I hate to have to write this, but after calling three times and leaving a voicemail in hopes of speaking with someone about my experience at the salon last week, I’m disappointed that I still haven’t received a response.
I had a haircut here last year that I absolutely loved, so when I learned that my previous stylist was no longer with the salon, I decided to give someone new a try. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. The appointment took an hour and a half, yet my hair looks virtually identical to how it did when I walked in, despite politely asking my stylist multiple times to add layers and dimension.
For $70, I expected a noticeable result and a level of service that reflected the quality of the salon. Instead, I left feeling like I could have gotten the exact same haircut at Great Clips in 30 minutes for a fraction of the price.
What makes this experience even more frustrating is not just the disappointing haircut, but the lack of communication and accountability from management. I understand that not every appointment will go perfectly, but I believe how a business responds to customer concerns says a lot about its standards. After three calls and a voicemail with no response, I’m left feeling that my experience simply doesn’t matter.
It’s unfortunate, because I had a positive experience here in the past and expected much better. I’m extremely disappointed in both the service I received and the way my concerns have been handled.
