John was very professional and courteous.
Andrew did a great job fixing a leaky toilet the same day I called.
I had my problem diagnosed and today was the day they replaced the plumbing under my sink. They were on time, friendly and efficient. I’m very pleased with the work that was done. I would definitely use them again and I thought the price was extremely reasonable.
Brandon W was very thorough, sought out the problem, and then replaced the outside spigot at our request. A year ago Brandon replaced our water heater that was leaking and replaced a poorly installed bladder done by another company. He has also replaced bathroom faucets and drains for us. He’s a great guy and does a…
Big job this week with replacing some old cast-iron pipe with PVC in a second floor drainage system down to the basement. They did a great job Cleanne efficient got done before their estimated time and then came back and serviced our hot water heater. Andrew was on both jobs and is always pleasant, polite,…
Great neighborhood firm. Prompt, professional service.
Another great job by Howald. John arrived in a timely manner, assessed the plumbing problem, and made prompt repairs, all for a reasonable price. I don’t call anyone but Howald because I know it will be a superior experience. Thank you!
John is a great person to have working on your plumbing issues - he explains everything clearly and is very friendly.
Fast. Professional. Price always reasonable.
Sam did a very professional job! We were pleased with the quick service from Howald and plan on using them more in the future!
I will always use Howald until I'm worm food, and maybe even then to make my eternal resting place more comfortable.
Outstanding as always
Sam showed up on time, was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Concluded work in a timely manner, and the result was better than expected.
The tech was friendly, professional, courteous, and and answered all of our questions. The work looks quality and he even gave us pointers on how to prevent additional issues in the future - five stars
Howald to the rescue once again! They got a plumber out within a few hours of calling to fix a water leak. As always, they're were beyond prompt and professional.
Update to my previous review: January 2026: Still very pleased with the excellent service provided by Howald. Today they fixed our leaky kitchen faucet & replaced our old water filtration system with a new one we had bought elsewhere. The technician was on time & worked hard to finish the job efficiently. Highly…
Howald always does an excellent job at a fair price. The plumber, John, was professional, knowledgeable, and fixed our issues in good time without rush or delay.
Knowledgeable and experienced
I was without heat and the same day service was very much appreciated. The service was exceptional starting with the call. The woman I spoke with was courteous and professional. She too, needs kudos as that first impression is so important! Dan Powers was courteous, respected my home and thorough. He was pleasant,…
Andrew came out to do some plumbing and was amazing to work with! Their quote was less than other plumbers. They are privately family owned (not owned by private equity) and have done a few jobs for us in the last 5 years. They’ve always done the job well and I’ve never needed someone to come back out and fix their work.
I am quite pleased with the service from Holwald HVAC. They have taken care of my home and business for the over 30 years. They have installed, repaired and maintained my HVAC system for my home and company. My furnace stopped working at my house on New Years Eve. I wrote about my misfortune of the internet. I…
Sam on the plumbing team is always amazing! We have an older home and he manages to find a solution to any problem! Highly recommend!
Great to see a family owned / managed business as an alternative to larger and more unresponsive companies. Sam was superb - great service and a pleasure to have in our home.
Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly too. Love these guys!!!!
Professional, timely and service with a smile. Fair pricing and quality service. Thank you Brandon.
Another great job, and timely also
Sam is a pleasure to work with. His attention to detail and the pursuit of the right solution for the job at hand while considering the constraints of cost, capability, and fit, are outstanding.
All-around excellent service. Next day service was scheduled when I called. Plumber arrived on time. A complicated problem was fixed efficiently and effectively. Arman was pleasant, knowledgeable and clever. The checking out and payment process was by tablet and quite simple to use. I will certainly call Howald next…
Ricky is so helpful. He has come to our home multiple times and is always timely, professional, and knowledgeable in his solutions.
I heard some drips but couldn’t tell where they were coming from. Howald sent John out in less than 2 hours. Detecting the origin of the leak was not an easy job! John worked on it and called for backup from 2 additional plumbers—all were excellent! They were pleasant and diligent and finished the job in one day!…
We love our Howald team! Dan F keeps our old crummy furnace working. (Unfortunately, it was installed during the Howald Hiatus). That short time without the Howald group really made us appreciate the great work they do. So glad they returned to our community. I hope we never have to call another heating and plumbing…
Always the best service for HVAC and Plumbing !! Andrew, Steve, Arman, John, and Sam are leaders in “Plumbing” = GOATs !!!!!!
Another satisfied customer!
Always on time, courteous and explain if problems. Pleasure to do business with. Larry is always pleasant and helpful.
Always excellent. Have used them in many homes for years. Nelson was great today. Very thorough in his trouble shooting
Always excellent!! Larry and Joe were on at the house after hours within minutes. Fast and accurate repair w fair price
My water heater is in a walk-in attic with a slanted ceiling. We needed to replace the existing water heater and decided because of the close quarters we would replace it with a tankless water heater. It took all day because of plumbing and wiring changes required. They worked diligently and continuously and it is…
Knowledgable and delightful.
Replaced a faulty PRV. Solved issue created by a prior plumber. Explained work needed and why and explained features of new PRV. Would recommend.
Good service and a very thorough explanation of the work that needed to be done and why which was very helpful. Took the time to answer all of our questions.
Sam and John were punctual, very professional, and were in and out pretty quickly! Explained the issue to me in terms I could understand and did a great job on the repair. Good price too!
Armon has helped us many times—he’s the best.
