These folks are wonderful. Interactions with Barbara and Dr. Pablo were friendly and professional. It's the 2nd time I have used them for tree trimming. Houston Tree Surgeons severely over-pruned our mature privacy trees in our courtyard. We hired them to remove some growth that was extending over our neighbor’s fence and to perform a light cleanup. Instead, they removed a large portion of the lower canopy - the very area that provided privacy - while leaving most of the overhanging growth that we had specifically asked them to address.
The result is that we have lost a significant amount of privacy, and the appearance and function of these mature trees have been dramatically altered. These trees took decades to reach their current size, and the damage cannot be undone. I wish I never called them.

We asked for an estimate for our approximately 35 year old live oaks in our front yard. A certified arborist came out and sent us photos detailing what they would do. We asked for a copy of their liability insurance and they sent a copy! They are listed with the Better Business Bureau .....yes, we were being cautious. And they gave us a small discount which we much appreciated. But the job they did was absolutely wonderful! One oak had a giant limb over the street that was getting hit by high trucks. It was taken down all the way to the trunk without problems. They raised the canopy and did all that they said they would do. They came on time (even though it was a rainy day); waited till it was safe to work. The staff cleaned up all the debris from the tree and took it away in their trailer. They sanitized the equipment prior to making cuts and sprayed the cut limbs with tree wound dressing. The staff even cut limbs up for another neighbor who wanted the pieces for future grilling. I would use them again and will recommend them to anyone. And another neighbor came out and was asking him about his trees. Very friendly and professional people.

The crew was fast and efficient, and they did a great job cleaning up the site afterward. My palm tree was right next to my townhouse with very little space to work, but they handled it carefully and professionally. It had not been trimmed in a long time since I bought my home this past year, and they did a fantastic job bringing it back into shape. Pricing felt fair too. I definitely plan to continue using them for future tree trims. Highly recommend!!

I had a fantastic experience with Houston Tree Surgeons from start to finish. It began with Dr. Pablo Teveni, an ISA certified arborist, who gave me an expert assessment of my Red Oak. I didn't want to take it down as I love trees, but I also hate how many times I have to bag leaves in my small patio area every winter. He knew exactly how to thin the canopy to solve my leaf-bagging issues while keeping the tree healthy.
Once I approved his estimate, Barbara took over the coordination. She was so easy to communicate with via email and phone, getting me on the schedule promptly and making sure I knew exactly when the crew would arrive.
The team that came out today was quick, efficient, and extremely careful with every limb they brought down. They even brought a truck to haul away all the limbs and blew out all the debris from my patio when they were done. Very happy with their efficient service. I will 100% be calling them for all my future tree concerns!

Impressive work from start to finish. I have a large tree in my front yard with limbs overhanging the roof, so I needed a reputable tree service to trim them.
After my initial contact, Dr. Pablo arrived the very next day, right on time, to provide a quote. He was courteous and highly professional. The quote he sent was very detailed and included more than 10 photos clearly showing exactly which limbs would be trimmed. I had several questions about insurance coverage and exchanged a few emails with the office. The office staff was very patient and answered all my questions thoroughly.
The quote was not the cheapest, but it was the one that made me feel the most comfortable. I decided to hire them and scheduled the service. The crew arrived exactly on time, were again very courteous, and completed the job in about 3.5 hours. They cleaned up everything before leaving.
The entire process was handled very professionally. I was especially impressed by their customer-oriented approach, honesty, and quality of work. I would highly recommend them to my neighbors.

Best experience ever using a tree service company. A very knowledgeable arborist came out and gave a great assessment and reasonable quote. The crew was prompt, hard working and efficient. Also, something you won't hear about work crews - compassionate. In a tree that was being removed the man working the upper portion of the tree found a bird nest with the bird sitting some eggs. He carefully removed the nest, bird, eggs and all and handed it gently to his helper to be carefully placed in a nearby tree. They cleaned up everything before leaving. I highly recommend Houston Tree Surgeons!

We’ve been utilizing Houston Tree Surgeons’ services for the last 6 years for tree trimmings and removals. Unfortunately, after the last storm, we decided to go ahead and remove all of our 8 mature pines (75’-100’ tall each) and a fallen one. Not only were they reasonably priced compared to the other quotes we received, they were fast, efficient and extremely responsive. We did had a minor mishap, but they completely took care of what was needed and we’re truly thankful for their services. We now have peace of mind when we sleep at night knowing we don’t have massive trees directly looming over our property anymore. When/if we ever move, we know who to call if we need reliable arborists.
