12 Years, Two Major Renovations, and the Same Exceptional Commitment to Quality! There is a reason we chose Innovative Design • Build for a second time, more than 12 years after they completed our kitchen, laundry room, and master bathroom renovations. Their quality, professionalism, and commitment to doing things right made a lasting impression on us, and we’re happy to say they delivered once again! Our latest renovation was extensive, including three secondary bathrooms, a beautiful new stone front porch, and a complete backyard transformation featuring a covered patio, new deck, expansive paver patio, firepit, and dedicated hot tub area. The results are absolutely beautiful, with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout. What truly sets Innovative Design • Build apart is their integrity, accountability, and commitment to getting things right. Anyone who has undertaken a major renovation knows unexpected challenges are inevitable. Our project was no exception, from weeks of relentless rain to unforeseen elevation adjustments and occasional material issues. What impressed us was how the team responded. Issues were addressed promptly, solutions were thoughtfully implemented, and we never felt pressured to settle for anything less than the right result. Several adjustments were executed so seamlessly you’d never know they weren’t part of the original design. Their proactive planning, including identifying and replacing damaged materials before they impacted the schedule, was equally impressive. We also want to recognize the exceptional people behind the work. Clark Harris, the owner, has built a company whose commitment to quality and professionalism is reflected throughout his team. Cynthia Sullivan, our designer, helped bring our vision together beautifully. Diego Hernandez, our project manager, coordinated the many moving parts, while Isaias Martinez, our principal onsite supervisor, provided excellent day-to-day oversight. Diego Sr., our lead carpenter, brought outstanding craftsmanship to the project. Both Diegos also worked on our original renovation over a decade ago, making it especially rewarding to have them back. A special shoutout also goes to BB, our lead electrical subcontractor, and Enrique, our principal tile subcontractor, who likewise worked on both projects. Their craftsmanship remains exceptional. We were equally impressed by the talented subcontractors handling plumbing, masonry, ironwork, glass, painting, landscaping, and the many other details that brought everything together. Having undertaken several major renovations over the years, we’ve learned that the true measure of a design-build company isn’t simply how beautiful the finished project looks. It’s the quality behind the finishes, the professionalism of the people working in your home, the attention to details others might overlook, and most importantly, how a company responds when something doesn’t go exactly as planned. Innovative Design • Build has demonstrated those qualities to us twice, more than a decade apart. They’ve earned our trust, and that speaks louder than any marketing promise ever could. We absolutely love the transformation of our home and wholeheartedly recommend Clark and his entire team to anyone seeking exceptional craftsmanship, integrity, and lasting quality. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again!

