Josh & his team did a super job removing some old & tired furniture for me. They kept me aware of when they were arriving, showed up on schedule & the team was super friendly. I couldn’t be more happy & satisfied! Would highly recommend!

I worked with the Gentle Hippo crew to clean out my aging parents home. They showed up with unending patience and compassion for a difficult task, and a strong work ethic to do a thorough job. I recommend them very highly for any size job. They will treat you and your home with respect.

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about Josh and Gentle Hippo. We recently moved our dad and cleaned out his house in Perrysburg but we couldn’t get everything. By the time we left, the house was totally empty but the garage and trash bins were full. Since we live out of state, we weren’t sure what to do. We were… Read full review

Josh, the owner, was great from the first phone call through the job being completed. In our opinion, he and his workers, Dylan and Keegan, were highly efficient and did more than we expected (like sweeping out the back porch/house/garage before they left--much appreciated) . We're from Illinois, so Gentle Hippo was… Read full review

Josh and his Gentle Hippo crew did amazing work for our estate. It was a big job in hot weather that we couldn’t have done without his assistance. All the stars, thank you so much!

Very respectful and efficient. Great job !! Thank you

Very quick to reply to my online request as well as to get to house to remove stuff. Same Day actually. Good communication as to when they would arrive and what they would be doing when they arrived. Crew was fast and efficient removing all items we wanted and the price was below other similar services. Will definitely be calling these guys again.

Super quick and professional!

Definitely recommend! Super fast to respond to my request and they came out and removed our junk the same day! Great pricing too, will be using their services again!

I cannot thank Josh and Dylan of Gentle Hippo enough for getting us out of the jam we were in. Customer service was a 10/10 as well as the job performed! When my girlfriend and I got the keys to move into our new home, let’s just say it didn’t look like the sellers moved at all and completely trashed the place. The… Read full review

Josh and his crew were amazing. I had a short window to get a house completely empty and Josh worked with my limited schedule to get it done. They showed up on time and had it all done in less than 2 hours. 2 floors and a basement. They were very personable and professional. HIGHLY recommend Gentle Hippo for… Read full review

When I say Gentle Hippo restored my faith in humanity, I mean it. Josh the owner responded to my inquiry so quickly and was able to fit me in the schedule. I was in a state of panic and overwhelm from independently moving me and my 3 kids to a new home and Gentle Hippo came to the rescue. Him and his team worked… Read full review

Josh and his crew arrived on time and worked with us to sort through the previously flooded basement. They separated the recyclables from the trash. I would definitely recommend Josh to do any clean-up.
