Very fast and thorough, straightforward with what needs to be done and why. No nonsense, checks entire vehicle. Competitive prices. Always satisfied with the work. No issues after being fixed.
The guys at Gil’s were great to deal with and they were able to diagnose and provide services very quickly. Their estimate was very thorough and the work was accomplished in a very timely basis. They performed a thorough check of the vehicle condition while it was in for service.
Excellent service, fair pricing, highly recommended!!
Always reliable , very fair and well priced !

I could not have been happier with my experience at Gil’s. Jim knows his craft, is able to clearly explain what is wrong with the car, communicates any updates during the service, is easy to work with, is polite and efficient. He works on the cars himself with one helper so he knows exactly what is going on with a…
I’ve had my car serviced at Gil’s Auto Repair twice, and both experiences have been excellent. Bob and Joey have been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything to me step by step, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood exactly what was going on with…
Brought my daughters 2015 ford explorer in for oil change, brakes and rotors. Machanics noticed my toe links were bad which had a recall. They had ford pick up my car for the recall and return it. Had to replace both rear tires because of that but the car drives like new now. Will definitely be back to service the rest of my cars
Cordial, efficient, and flexible customer service. Old school approach and hard working. My kind of place.
Gill’s (owner is Joey) has been the highest quality automotive maintenance experience in my 48 years of driving and owning cars. When I buy “new” I take it to them. Same for my kids. I had a 2004 Lexus that was flood damaged and they rescued it wonderfully. I have a 25 year old Jeep with a quarter million miles I…
Went for an oil change and had a smooth experience. Car was ready in about 2 hours and price was fair. I also appreciated that they were willing to share a price range with me via phone before I committed to coming in. Will use Gil’s again for future work!
went for oil / oil filter change and tire rotation - general servicing stuff - and also got fair quote on engine and cabin filter changes. Fast, efficient & professional with everything: scheduling (I did by phone), invoicing & approving estimates (all electronic), servicing, etc. automated text communications are…
Have had only positive experiences at Gil's. They are knowledgeable, fair, and flexible. Have been taking my cars there for service for years.
Trustworthy and reliable. It’s always a pleasure doing business at Gil’s.
Fair and balanced repair shop. They are not going to ask to do needles work. Work is of great quality
Reliable service at a reasonable price. I’m from out of state and take my car here for service when I visit my daughter who lives locally
a bit expensive but it was around the block from the YMCA so i could go there while my car had its oil changed. Also, i was told to get my rear brakes changed before my next oil change.
I have been bringing my car here since moving to Ridgewood. 3yrs. They always do a great job at reasonable prices. This last time they did an alignment, balancing and rotation with the service. I did not know it needed it but boy it drives so much better now. Thanks!
Gil’s team is friendly, knowledgeable, reliable and fast! Can’t beat it!
