disassembled and then taken through extremely tight spots. There was zero damage due to their attention to detail and care. The also moved several large works of art flawlessly. I can only give them the highest recommendation.

Gentle Giant was awesome to deal with from start to finish. I needed to keep rescheduling the booking date due to complicated issues on my end. They were absolutely lovely and never made me feel that I was a pain the neck (which I was)! The movers arrived exactly on time, they were efficient, careful, and overall… Read full review

This is my third time using Gentle Giant. Each time was great. This time, I had the pleasure of working with Eddie and Lucas. They were very detailed and caring about my situation and my home. Erik, Finn, and Andrew, make Gentle Giant what it is. They went above and beyond to make my move happen. The city of Cambridge forgot to post the parking permits. They parked safely and walked the extra distance and got me in my apt. no time and under my total estimate. Hurrah and Go Gentle for your next move!

Again The GG does not disappoint in fact they “exceed expectations” and are a cut above the rest. not only do they pack move and unload professionally, but they are polite, proactive, thorough and work extremely hard. Erikas, Mantas, Shawn were exceptional. Took every direction without a blink of an eye. Asked… Read full review

Funny, efficient, knowledgeable, kind, and more!

Fantastic experience start to finish. Real people answer your call or get back to you quickly. Friendly, easy to work with, fair prices, reliable and professional start to finish

John and the whole crew were amazing, they shaved off a day and still came in under the estimate. Packing, moving, and unpacking services were great. We have been in our place for 2 days and are almost finished!

Highest level professionalism, efficient and hard working, always willing to do extra and accommodate our needs as they arise

Super easy to work with, moved inside the Boston area and were in and out super quick. 10/10 would reccomend.

Gentle Giant was amazing! They helped make sure I was out of my apartment by the deadline and made sure all my belongings were protected and got to my new place. Communication was great, very friendly, and super efficient!

Gentle Giant made my move so easy!!! As a first time user of professional movers, they answered all my questions and communicated very well prior to my move. We were moving locally and they picked up my belongings a day before move in, stored overnight, and then moved everything in my new place. They were on time… Read full review

I have used Gentle Giant for two moves. One was from NYC to Boston, the other was a local move in Boston. Both were great, they showed up on time, and worked very quickly to get the jobs done. I would absolutely use them again. And thanks to our crew Tom, Jon and Josh who got our local move done in the rain without complaint!

The movers were fast and careful with my things, and very professional. Holding my things in the truck overnight was less of a hassle than I expected, and yhe actual move cost was hundreds of dollars less than the estimate. More expensive than other highly recommended and established local moving companies, but I… Read full review

Pre-move: Professional, organized, efficient, good communication; I was kept well-informed. Move: Professional, careful, considerate, efficient, methodical, fast. On-time, in fact the crew arrived early.

They were super efficient, treated my stuff with care, friendly from quote to move, and made the whole process so easy. A little pricey but the peace of mind was more than worth it

Had a great move with Gentle Giant for our pre-packed items and furniture— they were communicative leading up to the move, and during it. I highly recommend using them if you're looking to move around the Boston area!

Gentle Giant was super professional and accommodating, their communication was amazing and my movers went above and beyond to help me in a tough move, navigating the tiny stairwells of Boston. My couch didn’t fit and they helped me move it to my mom’s house on a whim. I’ll be using them again and highly recommend them!

Moving is awful. These guys not only made it survivable, but I actually got to sit down the morning of the move and have breakfast while they finished packing up my kitchen. The team was incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient, and managed to back their truck into a very narrow Somerville driveway during… Read full review

We had Alex Reyes, Morgan Marlon and Gabriel Gelamanca as our movers from Gentle Giant and they were fantastic! Super professional, very nice and we were so thankful for their help. I would recommend this crew to anyone.

Ricardo and his team did an excellent job on a very complicated move. With 3 separate locations and several large items to be disposed of or donated, it was a long day, but the workers were awesome! I can’t recommend Gentle Giant enough. They are worth every penny.

Everyone I interacted with at Gentle Giant was knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant. I was able to speak to a real human right away to book my service, and was assigned someone like a case manager who I could call for any questions as the move date approached. The movers, Patrick and Jesse, worked quickly and… Read full review

I have used Gentle Giant on more than one occasion in moves within Boston and to another state. I have also used other Boston movers for in-city moves. Hands down, Gentle Giant is the most professional outfit around, with moving teams who know what they are doing, and, better yet, care about it. Their moving… Read full review

I’ve used Gentle Giant movers three times now for moving within Boston. The crews have been excellent. Couldn’t recommend GG more.

Two apartments moved into one over two days. They had to work with elevators in all three buildings. The team was professional, efficient and patient.

Crew was fabulous- respectful of our home and furniture and did a great job!

I genuinely don’t know how to write a review that adequately captures just how incredible our Gentle Giant team was, because saying they were “five star” doesn’t even begin to cut it. **They were absolute ALL-STARS.** We hired Gentle Giant for both packing and moving, and ours was not a straightforward move. Could not have had a better experience moving than with GG! Coordinating and scheduling with Elizabeth and Colin was great, as was our super professional and hardworking crew: Horraine, Jake, Chuck, and Cristian! Highly recommend for both packing and moving services in MA.

The guys who moved me were all great: Orion, Elijah and Clyde. They worked hard. They were friendly. They stayed on task through a long day. I was impressed. Nothing was broken.

This is the second time that I used Gentle Giant/Allston Piano for a piano move and would highly recommend them.
