Exceptional service. They were very fast and organized. Made cleaning out for our move a smooth transition. Highly recommend
We recently did a bathroom demo as well as cleaned out other rooms in our house. I reached out to Gentle Hippo Junk Removal so we could have part of our garage back again. They were quick to reply and great with communication. They were able to come to us the next day and remove everything fast and efficiently and…
Josh and his crew are amazing. He even went out of his way to help us with an emotional decision of finding a solution for our family piano. And he was able to combine what I needed taken along with my mom. He is the best “Gentle Hippo” you will meet!
I worked with the Gentle Hippo crew to clean out my aging parents home. They showed up with unending patience and compassion for a difficult task, and a strong work ethic to do a thorough job. I recommend them very highly for any size job. They will treat you and your home with respect.
Josh, the owner, was great from the first phone call through the job being completed. In our opinion, he and his workers, Dylan and Keegan, were highly efficient and did more than we expected (like sweeping out the back porch/house/garage before they left--much appreciated) . We're from Illinois, so Gentle Hippo was…
This company was very friendly and professional. Only took them less than 2 hours to clean out the inside of the house and the brush from outside. I would highly recommend them. Thank you Gentle Hippo for your fast and friendly service!
Gentle Hippo was amazing! Josh and his teammate were able to clear out some large and bulky furniture for me quickly and carefully. I was happy to find a junk removal service that is also sustainable and eco-conscious. Thanks for helping me during this stressful but exciting move!
Josh and his team are great! Very friendly and helpful. I appreciate their quick response, scheduling and availability. They even took a couple item not originally on the list for removal. This was our second time using their services and will continue to do so.
Super quick and professional!
Josh and his team were outstanding! They were running just a little late, but he called to let me know and there was no problem. He arrived and quoted me a very reasonable price to haul away an old hot tub, grill, smoker, and some misc. junk. Once agreed, they got to work immediately and did a great job, with…
Gentle Hippo Junk Removal is a great service! From ease of scheduling a quote to friendly, reliable service. Josh and his team are wonderful and I highly recommend their services.
I cannot thank Josh and Dylan of Gentle Hippo enough for getting us out of the jam we were in. Customer service was a 10/10 as well as the job performed! When my girlfriend and I got the keys to move into our new home, let’s just say it didn’t look like the sellers moved at all and completely trashed the place. The…
Josh and his crew were amazing. I had a short window to get a house completely empty and Josh worked with my limited schedule to get it done. They showed up on time and had it all done in less than 2 hours. 2 floors and a basement. They were very personable and professional. HIGHLY recommend Gentle Hippo for…
When I say Gentle Hippo restored my faith in humanity, I mean it. Josh the owner responded to my inquiry so quickly and was able to fit me in the schedule. I was in a state of panic and overwhelm from independently moving me and my 3 kids to a new home and Gentle Hippo came to the rescue. Him and his team worked…
The guys that came out were great. I couldn't have been more pleased with their work. The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend Gentle Hippo in a heartbeat

Gentle Hippo to the rescue! We cannot say enough good things about Josh and his team. We were dealing with cleaning out the house of a deceased loved one. Josh was so understanding and respectful and flexible throughout the process. They helped remove some large items from the house and yard. He and his team even…
Josh and his team did an amazing job, even though this clean out was bigger than they anticipated and planned for. Highly recommend!