What started out as a simple kitchen remodel quickly turned into an entire first-floor gut and remodel so we could get the kitchen and living space layouts exactly as we wanted them. Innovative did a wonderful job of guiding us along the entire journey. In the end, their team turned a blocked-off and inefficient first floor into a beautiful kitchen and living space that dazzles us every single morning when we walk downstairs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home. --- My husband and I are not designers, so our ability to explain our wants and needs sometimes felt incomplete. Our incredible designer, Cynthia, impressed us by taking what bits of information we could put into words and distilling them to uncover the root of our design preferences. She offered thoughtful suggestions to help us achieve our dream space. Her strong attention to detail and creative approach meant she often had the answers to our questions before we even asked. She did an excellent job marrying our modern wants with the cozy, transitional vibe we were aiming for. Moving into a 5-month construction phase was exciting and naturally a bit daunting. Clark and his team did a great job during the lead-up, making sure we knew exactly how everything would proceed and establishing a reliable calendar and lines of communication. Before construction even started, they brought in their trade partners to go over the scope of work, allowing us to ask questions and understand the finer details. It was comforting to know they were bringing vetted professionals into our home. When demo started, the team did a thorough job protecting the rest of the house, using zipper doorways, sturdy floor coverings, and cleaning up the site at the end of the day. Our project manager/therapist, Chris, was a rockstar. He kept us up to date with frequent on-site meetings and communication throughout the week. When we hit a snag (as often happens when remodeling an older home) he was quick to get the right people in to address our concerns while minimizing impacts to the project schedule. He always made sure we were happy with the progress and promptly addressed our questions or concerns. We also can’t say enough good things about our lead carpenter, Mark. He is a genuinely kind and talented individual who takes pride in his work and delivers excellent craftsmanship. He treated our home with respect, and his wealth of knowledge and deep understanding of our vision meant we could trust him to catch every fine detail and deliver flawless work. Knowing Mark was onsite gave us complete peace of mind. Our Roswell, GA project had it all: unexpected major repairs, heated floors, a new gas fireplace, steel beams, a 9ft bi-fold patio door, roof line modifications to add a dormer for a new laundry room, quartzite countertops, custom cabinetry, and so much more. Innovative handled it all with an expertise that left us with a beautifully remodeled first floor, exactly the way we wanted it. We love our home and plan to work with Innovative again in the future.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **5 Stars – An Extraordinary Experience from Start to Finish!** When Bailey and I set out to transform our home into what we now proudly call **Double Nickel Ranch**, we knew we had a big vision. What we needed was a team that could not only understand that vision but elevate it beyond anything we could have imagined. **Innovative Design did exactly that!** From the very beginning, Meghan Berry, Cynthia Sullivan, Kate Ramsey, and the Innovative Design team brought an incredible combination of creativity, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine passion to our project, which was just around 8,000 square feet of re-imagination for a home that originally sprouted over 40 years ago that already had 3 major build outs over time. With their owner Clark Harris being so involved and caring for the most outstanding results - meant a ton! This wasn't a simple renovation. We were reimagining nearly every part of our home, from the kitchen, living spaces, and primary suite to our library, theater, offices, and even our detached gym. Every space had its own personality, purpose, and challenges, yet the team found ways to bring everything together into one beautiful, cohesive vision. What impressed us most was their ability to balance **extraordinary design with everyday functionality**. They listened to what mattered to us, embraced our ideas, challenged us with thoughtful recommendations, and introduced design elements we never would have considered on our own. Their eye for colors, textures, finishes, lighting, and the smallest details is exceptional. But beyond their talent, it's the people who make Innovative Design special. They truly care about their clients, take pride in their work, and understand that they're not simply designing rooms — they're helping create a home where memories will be made for years to come. Bailey and I are incredibly grateful for the creativity, dedication, and personal attention they brought to Double Nickel Ranch. The result is a home that feels uniquely ours, with character, elegance, warmth, and personality throughout. The project management led by Raul Lopez and Will Lavin was executed professionally and with great communication, daily updates with photos and details...just made us feel comfortable every step of the way! From Santiago to Isias and all the sub-contractors, they went above and beyond. **If you're considering a renovation, or simply looking to elevate your space, we couldn't recommend Innovative Design more highly.** They don't just help bring your vision to life — they help you dream bigger! Thank you to the entire Innovative Design team, for helping make Double Nickel Ranch something truly special! **— Jonathan & Bailey Thompson**

From start to finish the communication was top tier. I would highly suggest Innovative if you are looking for a luxury renovations company who really cares about the project and attention to detail. Meghan was a wonderful sales rep to kick off the relationship. Cynthia made our vision come to life on the design and exceeded our expectations. Raul and Will made sure throughout the entire project that deadlines were met with great communication and quality with great help from Santiago and Isaias. They stand behind their work with daily check ins during the project and even after offer a 3 year warranty which is unheard of. The owner Clark really knew what he was doing when creating the team he has, there isn't anyone like them. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Major Yard Hardscape / Landscape Project In mid 2026 Innovative Design + Build completed a major yard renovation project for us in North Buckhead.  Having used Innovative for two other projects, and having been impressed with their employees, design process, and results, we didn’t hesitate to use them again.  As expected they delivered another 5-star experience. Our project included replacing almost all existing landscaping and hardscaping with new designs of walkways, lighted entry columns, a front patio, new shrubs, ground covers, and Bermuda sod.  The addition of a rain garden required gutter and downspout reconfiguration to improve drainage in the front and side yards. Innovation provided the design and management of the entire project utilizing 3rd party contractors when needed for specific expertise. Included was the removal of a double set of French doors and subsequent stucco work, running a new waterline for a patio spigot, and adding LV electrical lines for the new uplighting of the house and trees. We are grateful to owner Clark Harris for assembling a terrific team of employees that ensured great results.  Meghan, Trevor, Sabrina and Sally made the project development and design process flow really smoothly.  Diego’s supervision ensured the implementation was done in a quality fashion, and site-manager Boliken’s can-do attitude was always appreciated. Also a shout-out to Innovative’s subcontractors for plumbing, electricial, painting, and stucco surfacing.  And to Ginkgo Leaf Designs for the planting selection and design.  Finally a hearty thank you to owner Kyle Harmon of Atlanta Professional Landscaping for his very significant contribution to the success of the planting installation and continued yard maintenance.

