I've been using GCATR for about 20 years now. They were recommended to me by a friend and I've never switched. I guess it's a matter of trust. Good work. Good price. And I trust that they'll do the right thing.
I am a single senior female. I have been using Gulf Coast Auto for years. I have always received honest/fair quotes and excellent repair service.
Very informative and honest with me about the repairs needed.
I’ve been using golf Coast auto for over a decade now, they do a fantastic job
Called for an appointment on our 2013 Suburban to check brakes. Gulf Coast Auto called to keep us updated on our vehicle. Had repairs complete when promised. Thanks Gulf Coast Auto and Truck Repair
Overall super friendly and helpful. Would probably trust them with more complicated issues or difficult repairs. With that said, I was charged a reasonable price to check and clean the brakes... but $45 for a tire rotation and $145 for an oil&filter change is definitely steep. Would recommend looking elsewhere for…
Brought my truck back in to have the brakes changed out on the front. They were great about communicating, timely in returning my vehicle and provided suggestions regarding the maintenance of my car.
first time doing business and good to find a reputable auto repair shop.
Guys got right on my van and took care of it, very pleased with my visit
Quality service, fair price, great communication...what more could you ask for? Highly recommend.
Frank and his staff did a great job!
Finished quickly without any hassle. The were able to quickly identify and fix the problem. I have taken multiple vehicles to them over the last ten years, and they have always done a good job. Usually, I am able to drop I off my vehicle by 7:30 am on any given morning, or the night before, and pick it up repaired by the end of the day.
Amazing service and good value. We recently left a garage after 6 years. We have a fleet of 12 vehicles and will be moving all of our business to them. Two cars this week and another one soon Terry D. TADA HOMES LLC
I received fair pricing, very attentive service, overall they are Great to work with.
These guys are awesome. They called me back the same day with prices and recommendations and got me fixed and back on the road.
Great staff and service. They had my car done the same day!
Have been using Gulf Coast for over 35 years. They always provide the best service at a fair price. Professional and courteous. Highly recommend them
The staff was courteous, professional and expedient. The technician was great at communicating what issues I had with my vehicle and I felt the charges were reasonable. Will definitely use them again!
Very fast and excellent service. Would definitely recommend.
Their team is amazing. My company has been dealing with them for years and they always resolve the problem and if they can't fix it, they will let you know as well and refer you to someone that can. They are very honest.
My name is Mackenzie and this the second time I’ve gotten my car repaired at gulf coast. The service was as good as the first time I went and good customer service thanks to their professional staff.
Super friendly and professional. Brought car in no notice, they took it same day, and had it turned around in 3 days. I have never suspected them to ever suggest service not needed. A quality go-to!
They are always friendly and helpful!
They did a great job. Got my car in and out. They kept me informed of what the vehicle needed. Very friendly.
Randy and the team did a great job troubleshooting the problems and repairing the vehicle. It was wonderful working with a business that does what is in the interest of the customer, such as repairing parts that can be safely repaired and continue to be used as opposed to replaced. The work was done expertly and…
Went to Gulf Coast after a National chain quoted me $5k for needed repairs. Gulf Coast inspected and said only a few of the items the other shop said needed some really did need some. Spent $1500 instead of $5k and car is running great! I dealt with Ryan who was great! 3/2025 - went to Gulf Ciast and dealt with…
I recently took my 2017 Toyota Tundra in for an oil change and to have the hoses, belt and brakes checked. Randy and the guys did a great job and checked everything. I was told when to bring it in again for maintainable according to Toyotas requirements. I was well pleased with the service I got and the cost was…
I've been coming here for a couple years now for two cars and they're extremely fair. Great with communications and a business you can trust. I recommend anyone in the area to them.
I recommend Gulf Coast Auto. I've used them a many times to do lots of work on our cars and truck. I think they do honest, good quality work at a reasonable price. I will use them again for sure. I trust them for honesty and ability.
I've used Gulf Coast Auto and Truck for all my mechanic needs for 13 years and they are just great. Great communication and advice come standard with dependable repairs at a reasonable price. Are there cheaper places? Sure. But I'll tell you this, I ain't ever had something Randy and the other guys worked on have to be fixed twice.
Friendly service, professional, performed the work they said needed and didn't try over sale anymore. Would recommend them and feel confident in using them in the future.
Gulf Coast repair was very accommodating to my schedule, kept constant contact with me regarding the repairs and stayed within the budget. Although I hope not but if I need more work done Gulf Coast is the go to for us, thank you! Once again Gulf Coast Automotive came through, water pump, tune up and fluids, the…
I am always impressed. Extraordinarily professional and polite while ensuring the customer understands the work that needs to be done and all options. I've recommended them to anyone I know in the area looking for a mechanic, and will continue to do so enthusiastically. Well earned.
Friendly service. Good work on vehicle, they repaired what needed done.
2nd time I've used these guys & again exceeded my expectations. One day turn around at a fair price..
