I have been with home instead for 10 months. Arnie has been a good caregiver. He was my first caregiver from home instead and I will not change a thing.
We cannot say enough good things about Home Instead and the outstanding care they provided to our family during a very difficult time. After our relative suffered a traumatic injury, we needed to arrange in-home care on very short notice. Home Instead responded immediately, Jamie came to our home the very next day to discuss our needs and help us find the right caregivers. Her responsiveness and professionalism gave us tremendous peace of mind when we needed it most.
The caregivers they provided us were absolutely amazing! Angel, Geraldine, Carmen and Gabby were so professional, compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. Beyond providing essential personal care and ensuring our relative's safety, they went above and beyond in every way. They kept the house clean and safe for our relative to move around, prepared meals, made sure medications were taken at the proper times, and provided something just as important: companionship, kindness, and emotional support.
What started as a frantic need for professional in-home care, quickly became something much more meaningful. These wonderful caregivers became part of our family, and we will always be grateful for the care, comfort, and reassurance they brought into our home.
We wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate, and professional in-home care. They truly care about the people they serve, and it shows in everything they do. Thank you, Home Instead, for being there for our family when we needed you most!

Home Instead, a licensed caregiving agency, was phenomenal to work with over the past summer. When a senior family member in the Sacramento area suddenly needed help at home, Jamie stepped up and went to visit and do an assessment in-home - in less than 24 hours after I called. The very next day the agency had a full week’s schedule of caregivers (Care Pros) assigned for night shifts and morning shifts. Kristina from H.I. also kept me in the loop for scheduling and overall communication.
Our relative described all of them Khalilah, Casey, Ericka, Marie-Christine and Anica as “top notch, supportive and wonderful Care Pros.” A special shout out to Khalilah for going above and beyond with helping and being supportive. All the Care Pros were professional and we loved receiving daily online summaries of their visits. I highly recommend Home Instead as a trusted partner. Thank you Jamie and team.
