Good for classroom driving lessons only.
My daughter had an outstanding experience with this driving class! From start to finish, the instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and truly invested in her success. She completed all of her required class hours, felt fully prepared, and passed her driving test on the very first try! One thing that really impressed me was how confidently she handled her backup/parking skills. The instructor made sure she understood every step, and it showed — she performed her backup parking flawlessly during her test. I’m extremely proud of her and so grateful for the high-quality teaching she received. If you're looking for a driving school that truly prepares your teen, this is definitely the one. I am very disappointed with my experience at this driving school. I requested a refund after deciding not to continue with their services, but the process was extremely slow and frustrating. It took weeks of repeated calls and emails before I finally received any response regarding my refund. To make matters worse, I only received $110 back out of the $212 I originally paid, with no clear explanation for why such a large portion was withheld. The lack of transparency and poor communication made the whole situation even more stressful. I would not recommend this school to anyone looking for reliable customer service or fair business practices.
Lawnell, I am sorry hear that you are disappointed with you experience, however, some of the things stated are inaccurate. In your email on October 9, you stated you could not continue due to scheduling conflicts on your end. I replied on October 17 acknowledging the withdrawal. On November 2, you followed up at which time I told you I would look into it because it was processed on 10/31–but we’ve experienced a few issues with refunds processing. It was immediately resolved. We also don’t have any missed calls or voicemails matching the number on file. Per our refund policy, you were owed a prorated refund and that is what was issued—you attended class for 4 days. If you had questions or needed a breakdown of why the refund is what it is, I would have happily explained in the email you sent saying “I only received $110” The refund policy breaks down the 60/40 split that we currently use to separate the portion that covers classroom versus behind the wheel. The refund policy spells out what that breaks down to on an hourly basis. We took that hourly cost multiplied it by 12 hours because four days of class is 12 hours and that is where the refund amount came from. While a better option would’ve been rescheduling for a different class session, I understand that sometimes we also don’t know when that will be. All the best on your journey.

I had an amazing experience with Green light Driving Academy. The staff are very professional and extremely knowledgeable about MVA road rules. I really enjoyed the classroom portion of the course. The instructors genuinely want you to learn and succeed. Green light's instructors treated me with the utmost respect and were incredibly kind. They don’t rush the driving school process they take their time to ensure you can absorb the material effectively and truly learn. The behind-the-wheel portion of the course is just as amazing as the classroom instruction. You're able to apply what you learned in class to real-world driving situations. For some, the course might seem a bit pricey, but it’s definitely worth it. Green light Driving Academy is without a doubt the best driving school in Charles County.
Stupid and crazy then now I'm letting someone know this school takes the money first and put them pocket anyway my son get them 30 hours from last year August then they said when he had 60hous done go in to web make appointment let them teach him 6 hours before he go to the MVA text driver license so he way to lat week he had 2 hours from them.and now he go make appointment the not available in to April this the second appointment but I tell them his permit expires on May .so what can't I do ..please let me know .....
Hello. While I can’t completely make out this entire message, I get the gist. 1. Students do not have to wait until they have gotten all 60 hours to book behind the wheel. The breakdown is not only on our website, it is in the folder he received on the first day of class. It is also explained to each student during orientation. 2. Every student is told in orientation if the calendar is full to simply email us (the email address is in the folder he brought home from class)we have cancellations all the time 3. He doesn’t have to wait until he’s completed an appointment to go in and book the next. They could’ve all been booked at the same time. I would recommend reaching out to us via email because there are several options.
