Very welcoming staff. Space was very clean and the front boutique had very cute stuff like clothing, jewelry and supplements! The class with Nasreen was all level friendly! As a beginner, I was able to keep up. They offer clean towels and lend mats if you need one! The end of the class they have a cold lavender…
I’ve been to many hot yoga classes in SA, and the only time I’ve been shamed for drinking water in a class was with laura here. whenever friends ask for recs I always mention how compassionate and supportive other studios are, but I guess listening to your body and doing what you need to keep yourself safe is not necessarily a priority here. and don’t forget - you will be told “come back to us, ‘your name’, come back to us, ‘your name’” until you stop your sip. because interrupting class to name and shame is more important than teaching as well I guess!
edit: in response to the reply of my review - she was not holding me “accountable.” drinking water is not something to be shamed for in a hot yoga class. it’s quite frankly dangerous to act like any yogi who needs to stop and drink water is doing something wrong. it’s my practice. it’s my body. I don’t think I’ll come back because unfortunately it seems we have entirely different opinions on that.

This first prenatal class I went to was amazing! I truly loved the entire experience. I loved the class instructor and the other women that attended were wonderful as well. The whole entire vibe was just absolutely incredible and I couldn’t wait to add this to my weekly routine as I am 5 months pregnant. I must add this class was held at the house of rythom location. That being said, the following week I went again only this time it was at a different location and when I arrived I felt so uncomfortable and out of place that i immediately just turned around and walked back to my car. I was so embarrassed about the entire interaction I reached out to the owner, Narseen, and she completely ignored me. If I could book a class and have it be the exact same one that I went to the first time at the same location and with the same instructor, then I would continue. However my last attempt was completely embarrassing and I never want to go back. I’ve been trying to cancel my membership but haven’t gotten a response from anyone. I’m very disappointed in the whole thing and it sucks that I thought I found a great prenatal yoga class just to end up disappointed with the confusion of the location and inconsistency of the instructor.

Hey Megan, I appreciate your feedback and am also left a bit confused. You and I (Nasreen, studio manager) texted before your class at Willow. You expressed concern finding the location, and I even explained how the classes were named according to the location. You left that text conversation confidently, saying thank you so much. Upon going to Willow, you were communicating with the instructor, Sara, and mentioned your feelings above then told her you would rather just attend classes at the studio. This was the last communication until today when I received your emails wanting to cancel, and I responded right away saying your membership was canceled.
I never want a mama to feel unsupported in her journey, and I was looking forward to seeing you back at the studio for classes,since you mentioned that being your choice moving forward. I would like an opportunity to chat over the phone to fully understand what happened when you went to Willow that truly embarrassed you or turned you off. Our number is 210-902-8337.
