I love bringing my car to John's Automotive Care! They have taken care of my car for the last 4 years, and are thorough, honest and my car is happy! What more could you want!
The busted passenger mirror unit was replaced in half a day after it was ordered. As a caregiver for my mother, I appreciate the efficiency. It works perfectly with all the electrical connections .
My sister loves the news brakes! Kayla was super informative and gleeful. From learning she was the master-mind behind the teams fantastic social media to her extensive knowledge on mechanics to customer service. Everything she found in her bumper to bumper diagnosis was written out in plain-english and truly…
First time customer and very pleased with the service. Will be returning for future work.
So much better than going to a dealership
John’s is the greatest. Trustworthy and the offer complimentary transportation
I highly recommend John’s Automotive for everyone. I was delighted that they could service my new hybrid!!!!! Every employee is totally focused on your vehicle, your understanding of needed service and on your personal experience! After the first checkup at a dealership, which was supposed to be free, I drove by…
John’s Automotive is a first class operation. They’ve done work on my Lexus and my Scion and I am extremely happy with the results, including their pricing. I’m retired from 45 years of owning my own trucking business and maintaining my trucks. That qualifies me to give Johns Automotive a Five out of five stars.…
Great service, welcoming staff.
Rick was great, no pressure on services that were suggested, was thorough and friendly. Highly recommend, they don't try to up sale you like other places.
The best service I ever had Rick and the team are super professional and more important than anything. Super honest people do not hesitate schedule an appointment right now they’re amazing.
Always polite and informative. John’s Automotive is fair and good work. I took my van in for an oil change, and they gave me a full report on things that needed attention. From severe to passive. I now plan preventative care instead of emergency care. I know what needs attention and how much to budget.
Honest, good people. I appreciate their work on my GMC Acadia to keep her going, especially after working with a rotten dealership who just seemed to want me to buy a new car. Happily recommend John’s to anyone!
Just had another great experience @ John’s Automotive! Thanks for your care & expertise, as always!
They do good work and seem honest. They offered to fix an oil leak under warranty.
My neighbor Thom has been going to John”s Automotive for 25 years. So when I had an issue with my mechanic having me pay 2500- for a repair that left me on the side of the freeway and then was saying it was going to need a Turbo at 4k more I towed it to Johns Automotive with Thoms referral. For 300- they put it back…
This shop is my first choice for everything automotive. They are professional yet personal, the work is always completed at or below competitor prices and on time. After 4 years bringing both my business and personal vehicles here I drive with confidence knowing that if they have signed off on it...its good to go.…
Dave is great! Always have had honest, helpful, and trustworthy care!
They are like a family doctor but for vehicles! Aawsome time! Arron you rock!
New to area and came as a first time customer from a referral. Service was great. Completed work on time and at a fair price.
Had a 69 Corvette "restored" to good running condition from it sitting a lot.
I like when I can collaborate with a person or business rather than blindly accepting what they determine is needed. Johns Automotive team (front staff and mechanics) researched and discussed with me what was needed now and were prepared with information of what would need to be done down the road. I feel that the…
I have trusted John's Automotive Care Service for over 7 years with the service and maintenance of my car. I think that speaks volumes for their mechanical expertise, customer service and overall helpfulness in addressing any mechanical issue and explaining thoroughly how to resolve it.
I would recommend this dealership to any and everybody. I can not say enough about these guys, my battery in my car died the day before I was supposed to fly cross country so I called the guys over at John’s auto to see if they could help. Not only did they help me they went above and beyond they drove out to me to…
John’s automotive repair is a great spot. I have an old jeep that I’m very particular about when bringing it to a mechanic shop. Trust me when I say the reviews are legit it’s the reason I brought my car to them in the first place. The guys up front are very nice (Dave is who I spoke to, he's really cool). Once…
Great place to bring your car.
Arrived early for my appointment. Was greeted and told how long I could possibly be waiting. Very professional crew, they have snacks in the waiting room
John’s Automotive Rock ! The only shop I go to for truck ! Always good reliable work . Friendly staff ! Great mechanics !
I have been taking my vehicles to them for years they have Excellent service!!! They stand behind their service and work. They do a great review of my vehicle overall condition and thorough inspection! Communication via text and email is super! I cannot give them a more stronger recommendation!!!
I have been going to John's for all of my car's needs and they always give my car the best service to keep me safe on the road.
Napa and AAA certified what more do you need to be sure of quality care. Just had my 96 ram touring van in and it is back to running like new . Thanks
Great
The staff at John’s are always professional and very friendly. John’s has earned my trust and my business. Thank you, John’s!!
Completely satisfied. I recommend John's to anyone looking for a mechanic or just general automotive maintenance.
We bought a 2002 Firebird for my son's first car. It needs a lot of TLC and professional help. With the aid of Benjamin, our Service Rep, we put together a list of priorities to keep my son safe. No high pressure, no unnecessary repairs just solid, honest, professional service. John's was recommended to us by our…
Very satisfied, the routine service was just as promised, the inspection is always helpful and we're taking care of an existing concern on my next visit. I've always used NAPA parts and their service centers when possible, I always feel I got the right advice and reasonable solutions.
