Chris and his team at L & B Auto are one of the best home-grown, Mom&Pop auto shops in town. I started going to L & B when the service contract at my dealer ended, and I honestly wish I went to Chris the whole time. They're just quick and honest. I've never been hit up for extra services when I didn't need them, and…
Went way out of the way to come here because of the great reviews and it was so worth it. I had dealt with a quite a few other mechanics before I got fed up and did some serious research on who the best, most honest mechanic was in NYC. Chris and L&B Auto kept popping up so I brought in two cars. He figured out…
The fact that it's in Brooklyn makes it even more outstanding. You won't find a more reasonably priced, and thorough mechanic, as well as a consummate gentleman who treats your car as his own. Thank you Chris!
The reviews didn’t lie. Chris is a great person and businessman. He runs an honest shop with a great crew. If you’re looking for a new go-to mechanic, this is a reliable pick.
Excellent, ultra‐reliable service. Highly recommend.
Genuinely a great spot. Great price that is quick and of high quality. There’s a cafe nearby you can go to for work while your car gets worked on. Also the owner is super dope and personable, highly recommend this spot 👍🏻
Chris is the real deal. Honest, hard working, and an all round gentleman. He’s been my mechanic for a few years now and I couldn’t recommend him enough - I’m moving out of state and will honestly be sad to say bye. They don’t make them like him anymore. Thanks Chris!
They were able to diagnose an issue my last mechanic couldn't, and solve it very inexpensively. Very easy to deal with as well.
Chris is literally The Best.
This is the only place we take our cars. Always helpful, very honest, great prices. We even called Chris for advice and recommendations when buying a new car.
I can’t recommend this shop enough! Chris was super helpful! Got my emissions test for my out of state registration and oil change in under 30 minutes. I will definitely come here again in the future.
chris and his staff are trustworthy and professional, highly recommend. i've been taking our cars there for about 18 years. thnks dew
Chris (manager/owner) was a nice fellow and seemed to know what he was doing. A few years later this requires an update. He's the best mechanic I've come across in NYC in terms of price and honesty. I added an extra star 3 years after the initial contact with him.
I can’t say enough good things about L&B Auto Repair and especially the owner, Chris. I originally found this shop through Reddit recommendations, and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I’ve made when it comes to car care in the city. We first spoke over the phone, and Chris immediately provided me with a…
Best auto repair in Brooklyn. Fast, honest and pleasant to deal with.
After my factory warranty expired on my BMW X3, I needed to find a liable auto shop to check my car and here I found a very good shop in my neighbor. Like others, I went there after reading lots of good reviews, and I can say the reviews are completely true and I received a great prompt service on electrical issues…
I gave them high quality oil and filter for my oil change because I prefer it over the cheap ones for my car… couple months later I’m getting another oil change and the filter was not the one I gave them it was a cheap one. Like they say never trust mechanics they responded oh must’ve been a mistake. Never going…
The best auto repair shop in the city! Chris and his team are affordable, knowledgeable, and efficient!!
It’s hard enough to find a good shop so when you find a great one, it’s like hitting the jackpot. Prices are fair, they’re responsive, workmanship is elite, and they go the extra mile. These guys fixed a dent in my bumper without me even asking! Name another shop that would do that for you. They’ll be getting all my business and referrals from now on.
They focus on ripping you off that's about it, never keep their promises after waiting for hours they told me they don't do oil change and inspection! Better don't waste your time there!