Update from 8/15/25: still 5 stars. This time Brandon came to address water coming through ceiling below bathroom. Same professionalism as we’ve come to expect from Howald. Still lifelong customers. Thanks for always being trustworthy and living up to your reputation! Previous review: As always, the plumber from…
Very professional and kind. Hope he comes back for the main job.
Arman was very nice! Did the main value and I also gave him another project and did a great job! I would recommend Arman to anyone having plumbing issues. Thanks!
I’ve used Howald HVAC and plumbing for 50+ years and they have been great.
We trust Howald to take care of our air conditioners and our boiler and keep a service contract with them so that they’ll inspect our equipment each year. Today for the first time we used their plumbing services in response to a gas leak and found the whole team to be incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. Andrew…
I have used Howald for as long as I can remember for heating and air. I was quite impressed with Daniel today as he checked out the furnace and heat pump. He made a couple of helpful suggestions, too. He is knowledgeable, personable and respectful of my home. Larry and his team will now be my "go to" for plumbing as…
Just wanted to follow up with an extra shout out to Arman, who came out in the snow storm to help me deal with an emergency. I could not get other places to even answer my call. I really appreciate it!
Excellent all the way around!
Very professional and courteous
We are very pleased with the service we always receive from Howald and from Larry Wright and Mike Patterson! They are a trusted resource for our family! Thank you very much!!
Jan. 24: went back to Howald and Arman again. Sump pump was making nasty noises (another crummy crawl space job). Arman arrived right on time-last job on a Friday. With his usual great ‘get the job done’ attitude, he diagnosed a faulty and misplaced check-valve. He reconstructed the pump’s discharge line with a new…
Ive used Howald for 10 years. They have always provided professional quality service. I depend on them to make sure my home is comfortable and well maintained so I have peace of mind about the things I don’t understand. They’ve made sure I have top quality products that are well maintained and last. Their staff have…
Always great quality and service!
Great service - thank you!
Dan was fantastic and the entire Howald team was so helpful in the process. Highly Recommend!
Howald’s has been taking care of my furnace/air conditioner and plumbing for around 10 years. They are great and I love their work ethic and friendly professionalism!! Thanks everyone!!!
truly professional, excellent quality plumber. Wont just fix some thing to make a buck. They’ll tell you honestly what needs to be done and why or why not. We’ve had them for years and very trustworthy
Howald Heating & Plumbing provided outstanding service as always. Replaced water heater and added thermal expansion tank. I’m very particular and they have never disappointed me with HVAC or plumbing services. Shout out to the whole team who insured things ran smoothly from scheduling, ordering, and installing (Beth, Steve, Sam).
Sam was prompt, professional and very communicative. 5 Stars
Excellent customer service & fair pricing. I found the plumbing problem and Howald found the solution. Howald has serviced my HVAC & plumbing repairs since 1995. I love Howald heating air conditioning and plumbing. Thank you.
As in our previous experience with Howald, service was flawless: our problem, a broken in-sink garbage disposal unit, was quickly identified and resolved. There may have been cheaper fixes than going with the replacement unit they had with them (and they did offer have us purchases one on or own and have them…
Water line was leaking. Plumber repaired leak in a timely and professional manner. Very pleased with his work.
I've been using Howald now for years after going back and forth w/ other groups (both solo truck operators and other large groups)... truly here HOWALD KNOWS it's customers... they are very candid and provide great diagnostic to those, like me, that are not plumbing savvy. Therefore I feel in control of the…
Outstanding service that I can trust. Brandon was very efficient and professional.
We have needed Howald for 3 separate jobs and I've been impressed each time with workers, their knowledge base, and efficiency. All job estimates have also been accurate.
Arman Latifi is extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and dependable. I’ve never seen anyone demonstrate such professionalism and expertise and excellence in the service provided. He is a must have as a plumber.
Came quickly and the plumber was friendly, professional and helpful!
Called Monday morning and someone was there an hour later. Looked over the details of the repair and it was completed that morning exactly as described. Straight forward, professional. Well done.
Brandon and Andrew were great! Personable, professional and got the job done!
This is a reliable full service business. Their representatives are honest, courteous and efficient
Arman did a great job, courteous, pleasant, on time, hard working, left work area very neat and clean
Winter Maintenance Check on furnace. Dave Bennett is great and easy to work with. Have continued to request Dave for my HVAC checks and repairs and will continue in the future. John S.
Responded quickly and identified a good solution to an unusual issue.
Saturday evening our hot water heating started leaking. No hot water. Called Howald Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing. An hour later Sam arrived at our home and was able to repair. So pleased that we were able to get repaired on a weekend and so quickly. Sam was very friendly and knew exactly what to do. We highly recommend Howald. Bill & Jane F.
I had a number of plumbing issues. All diagnosed and repaired in a short period of time. It turns out most were minor. Armand is exceptional in terms of knowledge and professionalism! Very reasonable and fair price.
Howald was great, as usual. Can't stress that enough: AS USUAL. Special shout out to Dan for doing things right and answering all my questions in great detail.
Andrew was on call and came when I discovered there was a leak. He was most helpful and stayed (although it was very late) until the problem was resolved.
Howald has serviced our home for many years. The consistency in their service has kept us coming back. They are both our plumbing and Heating and Air company. Our most recent pipe leak (old house) was diagnosed and fixed correctly - in fact, Austin (our Plumber on this call) went above and beyond to look at the…
