I love La Petite Academy. My daughter has been going there since she was 2 years old. She loves it, she knows everyone and she’s learned so much. The staff is amazing, they are very friendly, respectful and kind. The school is always clean, just always a positive atmosphere.

I am extremely disappointed with the way things have been handled at the center regarding my child. It seems like the rules are constantly changing, and the expectations are inconsistent.
For example, I was recently approached about the type of shoes my child can wear, and then told he can no longer wear a onesie. On top of that, I was informed that my child is not drinking from an age-appropriate cup, even though he drinks from a sippy cup with a soft spout. When I explained this, the Director, Jasmine, stated that she had never heard of that type of cup, which was very concerning to me.
What makes this situation even more frustrating is that all of these issues were brought up in the same day after my child has been attending the center for months. It also happened right after I provided my notice to withdraw my child, which makes it feel targeted and unprofessional. The reasons I withdrew my child was because he was given different pacifiers, they lost his pacifiers, failed to feed him on time, failed to provide him something to drink with his lunch. At the new daycare I enrolled my child at the teacher there stated she used to work at this center 3 years ago and quit 2 days in because how unprofessional they are and especially Jasmine the director. That teacher said her daughter was enrolled at the center and the other teacher used to yell at her child in front of her.
When I tried to speak with the director about my concerns, her response was, “It seems like we can’t do nothing right,” which gave me the impression that she was not willing to help resolve anything. Instead of working with me as a parent, I felt dismissed. Also, a month ago the director Jasmine and I got into it because how rude she is telling me to wait until she finish talking like I’m a child.
Overall, I am disappointed with the lack of communication, consistency, and professionalism, and this has only confirmed my decision to remove my child from the center.