Excellent service & quality work! We’ve been coming here for years and always get great service
Quick, great, and courteous service. I have come to expect this from the John’s Automotive crew every time.
This would have been a 5-star rating if the tech who had to get inside my glove compartment in order to access a lever had bothered to pick up the CDs and napkin that fell out and landed on my passenger-side floor. There was nothing on the floor before he got into the glove compartment. That was sloppy. Makes me…
Been having my cars serviced here for awhile now and I can honestly say I haven’t had any problems with the work performed. I feel comfortable that they are looking out for me best interest in indicating what needs to be addressed with regards to priority and what can wait without it being a safety issue. Thank you all at John’s Automotive.
I worked with Arron who was extremely responsive, helpful, kind and patient with me! He helped me out a lot and found an easy and cost efficient fix to my cars issue.
I visited Johns Automotive Care for the first time today. After my wife and daughter ran over something on the 125 my vehicle was making noises. It's a newer electric car and I feared the worst. The team at John's had my car up on a lift and a valuated within 30 minutes. I did call ahead and spoke with Joseph.…
I called John’s Automotive Care to inquire about an oil change and spoke with Arron. Wow! He represented John’s Automotive Care so well. Such good customer service and people skills. I really had bad experiences with those quick oil change places and was so glad that a technician was available the same day to work…
I was impressed by their honesty and customer attention. They are very friendly and my car was fixed correctly. I will bring my car to them for future services.
John's will give you a full report with pictures of the parts that they recommend fixing. They advised me on what should and shouldn't be addressed at the time. They even helped me by shuttling me home after I dropped my car off.
We love how John’s team treats us like family. No matter who we talk to, from the front desk to the technician servicing our vehicle, every member of the team is communicative and helpful! Would not trust our vehicles with anyone else.
Best price I received from many , fixed my problem in an hour . Friendly workers , totally going back here
I'm going on a long trip and brought my truck in for maintenance and oil change. Service was prompt an thorough.
Johns has consistent, thorough, and professional associates who truly won’t upset you on things you don’t need. However, will educate you on what may need to be handled and what does need to be fixed soon as possible with no pressure to do it that day.
Easy to do business with. I went in for an oil change, very fairly priced, definitely cheaper than the dealer or the drive through (plus they reset the oil indicator back to 100%, not everyone does) Nice waiting area with good coffee and free bottled water. Very friendly staff.
I recently had a disappointing experience at John's Automotive, where I took my car in for brake service. Unfortunately, I was shocked to find that the estimate I received was significantly higher than what I was quoted at the Toyota dealership next door for the same services. When I questioned the charges and…
Called in and they quoted me price for diagnostic. Walked in 5 minutes later and amazing customer service! They went above and beyond. Called me every step of the way. Fixed my issue and did a temporary fix on another problem of my car had. Did not charge me extra or over charge me. They listened to my rant about…
When I replaced tires recently, I discovered very uneven wear, requiring a wheel alignment. Although I had never used John’s Automotive before, they had excellent references on Yelp and other sites so I called and made an appointment. Their service was friendly and professional and my car was ready for pick up a few…
The service that I receive and the attention and care to my car is consistently excellent! The "team" of Dave, Jeff and Matthew had me in and out of the shop with everything working in the blink of an eye! I highly recommend John's Automotive Care!
They were of great help and I appreciate how transparent they are with what issues they saw on my vehicle. They gave a detailed maintenance report on my vehicle as well which helped me better understand the overall status of my vehicle. Honestly my car has been driving better than it ever has been after I got it…
I haven't been to an auto repair shop this well organized and professional in years! This comes from a person who worked for the SDG&E Fleet Services for 21 years. I am very familiar with automotive repair and service. 😃🚙
Great service. Dawn makes sure I know what is needed and explains the costs. Jeff is a friendly and safe shuttle driver.
John's Automotive is a wonderful blast from the past. Honest, professional, fast and friendly. We've had two vehicles serviced there in the past two weeks and both were done in less than 24 hours at a very reasonable price
These guys take great care of my car! My car runs like it’s brand new every time I get it back. From routine services to inspecting my vehicle after an accident and getting it back to running perfectly, John’s Automotive is the best. They are experts in their field and they know customer service! Knowing that…
Cleanest, friendliest experience in an auto shop
Dropped car off with no appointment and got back with me in a couple hours. Did repairs and got my car back the next day!!! Great work, amazing customer service and staff!!!!
I brought my truck here and it sat for WEEKS. Their communication between offices and techs is terrible. Do not bring your truck here if you want work done in a timely fashion. Aside from the one part they sent off to be remanufactured, my truck came back in significantly worse shape.
They are the best garage in San Diego. I tell everyone to go there even though I would like to keep it a secret.