We’ve been clients of Gulf Coast for a few years. Most recently they installed air bag suspension and rear brakes on our motor home. In the presence of the supply-chain stigma and the human experience that comes with it, GC never faltered and was diligent to keep us “in the loop” in terms of progress. Minor problems…
Everyone is friendly and keeps you updated on repairs. Very quick on service.
Got my old truck and SUV running in tip top shape. Was very thorough, pin pointed the issues and provided plenty of details. I only trust taking my vehicles to Gulf Coast Auto, thank you all very much! Highly recommended for outstanding service.
Quality work at a fair price
I trust Gulf Coast Auto & Truck
It was pouring rain when I dropped my car off, and they were able to call my in an about an hour with the diagnosis and repair cost. Within 24 hours of dropping my car off it was ready to be picked up! I have had my car back for a couple days and it is driving perfectly again. They provided wonderful customer…
Brought my Dodge Journey in for brake issues. They did a great job updating me on the progress. The price was upfront and no surprises. We will continue to bring our vehicles to Gulf Coast for repairs. Thanks
I have been bringing my jeep to them for over 15 years now. With the recent repairs, it drives better than it’s driven in a long time! Completely trustworthy, communicates issues well, reasonable costs, speedy service and always pleasurable to deal with.
Excellent work. Fast and friendly
I’ve gone here for around a year - I highly recommend them. They do great work with fair pricing and are highly communicative. Thank you guys! :)

Super knowledgeable staff and very friendly too!
New update, Dropped off my other vehicle. Older 4X4 for an alignment and overall safety check. They did a great review and dialed in some concerns with the front end. Felt and drove better without question. I am completely satisfied with the experience. I dropped my truck off early, they inspected a brake concern…
Great, service minded people! They told me honestly which recommendations from another shop were not necessary. Trustworthy, fairly priced and fast! Highly recommended.
Always honest quick service. Lots of communication about the work being done. This was the third vehicle I’ve taken there. Very pleased with their work.
Blake & the staff were very helpful & knowledgeable. The work done was at a reasonable price and I was satisfied with how they took care of my daughter's car.
I have had issues with a squeak in my car for 3 years, I took my car to 3 different shops and had everything known to man replaced/fixed even brake pads and rotors and it never fixed the problem, I got new tires and wheels etc I honestly don’t think any of the places I took my car really replaced my brakes Finally…
Highly recommend! I have used Gulf Coast many times over the last 15 years since moving to League City. Can't recommend them enough! Honest service with honest prices. For example, years ago my A/C was acting up on my truck and I fully expected a very expensive repair. Gulf Coast found and diagnosed the problem.…
Randy, Frank and Blake are always upfront and honest when I have a problem with a vehicle. There staff does quality work and I have and will continue to recommend there services to other in need of repairs
Professional service with great advisors. Done for a fair price in a timely manner. They just became my new go to shop.
Excellent shop with great staff and great technicians.
A great place to get work done on your vehicle. They have great customer service and excellent communication.
This was my third time bringing my truck to them for a repair. They are always precessional, honest, and do quality work at a fair price. Much faster than a dealership and much less than the dealership. I trust them to diagnosis the problem correctly and fix it. Highly recommend you take your vehicle to them.
This is the 3rd car I take to Gulf Coast Auto, and I am as satisfied as the first time I did. The attention and service you receive are +A each time. I know next time I'll need to service or repair my vehicles I will come back. They are people you can trust.
I was looking to purchase a vehicle from a dealer down the street and Randy quickly did a full inspection to let me know what I was looking at. He was able to do it same day turned it around quickly and gave me a great assessment of the vehicle to inform my decision. Would highly recommend and use again.
Excellent service and done in a timely manner.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Have been there before and will only use Gulf Coast on my vehicles. Work was done in a timely manner as well.
Quick and professional service. Detailed invoice shows all work done. Will make Gulf Coast the go-to garage for vehicle repairs.
Ive been here a few times now and every time they get the job done quickly and well. Plus they have never tried to get me to pay for something unnecessary.
All team very well know what I need to fix or replace or repair, especially Frank Prisco and Blake Prisco the best!!!
Excellent service. Polite, sharp, respectful, and honest. Didn’t try to sell something my truck didn’t need. I’ll be back.
It’s a big relief, especially for a women, to know that this shop will never try to oversell or put parts on your car that are not needed. They always keep you informed, fix the problem the first time at a fair price and in a timely manner. Thank you for taking care of my JEEP. Sheila
I have used this shop several times for my Jeep Wrangler and Nissan 370Z. They made special arrangements to accommodate my car that was lowered and Only had a few inches of clearance. Every time the job was done quickly and properly, I’ve never had to return for same repair twice. Highly recommend this repair shop!
Randy was great. He took the time to investigate and identify the root problem. He fully informed me of my options and the estimated cost. I will definitely return next time I need vehicle work or maintenance.
Very, very helpful and excellent service
Very quick, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely using these guys for any future repairs or work on our vehicles.