We recently completed a second project with Innovative - this time it was a basement remodel! We could not be happier with the results. From the initial design phase through the final touches, the team demonstrated professionalism, craftsmanship, and a genuine commitment to delivering a high-quality finished product. Meghan's help was exceptional from beginning to end. Chris R. was especially attentive as project manager, always taking the time to understand our needs and ensuring that questions and concerns were addressed promptly. Those involved did excellent work, but Ruben’s craftsmanship truly stood out. His attention to detail and pride in his work were evident in every aspect of the project. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a renovation. From the initial design phase through the final touches, the entire team demonstrated professionalism, craftsmanship, and a genuine commitment to delivering a high-quality finished product. ---------------------------- Spring 2022 Innovative exceeded our expectations. Outstanding design and execution. We could not be happier with our new master bedroom, master bathroom, and guest bathroom. We appreciated that Diego and Isaias were attentive to our questions/requests throughout the project. And we always appreciated Senor's hard work and attention to detail.

We removed almost every wall in our first floor remodel. It was a 5 month build out, after a full year of design, and we were involved with every aspect of it from conception to implementation. Clark and the team are excellent. We would recommend them to anyone. Special thanks to William, Sally, Santiago, Raul, and Sabrina. Project was completed on time, exactly on budget, and each day the worksite was left spotless. We love our new kitchen, walk in pantry, friends and family door, and everything else.

Innovative just completed a beautiful addition of a master bedroom, master bathroom, large sun porch, and bluestone patio to our home in Atlanta. It was a complicated project that took about 5 months. From design to completion, all phases of the project were expertly done by top notch professionals. The owner, Clark Harris, visited the site weekly and addressed all of our concerns. The project manager, Diego Hernandez, managed the job effectively and carpenters Isaias Rangle and Diego Zenil produced some fine work. Molly Trost had wonderful ideas for the overall project design and soft finishes. We are very satisfied and recommend Innovative Design & Build without reservation. In March 2026, Innovative did a "kitchen refresh" and replaced our countertops, sinks, plumbing fixtures, tile backsplash, cabinet hardware, electrical outlets and refinished the floors. The result was a beautiful new kitchen in an older house. The work was done on schedule and on budget. The contractors and subcontractors were all expert, professional and easy to work with.We had a subcontractor tell us that this is the best company in Atlanta. Again, we highly recommend Innovative Design & Build without reservation.

We have had a relationship with Innovative Design + Build for over 8 years now. We originally hired them to do a full-house remodel on our mid-century modern ranch house in Marietta, GA, starting with preliminary meetings and trips to pick out materials and finishes back in January 2018. Clark and his extremely talented team believes in having a relationship for life with their clients so we’ve had them come in over the years to help with anything that needs repairs, and also to rebuild damage we had from an asbestos abatement. His team provides the most excellent white glove service from beginning to end, and they make sure their clients are taken care of every step so the way. We will always call on Clark and his team for any home design, build, and remodel needs to continue the relationship for life. I can’t say enough about this company, so if we you are looking for someone who really cares and knows every in and out with the construction process Innovative Design + Build is the company you need to call.

We hired Innovative Design Build to renovate the guest bathroom and update the powder room in our Druid Hills mid-century ranch. Our primary goal was to modify our guest bath to "age in place." Innovative removed a large spa tub and replaced it with a beautifully designed walk-in shower. They installed both fixed and handheld showerheads, a built-in bench, and grab bars that look attractive rather than clinical. Our powder room also needed an update. The design and workmanship in both are superb. We’re retired so we were often in the house while the contractors were working. Innovative was mindful of our presence. We were always warned when work was going to be noisy or when power or water were going to be off. We were concerned about cleanliness and the safety of our dogs when we weren’t home. The team left the workspace spotless every day. They made sure the gate was always closed and all potentially hazardous materials and tools were out of reach. Innovative provides a professional and seamless process. But I think what stood out besides their skill is their kindness. Meghan was a steady, thoughtful presence throughout the renovation. She checked in regularly and asked smart questions at every stage to ensure the final product met our needs. Sabrina and Cally helped us navigate various design options (not my strong suit) and guided us toward a beautiful final design that balanced aesthetics with our budget. Chris was a cheerful and reliable communicator, so we always knew what was coming up next. And Ruben, who was on site almost daily, seemed to be able to do just about anything that needed doing. He always had a smile on his face and quickly became the dogs’ favorite visitor. Every subcontractor did excellent work, and all were professional and respectful of our property. Innovative Design Build has an impressive business model that combines technical expertise with genuine attention to their clients' daily lives. They did a truly exceptional job!
