I have lived in my current home for 26 years and have owned a few prior, in this time I have never had an HVAC company with such integrity and concern for a customer. Our technician, Ideal, was very helpful and kind! I would definitely recommend this business!
I contacted Local Roots AC & Plumbing for a second opinion, and I'm very glad I did. John A. was prompt, professional, and incredibly thorough from the moment he arrived. What impressed me most was his honesty. It's one thing to pay for a repair that truly needs to be done, but it's another to know you're working…
Imagine this, it's 5 PM on a Monday night the first week back to school for you kids, you get a phone call from your wife telling you there's a leak coming from the driveway water valve and it's running under the concrete slab of the driveway. We regularly service our air conditioning system with Local Roots, so I…
I am a small business in health care and Dave’s team and service were very prompt to attend to our emergency. Also the staff was very courteous to our staff. They are super good at diagnostics and repair without trying to upsale any product. 5 star review for sure.
Without this company we’d be sol! Boy am I glad to have Local roots. Chris the owner knows this biz better than anyone, and he knows how to hire. Literally every person that has come to my house has been knowledgeable, honest, and a great chat. Darren, and his partner today both deserve 100 dollar bonuses in my…

I came out to maintenance the AC. He was on time, professional, and honest. He explained each step and why he was doing what he was doing and how the system worked. Ideal explained the maintenance program, the options offered & the benefits of doing a maintenance program with no pressure. I highly recommend Local Roots!
We had Josh for A/C maintenance and Mathew for plumbing issues out and were very pleased. We found Local Roots with high recommendations from Next door and did not disappoint. They were on time, professional and kept us informed through every step. They are a small local business and you don’t get the runaround and…
My air conditioner went out on a Saturday afternoon on a 105 degree day. Dave with Local Roots arrived within an hour and fixed the problem in the next hour! He was knowledgeable and clearly cared about the quality of the work. I thought I’d be without A/C for the weekend and I’m astonished and grateful that it was fixed so quickly.
We have a maintenance program with Local Roots to keep our units running efficiently. Today John Areikat was our tech and as always very professional, thorough, and friendly. He explained everything that was done, had photos of all the work that was done and made us feel very secure in the maintenance of our heating and cooling systems

Have been a customer of Local Roots ( previously Hays) for the past 18 years . I trust their team with all of the mechanical in my house , from tankless water heater to soft water system to all plumbing and AC ( They have now replaced all 3 of our units after keeping the old ones alive for many years). Their office…
Highly recommend. We sought them out for a second opinion after a competitor gave us a very high quote. The technician, David Holland, quickly diagnosed the issue, solved it on the spot for a very small fee. Saved us thousands! This firm earned our trust and operates with integrity.
This company is really great! Never heard of them before, but got some personal recommendations & wanted to try them (since my previous, big name companies were major disappointments). No upselling (which I REALLY appreciated) and wonderful work, in both plumbing (Matthew) and HVAC (Ideal) repairs. Both techs knew…
Ideal and John did a very thorough and professional job with our HVAC system. They truly went above and beyond. I’m very happy and highly recommend this company.
I turned my AC on because it got hot for the first time in a while and no cold air came out so I looked around for a good service that would be able to get me up and running fast without a bunch of games and high pressure tactics. I saw these guys and their great reviews and decided to give them a shot. I was not…

Matthew at Local Roots AC & Plumbing did a complimentary plumbing check. His customer service, knowledge and full plumbing check inside and outside was impressive. Local Roots AC and Plumbing has an experienced crew and knows the importance of Customer Service.
Local Roots sent a very knowledgeable technician, Ideal Nebija, to perform seasonal maintenance. Ideal did a great job with system checkout and explained in detail the recommended services and their purpose. I am familiar with the owners of the company and trust the work they perform. I will use them in the future.
Another company had come out a few months ago and quoted me to recharge my systems, install surge protectors, replace my caps, and install drain line shut off switches. I had a feeling their prices were high so I gave Local Roots a call. David was professional and courteous. He explained everything he thought was…

Living in Arizona, finding a reliable air conditioning and plumbing service is crucial. Local Roots stands out for its exceptional customer support, high-quality service, reasonable rates, and incredibly quick response times compared to any other company I’ve worked with. We were unhappy with the service done by the company (Service Experts) who acquired Hays and felt there was a large drop-off in quality and trustworthiness. A family member recommended Local Roots and we are glad to have made the switch. Our tech, Nolan Crowe, did a thorough job in explaining and completing the…
Thank you Ideal!! Amazing service!!
Dave and Ideal were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and thorough. We have 7 HVAC units 4 swamp coolers and everything was professionally serviced in one day. Hands down, this is the right company for your HVAC needs. In addition, their plumber Colton was out to flush the water heaters today. Local Roots is truly a one stop shop you can trust.
We have always appreciated Ideal’s work. Knowing that he was working for Call Local Roots is one of the reasons we switched to Chris Hayes new company. Always found Ideal to be expert in the systems, collegial, and extremely helpful.
Great communication and customer service. I highly recommend.
Just had a great experience with Nolan and Local Roots AC and Plumbing. This is a family business with an evident focus on quality and integrity. I had been a committed customer to Hays since we had moved to this neighborhood in 2015. I was upset to learn that their business was sold and have had a number of…
Great Job cleaning, and making sure system was running properly. Ideal was professional and very knowledgeable. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!
We just had Local Roots to our house for a maintenance appointment. Our tech. Ideal, was great. He took his time to clean everything and showed us the before and after pics. Most importantly, he didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need. We will be changing our service contract to Local Roots.
One of our units was blowing warm when we woke up on a 100+ degree Sunday morning and figured we were out of luck until at least Monday.
