Jon Bozgo1 reviewiTotal number of Google reviews Jon has written across all businesses on Google Maps, not just this one.
They installed a garage door opener at my house about 18 months ago and last week the metal holding up the opener broke on 1 side and barely hanging on the other side half cracked. The opener almost fell in my head
So I called these guys and they told me that they use the old metal mounts from the previous opener from when the house was built in 1984. What a joke. Unbelievable that you would pay them for a new opener and they tell you with a straight face that they use the old metal mounts so it’s not their problem
They wanted 150$ to come fix it. Jokers
So I had to tie some strings on it till I can fix it myself. I would stay away from this company. There are better options out there.
Response from the owner · 4 months ago
Hi Jon, we’re sorry to hear you were frustrated with your experience.
After reviewing the photos you posted, it does appear that new angle/support material was installed with your opener. Unfortunately, because that detail was not listed separately on the original invoice, our office initially gave you incorrect information when you called. That was an honest mistake, and we apologize for the confusion.
When you called in, our receptionist placed you on a brief hold so a manager could speak with you directly, but the call disconnected before that conversation could happen. Our manager called you back within a few minutes, but the call ended again before we were able to fully discuss the situation. A few days later, we also left you a voicemail offering to come out at no charge to inspect and address the issue for you.
While the installation was completed approximately 18 months ago, and hardware failures can unfortunately happen over time, we still wanted the opportunity to make this right and take care of it for you. That offer still stands. Please contact our office so we can schedule a time to come out, inspect the opener support, and resolve the issue.
We take safety and customer service seriously, and we would appreciate the opportunity to correct this matter directly.
Thank you,
Mammoth Door & Construction
