We love the Greensboro science center. There is an aquarium inside as well as zoo animals outside along with a playground. Plenty of activities to keep toddlers busy.

Their exhibits are good and the kids have a good time However, since the beginning of the year, their cafeteria has become very overpriced as opposed to what it used to be $11 for a hotdog, $13 for a small pizza, four dollars for a bag of popcorn that is now half the size that it used to be As a member, I feel very taken advantage of

My family and I have been visiting the Greensboro Science Center since I was little, and it remains one of my absolute favorite places in town! It makes a wonderful day trip for out-of-town visitors and offers a fantastic, hands-on learning experience for families. The center features diverse exhibits covering herpetology, astronomy, meteorology, ecology, zoology, and marine sciences. They also have an amazing outdoor zoo that is currently expanding. Some of my favorite spots are the farmyard, where you can pet the animals, and the Hands-On Harbor, where you can pet and sometimes feed the stingrays. If you visit during the summer, the butterfly house is another must-see experience. Overall, the GSC offers numerous interactive activities that I highly recommend to anyone who loves learning, science, and the environment!

I paid $42 for two admission tickets, expecting to enjoy a pleasant visit. However, while eating in the zoo’s food area, we noticed a large number of bees congregating around the trash. Initially, the bees were staying around the trash and leaving customers alone. When a maintenance worker removed the trash, the bees began swarming all over our food, forcing us to leave our food behind and leave the area to avoid being stung. I was ultimately stung on my finger. I understand that bees are a part of the outdoor environment, but I find it unacceptable that guests were put in a situation where they couldn’t safely enjoy their food. Given that the bees were already congregating around the trash, I believe more precautions should have been taken before disturbing the area while customers were eating.
