In late April of this year, our aging water heater decided to have a major leak. It affected a large area of our lower level with wet carpet, baseboards, and walls. After being professionally dried and cleaned, there was a lull in the action while we waited for a reconstruction/restoration crew from the same company…

We had a partially water damaged bathroom ceiling which was about to collapse as well as some mildew staining. JL painting came and did a beautiful repair in a difficult area. Everything looked new afterward.

In late April of this year, our aging water heater decided to have a major leak. It affected a large area of our lower level with wet carpet, baseboards, and walls. After being professionally dried and cleaned, there was a lull in the action while we waited for a reconstruction/restoration crew from the same company that did the drying/cleaning. After many weeks of no one responding, we called JL Painting and Drywall Services to get on their schedule. Jovann and his talented crew took care of our needs of replacing baseboards, prepping and painting walls, and putting down new flooring. They even helped move our furniture! This all took just a week and we are so pleased with their professional work. They were delightful people to work with and we would definitely call them again for anything else we need done.

After having a disastrous experience with another contractor leaving a house sitting empty for a month and a half, I got a same day quote from JL Painting and they began work in two days. Job consisted of drywall repair, popcorn removal, ceiling skim coat and ceiling/wall paint. Even with the Christmas holidays in the middle of the job, they finished in two weeks and did a stellar job! Definitely would recommend! Not the cheapest price in the county, but if time matters to you, this is the crew to get.

Jovan and his crew did an amazing job—my family and I couldn’t be happier. They completed the entire project within two weeks and were respectful, professional, and communicative throughout. They walked us through every step of the process and offered helpful recommendations along the way. We’ll definitely be using their services again.
Attached are the before and after photos—it’s hard to believe this is the same basement. I can’t say enough about the quality of their work. If you have any doubts, let this review put your mind at ease.

JL Painting and Drywall LLC recently remodeled our basement, adding an extra bedroom, closet, fireplace, and a clean, modern drop ceiling that really opened up the space. The owner, Jovann, and his crew were professional, punctual, and made sure to clean up thoroughly at the end of each day.
I interviewed five different contractors, and JL Painting and Drywall wasn’t the highest or lowest bid—but they were the fairest and most reliable. I highly recommend this company for all your remodeling needs, including drop ceilings, bathroom renovations, cleaning, and staining.

Unfortunately, Jovann was a no call, no show for our quoting appointment. We had scheduled a specific day and time for him to come and quote a job for me and he never showed. He did not bother to reach out and let me know that he wasn't coming, which left me sitting around waiting and wasting my time. If you couldn't/didn't want to do the job, just say so. There is no need to keep someone waiting all day on you to not show up!
Response from the owner · a year ago
Hello Susan, we’ve been extremely busy this summer and we unfortunately made a mistake in our calendar when writing in your appointment. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Joey and his team have done great work at my home. Complete renovation of an exterior shed that turned into a beautiful workshop, new doors, insulation, drywall, light fixtures. They also painted the interior of my home and did an excellent and expedient job! Highly recommend!
