I love bringing my car to John's Automotive Care! They have taken care of my car for the last 4 years, and are thorough, honest and my car is happy! What more could you want!
Quick and fair brake replacement, service advisors were nice and honest, will definitely come back
My sister loves the news brakes! Kayla was super informative and gleeful. From learning she was the master-mind behind the teams fantastic social media to her extensive knowledge on mechanics to customer service. Everything she found in her bumper to bumper diagnosis was written out in plain-english and truly…
Excellent service. First time there as they were highly recommended to me. Very pleased. Will be recommending them to others.
So much better than going to a dealership
We were in town from out of state. Our car was giving us trouble. They were quick to diagnose & remedy the situation. Bryan, Neil, & Rick were very nice, professional, very friendly and happy to help us out. We would recommend this place every time for your car service needs!
Everyone was incredibly accomodating, responsive and thorough in the the diagnostics and repair of my CX 5 and C230. I couldn't be happier with the end result. Shout out to Dave, Robert and all the technicians that worked on both vehicles...Very professional.
I’m a touring musician with a group that performs all over the US and abroad. It’s a large band with members spread out between L.A., Nashville & Chicago. I live in Los Angeles. Typically, I fly to all our shows, but we recently had a short run with shows in the San Diego area and Ventura, CA. As such, I decided to…
John’s automotive repair is a great spot. I have an old jeep that I’m very particular about when bringing it to a mechanic shop. Trust me when I say the reviews are legit it’s the reason I brought my car to them in the first place. The guys up front are very nice (Dave is who I spoke to, he's really cool). Once…
Honest and straight forward diagnosis of an ongoing issue with my hyundai was much appreciated after multiple other mechanics couldn't figure it out.
Great customer service from Aaron and Ben. I received videos/pictures of issues going on with my vehicle and was communicated a plan of action for fixing it quickly with a fair price. Highly recommend John’s
I can't recommend John's Automotive Care enough. After a previous shop damaged the right rear seal bearing on my 2004 Suzuki XL-7, I brought it here. This was no simple job, as the damage was so significant that it required multiple different machine shops to finally get the parts properly repaired. My mechanic,…
Very professional and efficient! my husband and I have been bringing our cars to John's Automotive for years. We trust their diagnostic powers, and have never been disappointed in the outcome. They stand by their work.
I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else! They take such good care, make sure they call and update you on what need to be done etc.
I use them for my business and personal vehicles. They are fair and do quality work.
Service was fantastic! Keep me updated, gave me options and explained what they were doing every ateo of the way.. I had run over something in the road and had a bad experience with the previous mechanic I took it to.John’s automotive Went completely through the car told me what needed to be fixed. Set out a plan…
Had a great experience here. I appreciated how the report came with picture and video of my car. The report was detailed and provided me with excellent information
Johns has consistent, thorough, and professional associates who truly won’t upset you on things you don’t need. However, will educate you on what may need to be handled and what does need to be fixed soon as possible with no pressure to do it that day.
Great place! It’s my first time getting my car checked out in San Diego so I found this place on Google and I’m so glad I came. They gave me a great price on the oil change, and even inspected my breaks for free when I asked. Their customer service is amazing and they even like the steering wheel and seat in plastic…
Very positive, will definitely go back.
Friendly and informative team, good on providing updates, photos and options available to you. Work was done same day with early drop off and would recommend.
They are the best garage in San Diego. I tell everyone to go there even though I would like to keep it a secret.
Thoroughly inspected and tested my brakes. They called to tell me all looked good and sent someone to pick me up! Love this place. Friendly, service-oriented, involved with and supports community outreach events, trustworthy.
They are helping me get my 66 Plymouth Sport Fury back from a long slumber. They have had her a few weeks, and the list of work is nearly 3 full pages. I fully trust them, and feel like I found the best crew for the job
The team was kind and kept me up to date with necessary information.
Great service - and communication! So happy to have gone here - they are awesome!!
Wonderful! Great customer service. Not pushy. Tried to give me a discount at the end which was unexpected and just so sweet. And their car inspections are SUPER thorough. Defo going back.
Brian over at John’s automotive classic car repair was great! straight forward in knowledge and pricing. My 1970 international scout now runs and breaks! Will definitely come back for more work that I want to do. Highly recommend this honest staff!
Great group of folks working here. I got a sense of a good working atmosphere when I went in. I’m sure the technicians get a lot of work because business is booming there but the quality of service was exceptional. Andrew did a fantastic job with helping me decide on my repairs consulting with the technician when…
Bryan and the rest of the staff were great! Bryan advised me thoroughly through the many aspects of my comprehensive build. Advised me where to invest, & especially where I can save. This is my new shop.
Great, AAA respectful customer service. Photos taken of parts needing attention were part of the vehicle inspection report. Report was emailed and easy to understand. Their work is guaranteed which gives me peace of mind. I recommend John’s Automotive Care.
So happy with the services and repairs provided at John’s Automotive Care. I started having grinding noice when breaking and brought my car there because they had great reviews and were open on Saturday. Very friendly staff at the reception. They couldn’t get my car fixed the same day due to other busy day but one…
John's Automotive could be the standard by which we measure all other mechanic shops by. Timely service, proper staffing, good communication, great customer service (thank you Dawn! you rock!), and they embrace/utilize technology well to give me valuable reports on my car, ask for feedback and let me easily see what…
John’s is simply the best for courteous and professional automotive service. We have been taking our cars to John’s Automotive Care for over 20 years, and can honestly say we’ve never been disappointed. The peace of mind and value we get by taking our cars to a team we know we can trust, we know will treat us as…
My go to mechanic for all things auto. Always courteous and clear in explaining what they recommend.
I had my 2015 mustang serviced here. They did a full brake job including rotors, brake lines etc. They also did a full inspection and showed me pictures of what they found. I first took my car to Firestone before coming here. Firestone however did more damage than good and my rotors needed a replacement. At John's…
Had a lot of work that needed to be done and they were really good about communication and helping me through the process. I worked with Ben who kept my best interest in mind and made it a very easy process. Will be going back whenever the next project comes up.
Dawn and Benjamin were very helpful and very pleasant to deal with! Our BMW was ready a little earlier than promised so we were very happy about that. All in all our dealings with John’s Automotive this time and in the past have been very positive. We were bummed that due to Covid right now they don’t have their…
I love the extra precautions taken for Covid and the post-service sanitization. Great service. SUPER friendly staff. I will definitely be back for all future services needed on my Mazda.
John’s Automotive is a trusted car repair facility. I will continue to have my cars repaired here. Kudos to Jason for always taking care of my cars, in addition to Jeff and Justin who provided outstanding customer service.
