Finally found the GOAT of movers. We just completed a cross country move with multiple moves during it (downsizing to a pod, pod to storage unit, storage unit to rental). We have talked with and used a couple other moving companies and our final move from storage unit to rental with Grandma's Boy was the best, most efficient, and reasonably priced experience. Pricing was transparent, David was super responsive, we got scheduled when we needed it, the movers showed up on time and were pros. It was a little tricky with elevators in the storage unit and moving onto a floating home with small doors and stairs to a floating dock, but they handled it so well and in the time quoted. I will use them again and recommend them to everyone. Thanks Komisi and Oliver!

Grandma’s Boys Moving Service absolutely saved our moving day! After another company delayed us all day and eventually canceled at 2:30 PM on a Monday, I was scrambling to find same-day movers. I called and spoke with David, who was incredibly friendly, kind, and reassuring. Hearing that they could accommodate us was such a relief!
David sent out Kaisa, Komisi, Shelton, and Josh, and all four deserve recognition! They were polite, personable, efficient, and so respectful. Even their banter with one another was friendly and good-natured. Their lead kept everyone focused, and the team worked so well together. They brought such positive energy to a day that had started out terribly.
They professionally wrapped our furniture, handled our belongings with care, and worked quickly. They stayed with us all evening, and when a piece of my extremely large couch would not fit, they were incredibly patient and accommodating. I had to rethink where things would go, and they willingly rearranged furniture while I figured it out. They never made me feel like an inconvenience.
For a same-day, last-minute move, I could not have asked for a better experience. Honestly, this was probably the best moving experience I have ever had, period. Thank you, David, Kaisa, Komisi, Shelton, and Josh, for showing up with kindness, professionalism, and a willingness to help when we really needed it. I cannot recommend Grandma’s Boys enough and would absolutely hire them again!

Initially I had written a good review but I'm amending it: we hired Grandma's Boy to help package our items in a trailer for a cross-country move. They were efficient and courteous the day of but unfortunately upon arrival, it's clear that the movers didn't take enough care to secure our belongings for a long distance move.
We told the movers that we had 5ft of trailer space available, but the movers only used 2ft and stacked several boxes instead of distributing them. This led to many boxes being crushed and arriving damaged; glassware and other fragile items (which we had packed with bubble wrap and written 'FRAGILE' on) were unfortunately broken.
I wouldn't recommend Grandma's Boy to package belongings for a long distance move. Pictures of damage attached.

In a world of AI robots and “check the website,” Grandma’s Boy is a testament to customer service, human interaction, and just plain great service. Booked over the phone and had clear communication and check ins from the owner and the employees scheduled to move us. The two gentlemen who moved us had their own truck, did NOT stop the whole time (my knees hurt for them), and had me out of my storage unit and moved into the 3rd floor apartment in 2 hours. The movers had an efficient system and took care with my items. They have a clear breakdown of prices and clarify cost before and after with you so there’s no hidden fee that sneaks in at signature time. I was so impressed and grateful. I had my last movers cancel 30 minutes before their appt and I already had the uhaul paid for and hooked up to my truck, so I knew I wanted to go with professionals this time. I would 110% use Grandmas Boy again. Highly recommend!!
