We had issues with our front steps falling apart over the past few years. Several bricks fell out and others were cracked. The steps also started to lean. I contacted four companies for quotes. Orlando with JR's Landscaping was at my house the next day to talk about options and the process. The next day he sent me the quotes for each option along with a break down on what was included. Demo, prep, material and cost. After the demo they found rotting wood and some cracked concrete behind the old steps. I didn't have a contractor to do the work, bur Orlando thought of someone and they came out within a few hours to look at the issue and quote it. The next day, the rotting wood and cracked concrete were resolved. The granite steps were installed along with our old railing that was sanded down and painted. The crew that did the work were safe, worked hard and kept me informed through the whole process. I would strongly recommend JR's to anyone and I will call them again for any future work.

When we first contacted them, they were responsive, professional, and moved quick to get us a plan and an estimate. They gave us a good timeline, which they achieved. They were able to adapt to unforeseen circumstances (and last minute requests from us). They rebuilt a retaining wall and installed a patio, both of which tastefully incorporated natural granite ledge in our yard. We highly recommend JR's landscaping.

Thank you for the great review Ryan! It was a pleasure to work with you both on your wall and patio project and we are excited for you to enjoy your new outdoor space this season.

JR's Landscaping did a complete makeover of our front yard. We needed a new walkway, new lawn, irrigation and planting beds, and Orlando's team delivered. The crew was hardworking and courteous. Orlando came on site every morning to check on the work and go over things with his team. Everything was well-coordinated. Communication was excellent, from the initial quote to final care instructions. A few days after the job was done, I noticed that a couple small patches of the new grass wasn't getting enough water. I contacted Orlando and he sent a guy out on the same day to make adjustments to the sprinkler heads. He checked on the lawn a couple weeks later to make sure everything was looking good. This kind of attention to detail and follow-through is quite remarkable. I really enjoyed working with them and love the end result!

I have not personally used this company, but I must say they did a great job on my neighbors yard.
The reason I even went to leave this review is because whoever was driving the dump truck and trailer left the job and drove slow down our street when people usually fly.
That’s a rare thing lately and there are lots of kids.
Thanks guys!
Response from the owner · 6 months ago
Thank you for taking the time to leave this, we really appreciate it and I will be sure to let the guys know.
We take a lot of pride not just in the work we do on each property, but also in how our team operates in the neighborhoods we’re in. Driving safely, especially on streets with kids, is something we emphasize with our crews.
Glad to hear it stood out, and thanks again for the kind words.

Ivy Co9 reviewsiTotal number of Google reviews Ivy has written across all businesses on Google Maps, not just this one.
During the summer, we had a large tree removed from our backyard and a fence put in so our dog would be free to roam. I obtained multiple quotes from various landscapers and ultimately went with JR. JR Landscaping was a pleasure to work with. They were very patient with us and came out multiple times to talk through the plan. I also felt like they were the best with their communication and very reasonably priced. It was our first project on our home; thus, we were very nervous to proceed and didn't know what to expect. However, Orlando was confident and answered all of our questions in a timely and professional manner. Throughout the project, I would check the work to make sure it was all to our liking. Orlando was great at making small adjustments and communicating to his team so we got exactly what we wanted -- the large tree removed, privets removed from our property line, retaining wall, the yard leveled, and a beautiful fence that our dog could not escape from. They constantly came back to make adjustments as needed and didn't just disappear after receiving payment. This spring, we are hoping to work with them again to add some shrubs for some privacy. But we are extremely happy with the work they have done and couldn't recommend them enough!
