Huntington worked with my son's schedule and helped my son increase his score. My son is smart but was not preparing on his own. By attending in-person tutoring my son had to put out some effort and ultimately got positive results increasing his reading/writing score by 50 points, which was the goal.
Personalized programs and special attention given to the needs and learning styles of my daughter. Went the extra mile to help and guide and boost up her confidence.
This is my second go around with Huntington for SAT/ACT prep. This time has overall been disappointing. After initial testing, a plan was developed for my son with a prescribed amount of hours knowing that my son would be taking the June 14 ACT. I just received an email that my son has 6 hours left and the Director recommended taking a practice test May 31 or June 1st. Assuming that all happens there is at least 2 week gap between when tutoring ends and the June 14th testing date. I believe I will have to pay for the additional practice test and then pay for any additional sessions to go over results and make sure my son is prepared for the test. The owner herself told me she could get my son's test score to a certain competitive point, but it seems as if that will only happen if I am able to shell out a few more thousand dollars to make that happen. At the end of the day it is more about the money than the actual outcome of the test. Very disappointing.
My daughter was struggling and very stressed with AP Chemistry and falling behind day after day. Huntington provided a great tutor that gave her the boost need to understand and catch up and do well for the rest of the semester.
I wanted to say thank you to the team at Huntington Learning Center Ledgewood, especially Mike and Larry, two dedicated instructors who helped my son raise his ACT score by six full points. We are excited to say that he will be attending NYU Stern School of Business this fall. Thanks again to everyone at Huntington Learning Center Ledgewood.
Huntington Learning made a huge difference in my daughter’s test experience. They provided excellent tutoring, test taking strategies, and were very flexible with scheduling. Most importantly, the whole staff and tutors are super smart, friendly, and professional. Thanks to the people in the Ledgewood location, my daughter got the score she needed to get into the school of her dreams. Highly recommended!!!
Our son attended sessions here for about 6 months and has made remarkable progress. He began below grade level and is now ahead of where he should be, thanks to the dedication of the staff. It's a well run facility and all of the professionals there are kind, knowledgable and provide the students with the repetition, practice and encouragement they need to be successful. My son always enjoyed his sessions and he applies what he has learned there to his daily life. The front office staff was always accomodating with our needs in scheduling and were good at communicating with us regarding our son's progress throughout the program. This was exactly what our son needed to fill in the gaps and allow him to grow in skill level and more importantly, confidence. Thank you Huntington!
The management staff and tutors are all super pleasant and knowledgeable.
The team at Huntington in Ledgewood was amazing from the start! The process from evaluation through completion was thorough and seamless. They explained the process and method of teaching from the start. We had regular touchpoints to see where our son was in his progress throughout the process. Our son had a lot of gaps in his education that they filled within in a year! He went from low self-esteem and failing to being on the Principals list! It was AMAZING! Thank you all! Highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed!
We signed up my daughter 6 months ago with a grade level reading of a third grader and a low level confidence. Know her confident level is through the roof!!!! She made it to the honor roll first marking period. Huntington really helped my daughter come out of her shell!!
