Can't express in words how amazing IQ K9 Training Team has been for my fur family! Luis and IQ K9 are great! We took our newly adopted homeless rescue dog from Mexico who was a raging mess, and in 3 weeks, she's become a super obedient and intelligent member of our family. IQ K9 is the absolute best all around! They not only trained our pup to fit well within our family dynamics but I could tell they treated and loved him like he was their own. We will definitely be using them for future training sessions and boarding.

I can’t say enough good about this place and all the people we interacted with there. Having our dogs go through this training has been life changing for us. I love my dog girls, but admittedly their behavior was often very hard to deal with and it stressed me out daily. Not only did our doggies clearly love the trainers and their experience staying there and all the attention they got, but I feel like they are so much calmer and happier now that they know what is expected of them and how to be good girls. We also received so much care and attention getting set up and overcoming our anxiety and trepidation with undertaking how to keep up the training at home. They worked with each of our family members and never rushed us. They are extremely knowledgeable and have endless patience and their follow up is thorough. You feel like they sincerely love and care about the dogs and the success of the whole family handling the dogs. My only regret is that I hadn’t waited so long to do this. I was not sure about spending the money or time and about sending my dogs away for a few weeks, but after one phone call (plus a recommendation from a trusted friend) I could tell I was doing the right thing. After our first visit I was really excited. I highly recommend taking your dogs here if you want well behaved dogs and a great experience with how to handle them successfully. It seems like a lot of money, but the truth is they spend so much time and care with you and your pets and have follow up lessons, too, and when you combine that with how much better your life is after you do it because your dogs are easy to handle, it is 100% worth it!
Can't express in words how amazing IQ K9 Training Team has been for my fur family! They did an amazing job with my Rottweiler "CJ" in 2020 and I'm now bringing a new dog to them for the full 4 week program. Best results for training for me and multiple friends,. I've also used them for boarding when a work trip popped up and obviously my pup was very excited to go back. They are very personalized with their approach and ask the parents a lot of questions about what they see in their dog and what they expect after training. Very professional with their business structure, website and scheduling.
Luis and IQ K9 are great! We took our newly adopted homeless rescue dog from Mexico who was a raging mess, and in 3 weeks, she's become a super obedient and intelligent member of our family. She went from wild child with highly strange potty habits to fully acclimated with our family. In fact, she has full run of the house just one month later, and she has excellent recall. She walks perfectly and is just a great dog. Thank you Luis and IQ K9!
We highly recommend IQK9! Our 5 year old silver labs were in desperate need of training. Before their month long training we couldn’t take them on walks without being dragged, if they saw another dog nearby they were reactive, they would jump at people when they came to visit us and they would bark all the time. After training they learned how to walk on a leash properly. We actually enjoy going on walks without being dragged. They are able to ignore other dogs and focus on us. The barking has stopped and they go to their place when someone comes to visit and wait until the right moment to say hi. We are extremely thankful to Luis and the team for all of the time and energy that was given to the dogs while at training and for Luis’s continued support after their training. The home visits has helped us make sure we are consistent and doing the commands correctly. Our dogs were known as the terrors before training and now all we here is “what well behaved dogs you have.” If they had not gone to IQK9 we wouldn’t have well behaved dogs who can now go with us anywhere.
We were sooooo nervous about leaving our baby girl with strangers at boarding school, but after grilling Luis and reading every review we could get our hands on, we braced ourselves and took the leap. Best investment we ever made. Mulligan learned so much in her two weeks of boot camp that all (!) we had to do was be good at reinforcing her lessons at home. She’s got a reputation now as the best-behaved dog in the neighborhood, and the quality of the time we spend with her is greatly enhanced. We have joyful walks now instead of battles of wills. When company cones to the door, she goes cheerfully to her “place” until she’s released to welcome them in. Perhaps most telling of all was her response when we brought her back to IQ-K9 for her follow up lesson — she couldn’t wait to get out of the car and greet her trainers with an abundance of wiggly, wet kisses. Clearly, she felt loved and cared for while she was in their hands. Take the leap. You won’t be sorry.
It’s a shame that the highest rating you can give is 5 stars, because 5 stars doesn’t even begin to reflect the professionalism, kindness, and dedication that everyone at IQ K9 embodies. We sent our dog Mylo for a 3 week board and train and it was the most incredible, life changing experience for us. It was obvious that each trainer was not only knowledgeable, but had truly taken the time to get to know and work with Mylo, however, it didn’t stop there. The entire staff also helped work with us after training to ensure we had the knowledge to continue his skills at home. Through our interactions you could tell that each staff member truly cared for each individual animal there and loves what they do. 100/10 recommend IQ K9 to anyone inquiring about their services!
We had our Malinois do their board and training service. We had a great experience and learned so much from IQK9. We also got more training from IQK9 after we added a Dutch Shepherd into our family. IQK9 is the only place we trust to board our boys when we have to go out of town. They have so much fun. Our Mal literally whines from excitement when we get to their facility. We just know that they will be well taken care of and be mentally/physically stimulated. I also appreciate that they send photo updates.

I dropped my then 8 month old Cane Corso puppy off for the 2 week board and train program and have been raving about IQ K9 Training to anyone who will listen since! Blueberry is a smart dog (proud mommy’s opinion) but that also meant she learned just how much she could push back before I’d just let her do her. The training began on my very first phone call to simply inquire about the programs they offered. I had a very thorough call with Stani and she even gave me a few pointers to start implementing right away. That was my first WOW moment with IQ K9 Training. I was given helpful advice without the promise of my dog participating in their program. That’s typically unheard of! But that wasn’t the only time. I signed Blue up for the training and even before her first day, Luis not only sent alot of helpful information on what to expect over the 2 week board and train but we also emailed and spoke on the phone several times prior to me dropping her off. My sister had done a similar board and train a few years back with her pup so it’s assumed you drop your dog off and if you want updates you have to call. Not with IQ K9!! They sent updates every few days which included pictures and videos. On drop off day, Blueberry’s vet and I had been monitoring her eye which was looking like it was going to cherry. Stani, Luis and Logan went above and beyond by contacting my personal vet and sending her pictures of the eye, all while keeping me in the loop of what the vet told them to do. I was super appreciative that my baby was receiving not just training, but love and care. Now let’s talk about training. Until this program, I wasn’t able to go to the bathroom by myself 😆. She would scream and fight me if I tried to put her in her kennel, she’d zoom out the front door the moment it opened…… now she looks at the kennel as her place to calm herself and rest, she waits nicely at the door until I tell her she can go, she can stay in “place” (often falls asleep now) for long periods of time and her recall is fantastic and immediate from decently far distances. They gave us both the tools we need to have a great relationship! AND!!! After I picked her up, they still check in on us which is again, unheard of! This team goes above and beyond for your dogs, you can tell they love what they do! In fact, on one of our follow ups, I mentioned that Blue and I were going to go on our first trip and that she would be in a new location with a lot of new people coming in and out. I also mentioned I was worried about walking her in this new area as there are usually a lot of stray or unleashed dogs. Stani, Luis and Logan all helped to create several scenarios to help me work through and become comfortable handling various situations so that as a team Blue and I would be prepared for our first long distance trip. That was more training for me than for Blue but they wanted to make sure I felt equipped to handle anything that might come at us because it’s also important for Blue. I know that I have their continuous support if Blueberry and I should ever run into a hiccup and that just provides such a sense of relief as she continues to get older. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the team at IQ K9 Training. In my opinion, this is the only place you should take your dog for training!