This place is Awesome, I’ve been coming here for years and it’s the only place I trust with all three of our vehicles. Always fast and friendly service with great prices.
They kept me informed at every step, they gave me options. All, while being really courteous, clear, and flexible, because my schedule kept changing. I really appreciate their thoroughness, expertise, and as I mentioned -flexibility. I love that they both send out coupons and that they give you a discount if you’re…
They are helping me get my 66 Plymouth Sport Fury back from a long slumber. They have had her a few weeks, and the list of work is nearly 3 full pages. I fully trust them, and feel like I found the best crew for the job
I had repair work done last week for oil leak and water pump leak. It took all week, which included inspection, dealing with warranty company, as well as making the necessary repairs. They communicated and kept me updated with progress during the week. They are very complete and stand by their work. I recommend…
Extremely courteous, punctual and they do a great job keeping our cars in tip top shape.
Excellent service
Excellent service! They took pictures as they inspected my car, which were included with the report. They gave an estimate for suggested repairs and it was the lowest price we found. They ordered the parts needed and called to make an appointment for repairs only when they were sure they would have the parts. Thank you so much Dawn, Rick and Dave!
Dave was great and so helpful- thank you! Loved the snacks too.
Great service
Happy to have found an honest, reliable and affordable mechanic. Ask for Aaron, Dave, Dawn… the entire team is awesome!
The team was kind and kept me up to date with necessary information.
Great service - and communication! So happy to have gone here - they are awesome!!
Dave was amazingly helpful, understanding, and accommodating. He took care of all my needs, communicated clearly throughout, and helped me understand next steps. Very much appreciate John’s Automotive’s personal care & attention, even to basic simple needs.
I brought my truck here and it was received by Dave. Dave went out of his way to provide the required documentation needed for a case as well as a thorough diagnostic report.
Communication was fast and effective. Everything that was going to be done was explained prior and during and then after as well.
John’s was a extremely easy experience. Their team of pros made drop off and pick up easy, service was fairly priced, and they even have snacks and coffee. Hard to beat
I'll be taking a long trip in my car and wanted to have my car checked. I just had the oil changed by the Service Department at the dealership I bought the car from and get a vehicle inspection with each oil change. I told them about my trip and asked that they do a more thorough check. I got my car back with no…
Repairs done to pass Smog. Thanks you all.
Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable technicians.
I have been using John’s automotive for almost three years now and have nothing but great things to say about them. They’re honest in their assessments and have a great front office. Benjamin is accommodating and thoroughly explains your vehicle’s condition prior and makes sound recommendations about what services…
Super convenient. Free shuttle service in a 6 mile radius. Up front estimate of price and required time for parts and labor was spot on. No crazy recommendations for unnecessary services. Price was reasonable. I'm very happy I brought my car here.
Great group of folks working here. I got a sense of a good working atmosphere when I went in. I’m sure the technicians get a lot of work because business is booming there but the quality of service was exceptional. Andrew did a fantastic job with helping me decide on my repairs consulting with the technician when…
Bryan and the rest of the staff were great! Bryan advised me thoroughly through the many aspects of my comprehensive build. Advised me where to invest, & especially where I can save. This is my new shop.
John’s Automotive is a great repair facility to take your vehicle. The whole process is seamless. I’ve had 2 different vehicles inspected here. It was done throughly with pics indicating what’s going on with the vehicle. Im currently having work done on an older vehicle looking forward to their top notch service.
The team at Johns automotive car were so thorough in their inspection of my car. I appreciated all the photos and clear communication. Justin was so helpful with explaining what everything meant. I will definitely be coming back for any future car needs
I always have a good experience with John’s. They are communicative, friendly, and very efficient at what they do. Their local shuttle is a real life saver and everyone I’ve spoken with has been knowledgeable and professional. They are my go-to for car troubles or maintenance. Highly recommend.
Staff went above and beyond to take care of my car and educated me on how to be a better owner
Bestest service
I only take my car to John’s automotive, they’re honest, they take care of you and your car. They’re super accommodating and I love that they email a whole breakdown of whats good with your car, what needs attention, and what they did. Super great service!
Thanks Brian and crew for getting my car in and out with a smog test.
The whole John Automotive team is just simply amazing, honest, fair and now my extended family. It’s hard to find great reliable mechanics to work on vehicles these days. I would refer them in a heartbeat for any auto services. I especially want to thank Bryan Coburn for going above and beyond doing a thorough…
Great service very courteous friendly staff, felt very comfortable and taken care of. My car was fixed and back to me the next day.
Honestly they were truthful and honest with me and very professional
John's Automotive cares about their customers and autos. They do excellent work and on schedule. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else.
The whole team at Johns Automotive pushed through delays on part deliveries to keep the original completion date for me. Really appreciate their commitment to the customer!
Very good
John’s is simply the best for courteous and professional automotive service. We have been taking our cars to John’s Automotive Care for over 20 years, and can honestly say we’ve never been disappointed. The peace of mind and value we get by taking our cars to a team we know we can trust, we know will treat us as…
