The Heyl Survey Company is a family owned business like ours & respond quickly with professionalism.
They took care of all our needs when building my new home & even had copies available for properties they surveyed for us 20 yrs ago when we were ready to sell.

Overall, a great experience!

We apologize that we are unable to get to your project in a timely manner and did send you a referral list of additional companies that may be able to help you sooner.
We understand this news may not be what our clients want to hear. We try to assist everyone with their surveying needs; however, it simply would not be professional for us to offer services and then not be able to deliver in a timely manner. Reputable companies are consistently booking several months out.
Here are some reasons why our industry is so busy.
Confidence in the Real Estate Market; for the past few years, real estate values have consistently increased. This has given consumers much confidence in the market and has people selling their homes, purchasing new properties, or developing parcels of land.
Fewer people are entering the workforce, and in turn, fewer people are entering the surveying industry. Those who do enter the surveying field will take, an average of three to five years to become skilled at surveying, giving our industry no real relief in the short term.
As you can see, the increase in demand for surveying services goes hand in hand with real estate buying and selling, as well as our industries workforce shortages. We aim to be transparent with our scheduling and consistently find ourselves at or above capacity. We kindly ask for patience and understanding during this busy economic time not only for our industry but also for the housing and construction industry in general.

I went through Heyl for a boundary survey and honestly the experience could not have been any better! Extremely professional and friendly, from the communication up front, to the reliability, to the excellent surveying - I could tell they really care about providing a good experience instead of just turning a quick profit (very refreshing in today’s world). It’s literally the kind of place you envision when you think of how an experience like this should be. The price was fair. I received my plats on time as promised and they look great. If you need a survey this is the place.
