I love hip hounds and so does my husky! He comes home tired from all the playtime with the other furbabies. Plus, I love that I can watch him on the cam. That gives me a lot of reassurance that he’s in good hands :) We are definitely returning customers who come for boarding.

This was our first time boarding our dogs at Hip Hounds and we are definitely coming back! The communication was amazing, I felt extremely comforted and without worry during my trip. I am so thankful for ya'll and will definitely recommend you and be back in the future!

Michael was exceptional at making me feel comfortable leaving my Rattie in their care. I love the webcams and the fact that he was not placed in a kennel for the whole time. He played with the other dogs and was truly happier when I picked him up than when I dropped him off!

Michael and the friendly, caring staff at Hip Hounds have created an exceptional daycare and boarding experience, and our pup always leaves happy. Highly recommend!

My girls had a wonderful experience during their evaluation day! I’ve been searching for a doggy daycare for a while, and I’m so relieved to have finally found one they genuinely enjoyed. They came home happy, relaxed, and completely at ease. It’s clear the staff treated them with care, and I’m excited to bring them back.

Love Hip Hounds! Michael's always been great, the checkout process is smooth, and my dogs always have a fun time here. The live cameras are a major plus, too!

I am so glad to have recently found Hip Hounds for my Dixie to go to daycare. I really like having the webcams. Michael, the owner, and Matty were very welcoming and answered questions before I asked.

Our two pups loveee their doggy day care spot! They always come back tired and ready to sleep for days haha. Definitely recommend this place for your fur babies. They even accommodated us for certain situations. We’ve been here for several years. Literally are pups second home! Don’t hesitate.

We have been bringing our dogs the Hip Hounds for twenty years now for both daycare and overnight boarding for seven days or more. Michael and his staff are professional and our pets are always well looked after. Our current furry baby loves to go and always drags us to the door.

Hip Hounds is the best!! Great, caring and attentive staff. Half days and full service boarding are available. I have referred my friends and co workers. You can watch your furbaby live on the Webcam, I love this Thank you!

Evaluation day was great. Trooper came back happy and tired. I love the access they give to the webcams. They're also attentive and I saw someone cleaning up often. Definitely was nerve wracking at first but I received an update within a couple hours and I was able to relax and know he was in good hands.

When your dog knows which day of the week is daycare day, and practically rips your arm off trying to get into the facility, you know they are doing it right. And when you watch on the web-cam and you see at least 20 dogs all hanging around without a care in the world and getting along in a pack…doggie heaven.

My dog is new here, but she loves it. She gets excited on days that I take her. Fair pricing. Considerate staff. Convenient location. The owners seem very nice, and if you read through the agreement you can tell that they hold strong considerations for their clients AND staff. Its nice to see an owner with balance.

We dropped off our little shy baby for the free daycare evaluation. The process was easy, the staff was friendly and location was easy to find. We love Hip Hounds and most importantly so does our dog (Grandpa). It's easy to book, close to our house and the price is great! Grandpa (the dog) goes once a week. The staff at Hip Hounds has been pleasant and considerate to work with. I like that I can watch my pup on video during her stay there. Everything looks nice and clean for her and she comes home in great shape.

Hip hounds is such an amazing dog daycare! I highly recommend this place. They are so sweet and my dog has so much fun! I love how they have inside and outside area for the dogs, so the dogs can enjoy the sun if they want! 10/10 recommend!

Our Dog Boomer is a large Husky mix and had a great time. Watching the cameras can be addictive.

Hip Hounds is amazing. Not only is it locally owed and operated, but everyone who works there treats you like family. The owner, Michael, and his staff are truly phenomenal and genuinely care about the wellbeing of the animals they look after. I can’t recommend Hip Hounds enough!

LOVE Hip Hounds! I moved too far away and I miss going so much, my pup Alfred does too! They take the best care of the doggies and always loved the caring staff there. If ever I find myself back in Round Rock I’ll be sure to use their services again! 🐾

Only place I trust to leave my furbabies. My Skips and Wheezy are Covid puppies and do not care for human companionship or affection other than those in my household. When I leave them at hip hounds I miss them but know they are in good hands. I like how structured everything is and being able to see them on camera from time to time provides reassurance.

Update 2026. The quality and professionalism has only increased. This is the only place I would take my dog and recommended them to friends all the time. Just plain awesome. Took my big goofy boy in for his first day of daycare and it was a great experience. They made me feel at ease and him feel welcome. The webcams let me and my wife check in throughout the day and see that he was having a great time. Air conditioned facility is great, pricing is great, staff is so nice! We will be bringing our pups here in the future!

Toby loves his hip hounds family :) he comes here for daycare, overnight boarding & grooming. 5 starts on each one! Our pup has loved his time at Hip Hounds! They offered a free evaluation day which went great, and then we boarded him later that week for one night. He has always seemed happy and in good spirits at pick up time. Their webcams are also great to have bookmarked, and we're looking forward to a longer stay in the future. Thank you, Hip Hounds!

Michael and staff have an amazing operation going. I’ve had multiple dogs there for boarding and play days. Just recently, Sam did an incredible job grooming my golden retriever. I highly recommend Hip Hounds for boarding, grooming, or if your dog just needs a day to hang out and play with other dogs.

Friendly staff, always feel good about having my dog stay at Hip Hounds. Really like that they have cameras I can access to check in on my fur baby during her visit.

I have used Hip Hounds for close to 20 years. Michael and his staff are awesome and have taken great care of all of our dogs over the years. My dogs get so excited the minute the car turns on Picadilly because they know they are going to have fun! Highly recommend!

Mike and team are incredible! I’ve now taken 3 dogs there over a span of at least 10 years - the latest being a 4month old puppy. I’ve never had a bad experience and my dogs absolutely LOVE going and always leave wagging their tails. I 100% trust them and will always stay loyal!
