We were proud to have an award winning Interior Designer in our home! We talked to Jan Britt on the phone about needing window treatments to add a finishing touch to our living room and dining room. Jan provided a window treatment consultation for us. She was able to take our current drapery style and turn them into stationary roman shades! My windows received a custom made window treatment makeover! We are so happy with how much more color the roman shades added to our rooms. Jan also gave us some house decorating tips about where to hang our artwork in our home. We would highly recommend Jan Britt Interiors for window treatments and art placement.

I have enjoyed working with Jan Britt for over 15 years. Jan has helped me with several homes over the years and has given me wonderful ideas to make my house look like a home made for me. She met with me for window treatment consultations, showed me different options, helped me select fabrics, and shopped for the materials that were later made into beautiful draperies, valances, and pillows. Jan and her team made custom curtains, custom draperies, and custom valances for each of my homes.
She also helped me select artwork, hang pictures and draperies, choose paint colors, bedding, and furniture placement, and even gave me ideas for displaying family photographs in my home. I always appreciated that she gave me several ideas to consider before making recommendations, to make sure I was getting the look I wanted. When it was time for me to downsize to a smaller home to a senior community she helped me with staging ideas to help me sell my house faster.
What I like most about working with Jan is that she is honest, dependable, and does what she says she is going to do. She is easy to work with, follows through on her commitments, and always has her clients’ best interests at heart. I never felt pressured, and I knew I could trust her advice. I highly recommend Jan Britt Interiors.
Jan has a great eye for design and helped me create beautiful, comfortable rooms that fit my style. I have been very pleased with the results and would gladly recommend Jan Britt Interiors to anyone looking for a knowledgeable Interior Designer, custom window treatments, or a senior relocation specialist who provides personal service and truly cares about her clients.

Hi Danielle,
Thank you so much for such such a powerful and thoughtful review. I enjoyed meeting you as I was the guest speaker at Chattahoochee Technical College-through the interior design department. It was nice to talk to you again. I’m glad that I was able to add so much to your education! I love educating future and current interior designers about custom window treatments. I am very pleased that I was able to give you some marketing tips that will help you to be more successful in your new residential interior design career. I can’t say enough amazing things about Jan Britt Interiors and Mrs. Britt herself. She was my interior design instructor at Kennesaw State University, and the knowledge, guidance, and real-world insight she provides are truly unmatched.
After my very first class with her, I was given the incredible opportunity to interview with HGTV for my own show. Without hesitation, Mrs. Britt dropped everything to personally call and help prepare me for that interview. That level of dedication, support, and genuine investment in her students is something you simply don’t find everywhere.
Her teaching goes far beyond the classroom. She equips you with the confidence, creativity, and practical skills needed to succeed in the industry. I’ve been able to directly apply what I’ve learned from her into my own interior design and custom woodworking business, and it will continue to make a tremendous impact.
I am beyond grateful to have been placed in her class. Her guidance is truly invaluable, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to grow in interior design, whether professionally or personally.
Thank you Mrs. Britt for pouring your heart and soul into your students.

Ashley,
Thank you so much for your kind words. It truly means a lot to me.
I remember that moment, and I was so excited for you getting that HGTV interview opportunity. I’m very proud of you for stepping out and going after it.
Seeing you take what you learned in my interior design class at Kennesaw State University and apply it to your own interior design and custom woodworking business is exactly why I love teaching. I always want my students to leave with real-world knowledge they can truly use.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. It really means more than you know.

Jan Britt was a true blessing to our Sweet Spirit Ladies group at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church. Her presence was warm and personable, immediately putting everyone at ease, and her message was deeply spiritually satisfying to the soul. She beautifully captured what a quiet moment with our Lord should feel like—calm, peaceful, and richly fulfilling.
Jan has a unique gift for connecting prayer with the home environment in a way that is both practical and inspiring. She gently guided us to see how creating intentional spaces can draw us closer to God and deepen our prayer life in meaningful ways.
Our ladies absolutely loved her, and many left feeling refreshed, encouraged, and eager to apply what they learned. I highly recommend Jan Britt to any church or women’s group seeking a speaker who will uplift hearts and create a truly memorable, spirit-filled experience.

I highly recommend Jan Britt of Jan Britt Interiors of Marietta for teaching a class on prayer. She taught our Sweet Spirit Ladies Bible Study at Burnt Hickory, and the women loved her.
Jan shows how prayer and the home environment can encourage a more meaningful prayer life. Her approach is practical, inspiring, and easy to apply. This was one of the most attended and impactful classes our group has had, and I would recommend her to any church or women’s ministry.
