This was a large project that involved filling in a 9ft deep pool. To prevent sinking, they started with large rock in the bottom, then gravel, then a few feet of top soil. Everything went well and communication was very good.

After researching several companies, I decided to contact Mr. Cedric Webb of Going The Extra Mile Landscaping Inc., and I am so glad I did. Shortly after moving into my home, I called Mr. Webb to discuss my landscaping goals. The very next day, he personally came out to evaluate my property, listened carefully to my ideas, and took the time to explain what needed to be done. He provided thoughtful recommendations, answered all of my questions, and made me feel confident that my project was in capable hands. Within just a few weeks, the irrigation system was professionally installed, and my beautiful flower gardens were completed. What impressed me most was that Cedric and his team never rushed the process. They were methodical, detail-oriented, and patient throughout the irrigation installation, allowing the city ample time to complete its required inspections before moving forward. I truly appreciated their commitment to doing the job correctly rather than simply finishing it quickly. Even after the work was completed, Cedric's dedication did not end. He returned to my property several times to inspect the completed work, make any necessary adjustments, and ensure everything was functioning properly. He was always available to answer my questions and address any concerns, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. I also requested to be placed on a bi-weekly schedule for lawn mowing and flower bed maintenance. Cedric assured me that my property would be added to the maintenance schedule. Since ongoing maintenance is one of my biggest concerns, I have been paying close attention to ensure that commitment is honored. So far, Cedric has absolutely stood by his word. One example that truly demonstrates his character occurred when I noticed grass beginning to grow in my flower beds. I called him that morning to let him know. When I returned home later that day, every flower bed looked immaculate. During our conversation that evening, Cedric told me that after leaving a dentist appointment, he went directly to my home to take care of the flower beds himself. Keep in mind that the temperature that day was 98 degrees, with a heat index of 111 degrees. If that isn't "going the extra mile," I honestly don't know what is. Cedric and his team, including Theon, consistently demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and exceptional workmanship throughout the entire project. They clearly take pride in their work and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Another quality I greatly appreciated was that they never requested final payment until I was completely satisfied with every aspect of the project. That level of integrity is becoming increasingly rare and speaks volumes about the company's values. I can wholeheartedly recommend Going The Extra Mile Landscaping Inc. to anyone looking for a landscaping company that delivers outstanding quality, excellent customer service, and follows through on its promises. Their professionalism, honesty, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction exceeded my expectations. Your French drain install has been over a year, the warranty has expired. Just some advice call roto rooter to unclog your drain. Has been working for over a year This is due to lack of maintenance. Please stop going back and forth on here we prayed together and everything. What do you call this type of behavior, you leave a good Review and then take it down and here goes another one. Man it’s getting little annoying, you want me to continue to come out give you free labor. There is nothing wrong with the drain just needs unclogging. Please stop bullying me online. We do not use racial slurs. You are using this app to con me to do free work! You have left several 5 star reviews pertaining to this project. I have the proof and there are weeds growing out of your catch basins. Everyone who has done business with Going the Extra Mile knows, the job has to be satisfactory before we even accept payment. This project has been signed off and paid what this customer wanted to pay. A balance is still owed for work outside of drainage.

Review from Google · view on GoogleGoing the Extra Mile did a superb job for me. It was the first time I had built a house. Cedric looked after me all the way because I was by myself. While doing the job, he thought of things that were needed that I never thought of. He explained what it was and explained how he would do it. Both my back and front yards have a fairly good slope. Every time he got the dirt prepped for the sod, it would rain, washing the dirt to the wrong places, and he’d have to do it all over again, which he did every time. At the end of the house where the crawl space door is, the yard slopped off. The builder was just going to leave it like that. Cedric built some nice steps with an iron handrail and a stone sidewalk going right up to the crawl space. It was nice and safer for me. He was out at my house every day for about 3 to 4 months making sure everything was just right! He and his men went the extra mile for me!

My husband googled and found Going The Extra Mile Landscaping Company and gave them a call. They responded immediately and were here within 48 hours after our phone conversation. Long story short is they showed us the problem and quickly came to our home with helpers ( some of the nicest people you will meet) and started working on fixing the issues we had and also as a bonus I got a beautiful landscaped backyard! We are so pleased with our backyard now and I can’t say enough good things about this company. If anyone has any drainage problems or needs landscaping I highly recommend this company. My backyard now has beautiful grass and plants growing. I have also called this company with plant care questions and they answer quickly and show genuine concern about my yard.
