I booked a brand shoot expecting great photos but what I got was a completely different view of myself, my business, and what was possible. I'm not over exaggerating when I say that my photoshoot with Jodie changed my life. I walked in thinking of myself as a writer. I walked out seeing myself as a brand, an entrepreneur, and someone who deserved to take up space. Jodie has a gift for helping people see themselves the way the rest of the world should. If I had to describe my experience in one word, it would be magical. Jodie somehow knows exactly what to do with people who aren't naturally comfortable in front of a camera (aka me lol). She'll tell you where to stand, how to move, where to place your hands, when to look away, when to smile, and somehow make it all feel and look effortless. For someone like me, who is much more comfortable behind the scenes than in front of a lens, that guidance was priceless. Jodie becomes your personal hype woman... every step of the way she's cheering you on, building your confidence, helping you see what she sees. By the end of the shoot, you feel like the most beautiful, capable, confident version of yourself. Her studio is stunning, the natural light is gorgeous, and the entire space feels elevated and intentional. From the moment you walk in, you feel special, taken care of, and it might sound weird but you feel like you belong there and all of that shows up in the photos. When I looked at my images, I was amazed by how confident I looked. I met Jodie during a season when I had lost myself in being a mother and a wife. Somewhere along the way, I had forgotten who I was outside of what everyone else needed me to be. After my session, I saw a version of myself that remembered her value, her purpose, and everything she was capable of. She's walking in her purpose so that other people can rediscover theirs. What Jodie offers is soooo much bigger than headshots, branding, images, or content for your website or social media. It's an investment in how you see yourself and how the world sees your brand. You can tell she genuinely wants her clients to win and believes in their businesses. She believes in their vision and that belief comes through in every image she delivers. There are plenty of photographers who can take a good picture but like I've said a million times already (sorry not sorry lol) Jodie helps you see yourself differently and there isn't a price tag you can put on that.
