Josh and his crew are amazing. He even went out of his way to help us with an emotional decision of finding a solution for our family piano. And he was able to combine what I needed taken along with my mom. He is the best “Gentle Hippo” you will meet!

I worked with the Gentle Hippo crew to clean out my aging parents home. They showed up with unending patience and compassion for a difficult task, and a strong work ethic to do a thorough job. I recommend them very highly for any size job. They will treat you and your home with respect.

Josh, the owner, was great from the first phone call through the job being completed. In our opinion, he and his workers, Dylan and Keegan, were highly efficient and did more than we expected (like sweeping out the back porch/house/garage before they left--much appreciated) . We're from Illinois, so Gentle Hippo was… Read full review

Gentle Hippo was amazing! Josh and his teammate were able to clear out some large and bulky furniture for me quickly and carefully. I was happy to find a junk removal service that is also sustainable and eco-conscious. Thanks for helping me during this stressful but exciting move!

Josh and his team are great! Very friendly and helpful. I appreciate their quick response, scheduling and availability. They even took a couple item not originally on the list for removal. This was our second time using their services and will continue to do so.

Super quick and professional!

Josh and his team were outstanding! They were running just a little late, but he called to let me know and there was no problem. He arrived and quoted me a very reasonable price to haul away an old hot tub, grill, smoker, and some misc. junk. Once agreed, they got to work immediately and did a great job, with… Read full review

I cannot thank Josh and Dylan of Gentle Hippo enough for getting us out of the jam we were in. Customer service was a 10/10 as well as the job performed! When my girlfriend and I got the keys to move into our new home, let’s just say it didn’t look like the sellers moved at all and completely trashed the place. The… Read full review
