I called the salon and clearly stated that I had kinky coily hair. I was extremely clear and that is why I called the salon and did not just make an appointment online. The receptionist I talked to reassured me that that was totally fine and the person doing my hair would be able to do it no issue. When I went in the gentleman who was going to do my hair was very honest and said that he didn’t feel comfortable doing my hair which I appreciated because I would’ve been much more upset if I left with damaged hair. But driving across the city after I clearly spoke to someone about my situation and told them what my hair looked like and was reassured it was no issue, then to go in and be told that you can’t service this type of hair is extremely frustrating. Not only time wasted but it just feels extremely invalidating.

Requested a simple haircut just to get rid of dead ends. I told Dimitri that layers in my (very straight and thin) hair always look choppy. He said he knew it wouldn't, but what do you know, it looks very choppy and unblended. Also cut my face framing way too short, so now it just looks bad. Very disappointed especially because it was very expensive.
Aaron at Kiss gave me the best blow out of my life! I booked with him for a wedding and honestly, my blowout still looks incredible 3 days later. I need whatever Turkish hairbrush he used! And the hair was was relaxing and incredible.

Nunzio is a magician! I came to him with hair problems (too bulky and frizzy, layers of my existing cut looked awkward), but without a clear idea of what I wanted my new style to look like. He led me through the decision process and gave me the most gorgeous haircut I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

In my opinion, only Julien Farel in New York can compare to her exceptional talent. No matter what your hair goals are, I highly recommend Claudia. Jean-Claude is incredibly talented, precise, and consistent. He has a real gift for color and always manages to create a natural, beautiful result that feels effortless and well-balanced. He’s also very attentive and really takes the time to understand what you want, which makes you feel completely confident in his hands.
