Though I've spoken to the same representative 3 times everytime they have promised a followup, Scheduling or sending over a qoute I have to constantly call them. 2026 review: updating my review. I reached out to Lead Safe to renew my lead inspection after 4 years and had a completely different experience. Very disappointed because even the phone operator couldn’t get a hold of her. Wasted my time and delayed my license renewal even further. Not sure if the owners changed or what’s going on, but this was extremely disappointing because I expected better based on my previous experience. 2022 5-star review: I am extremely impressed with JR and his team. I was in immediate need for a lead inspection for 6 of my properties. JR was so helpful in understanding the process, pricing, and even brought over 2 technicians to quickly finish the job the next day. I appreciated their follow up and responsiveness. Way to go guys!

This is the 2nd time in 4 years I’ve used them. Same properties. One of the three properties returned a false positive in one floor area despite having tested lead safe 4 years ago. Here is what all landlords should know about lead testing and how Lead Safe Technicians should be better trained to provide clients with a superior service. The swabs of each area you are testing are sensitive to the slightest lead particulate so if you walk in from the street and step on the floor you’re testing and you have anything on your shoes your results are compromised. Here is my assessment of them. Pros: -responsive -easy to set up appointments -easy paywall Cons: -they need to prepare the site carefully by wiping down each area with a solution to ensure no false positives are returned. At the very least instruct homeowners to do so. —I had 3 properties and was charged 3 deposits which were not credited which they did reverse when I pointed it out to them -they charge you the credit card processing fee if you don’t use Zelle -the test return was greater than 5-7 business days. They need to get the samples to the lab faster. Based on lab reports there is a 4 day lag between sample date and sent to lab then another 4 days at the lab for the test results. They could cut turnaround time in half by getting it to the lab more quickly. -they charge to come out again (albeit 50% of first charge) and of course the test came back clear the second time around. I don’t know that you’d have a better experience with another company I just know that I wish this company would have prepped the site better or provided a free return visit instead of charging for the second go around. Perhaps wishful thinking on my part.

This is not a company where I would want to do continued business with. Not to mention i jad testing done 2 years prior and they did not have the accurate information listed on the paperwork. So you charged someone services but do not know exactly what unit was testing? Im concerned about sending reports to labs if thats even accurate.
