Customers frequently cite quick response times, professional communication, and efficient apartment tours as key benefits of working with the agency. Agents are often described as knowledgeable about the Boston housing market and helpful in navigating lease applications for out-of-state or new residents. However, recurring criticisms in lower-rated reviews involve unclear timelines regarding payment deadlines, lack of notice for property showings, and instances of poor communication or misinformation during the application process.

Working with Kenny Rama from Jacob Realty was a very smooth process beginning to end. He was very thoughtful in curating options that met the specifics I had discussed with him He takes his time to answer questions and knows the city of Boston intimately. His patience and reassurance helped me land the apartment I was looking for. I highly recommend working with Kenny. His straightforward communication and customer service were top notch.
I am not a client of Jacob Realty but they are showing my apartment currently. They tour my apartment multiple times a week. Late hours, no consideration, and rude texts.
I work with Muhammed Yildiz who has been very friendly and helpful throughout the process. I appreciated that the beginning of the process moved quickly and was straightforward. However, after the initial apartment approval took place, we were given an unclear timeline and misinformed about getting a payment plan. I think that if the entire process had included clearer communication and expectations I would be more inclined to work with them again.
Everyone we have dealt with has been very friendly but there have been a couple things that have been concerning. We were given an unclear timeline of when our initial payment of first, last, security deposit, and broker fee would be due. We were given the impression that we would have a payment plan, but were then blindsided by being told we would owe thousands of dollars the next day. Additionally, we submitted all of our payments, but were told we still owed $1500, after we had sent proof of all payments. This error was corrected only after we asked them to double check their accounting.
