Walked in, stood at the counter, three employees walked by us, and said nothing. Waited ten minutes and left. Go to the one on Kimball or Irving.
By far the best Ace Hardware in Chicago. There’s plenty of parking, the store is large and clean, and Robert and the entire team are always super helpful and knowledgeable. I’m happy to drive a little farther out of my way to support this location. Highly recommend!
This is the best hardware store in Chicago. From customer service, window screen repairs, to variety of items, this store has everything you need and if they don't have it they will tell you where you can get it.
They have the best customer service. The 2 guys working when I first came in were super helpful with helping me pick Benjamin Moore paint and the next day the manager even re-made me some gallons after I made a mistake with the paint line I chose. Will do all my home improvement shopping from now on.

Customer service is hit or miss. I’ve called asking for items before that they say they have in stock, when in reality they don’t.
I have been here three times over the last 72 hours, and each time, Rogelio has helped me immensely in the paint section. I had him make 6 different batches of paint at different opacities. Most employees would probably be a little annoyed. Not Rogelio, though. He was a delight and had a fantastic cheerful attitude while answering every one of my questions. This was while the store was short staffed and a line of others waiting would have justified not being that way. I will continue to shop here for my projects solely for his expertise and customer service skills:
Cam was super helpful and knowledgeable about products and inventory. I didn’t see what I was looking for so I thought I’d have to make another stop, but Cam helped me find what I needed and got me on my way. Thanks, Cam!
I went in for keys and had to rush out there are so many things I want to buy there!
