From my first meeting with Nick to Josh installing a dimmer on our deck lights, our experience with them was a solid 5 star experience. These guys are very detail oriented. Their team that did the construction was spot on with everything. We have had roofing , siding, windows replaced. Lakeside Decking gave us a the best experience to date. I highly recommend these guys if you want the most professional and knowledgeable staff to build you the best deck possible. 5 ⭐️ Rating.

Lakeside review I waited approximately 30+ days to review Lakeside. Craftsmanship: A+. The crew building the new deck was meticulous and paid attention to the little details. Communication: A+. Lakeside clearly states their process in the beginning and actually does what they say they are going to do. From understanding our needs, having a productive design phase, showing images prior to order, group chats, and weekly surveys. Budget: A. High quality materials at a fair price. They are competitive with pricing and will not cut corners. You get what you pay for. Locally owned: A+. The owners live in MN Range of decks: As I understand it, they will build smaller decks to full outdoor kitchen deck build out. Follow-up: They show up if something doesn't seem right. I know I could text today and they would still have someone address something a few months later. Preface this to say, we had a similar project done on our last house in Maryland, so we have experience with builders doing this type of project. This project was a new porch where 2/3 of the porch was screened in, while the other was open air. I'm very happy to say that this project was better in every single aspect of how a project like this should go. First, the communication from the Lakeside team was outstanding. At every step of the project, we were informed and knew what to expect and when. If we had questions, we received a prompt response. Next, the timelines they gave us were actually met. In comparison, our last project took nearly 9 months longer than we were told. With Lakeside, the project was completed on schedule and without any major delays. The level of craftmanship was also above and beyond our expectations. The important part is that the crew that started the job was the same crew that came each day and until the project was finished for the core parts of the project. At the end of the day, our property was cleaned up and was not left a mess. A few times, we spotted a few minor items and they were quickly addressed or explained to us why something was done a certain way. The only items that were subcontracted out where the painters, and the owner, Josh, personally ensured the painting was completed at a high level. During the checkpoint walkthroughs with the Lakeside team, there were several times where they spotted a few things that we did not spot and they essentially made work for themselves to ensure we had a quality product at the end. Outside of the project itself, the sales team was excellent and were not high pressure whatsoever. Our options were clearly laid out for us with clear pricing for what the different options were. The software used to manage the project, view invoices, submit payments, etc was excellent. Overall, we are extremely happy that we chose Lakeside and cannot recommend them enough!!

Josh and his team at Lakeside Decking were great to work with! They were patient as we asked for changes in the design. The finished product is structurally solid and just what we hoped it would be. The deck is a compliment to our house and provides the privacy and ambiance we desired!

Excellent experience with Lakeside Decking! We vetted seven decking companies before going with them. Their ability to explain their process and hear our needs stood out from the start. This was followed with a great presentation and proposal with pricing that was competitive and adjustable to features we liked and didn’t like. Once the project started, the communication was tight with the project manager and owner. Halfway through the project, the original project manager left, but nothing changed with the communication with the new project manager and owner. If there were any mishaps they were prompt on fixing the issue. We are very happy with the final results. We had a large gathering one week after the project was finished and everyone was thoroughly impressed. When we bought this house we immediately knew we had to replace our old, rotting deck for our growing family and the investment we would make would be a long-term commitment. We are very happy we went with Lakeside Decking. We would recommend them to anyone in Minnesota looking to upgrade or add a deck.

Lakeside was easy to work. Our project was built during the winter and I was amazed at the long hours the crew worked in the cold. We've used the deck all summer and could not be more pleased with the results.

My mother and I met Josh at the James J. Hills Day parade. He had a show-stopping booth, which is why paused. Then we got to chatting with him. Super nice guy who told us how his business came to be, other places he had showcased their services, and he walked us through some of the cool work they had done and on-set items. Gorgeous, low-profile ceiling fan, remote-control pergola (so neat!), and the composite decking, which I inadvertently tested out by dropping a canned beverage on. The decking held up like a champ and the beverage simply washed away. Despite my clumsiness, the team allowed my senior citizen mother to stay and observe the parade from their comfy, composite Adirondack chairs. My mom and I liked Josh, the quality of the products on display, and the great work done from their previous jobs. We left wishing we had decks to remodel...

Just finished with our new boathouse deck. Was very impressed with Lakeside Decking from start to finish. The project was not an easy one but they developed a plan and build a deck that will last. Thanks, Lakeside!

Lakeside Decking rebuilt and upgraded our backyard deck overlooking a pool area. Design was important to tie into the house and landscaping areas. Josh was very helpful starting the process with overall design and quality components. The project team was very helpful and always willing to ensure quality and doing it right. Highly recommend for a transparent process and a quality result. Very professional approach.
