Professional, approachable and courteous! The crew did a wonderful job!

Once again Marquis provided a skilled crew, who took down three trees, shredded parts and stacked and carted away big trunk sections and thoroughly cleaned up the yard. This is difficult, hazardous work; we are privileged to have such excellent people working in our area.

Absolutely awesome service cutting down and removing our 100+ year old maple that was partially collapsed due to internal rot and entangled with live power lines on 24 hour notice as we departed same day for a two week vacation trip.

We had a gigantic, ancient copper beech removed (72" DBH) for a very reasonable price and within a single day. Would use again if needed.

Marquis did an exceptional job of removing 6 very large white pine trees this week, 3 in the front yard and 3 in the back yard (that were leaning towards our house). It was an amazing thing to watch two massive trees being cut down and nothing was damaged nor was anyone hurt. They even saved all the wood for a friend of mine to cut up the next day. I highly recommned Marquis Tree Service.

knowledgable and professional team, did what said and more. Prompt. Clean uop was great.

We used them for a condo on our property. Overall great experience!

A+ as always. On time, professional and quality work

Great service. They have the right equipment to do the job. We have used their services several times. Highly recommend their service.

I contacted 4 companies for quotes for tree removal, that included a lot of obstacles (wires, septic tank, uneven grade, massive rocks). Marquis was the best quote for not only the cost, but the time it would take to complete the project. They did a fantastic job- from start to finish. Cleaned up after each tree,… Read full review

The team were extremely professional and organized. David was great from start to finish. I highly recommend.

One of the best contractor experiences we have ever had! Fast response, clear communication, professional & patient with questions. Literally left the job site cleaner than when they started. Will definitely be our 1st call for future work.

After 2 days our property looks so much better and we are confident that we are not going to have a huge pine branch fall on our car, our house, or our grandchildren. John Marquis spent a lot of time with us assessing what needed to be done. His crew is efficient and hard working - and very pleasant.

Prompt, professional and good value.

Equipment and personnel are the best. Great communications from the beginning. Maybe smaller operators good for small jobs. For big jobs fantastic, responsive and thorough.

Twice we have had Marquis Tree of Billerica do work for us. First time was emergency removal of tree from roof of house. Second time, in March 2023, was to remove some huge pines, close to house, to avoid future issues. Our experience both times was fabulous. John Marquis did scope of work and estimate and was super… Read full review

These guys did a great job; I had a large branch that snapped from an oak hung up in a pine next to it , was a safety issue and could’ve hurt someone if it fell, not to mention possibly destroying a wooden fence adjacent to the trees. They made a fast appointment, came out and took care of it . The crew was friendly… Read full review

This company is fantastic I highly recommend them. Left the job site clean as a whistle.

Very professional and responsible. So clean you can’t tell they were here.

They offered me a competitive price and the work was done very fast, the guys were all extremely polite and job site was left cleaner then when they arrived. Still waiting on the stump grinding but I am not expecting anything less.

Great job removing 5 extra-tall trees! Everyone was nice and professional. Top-notch equipment and careful, safe work on a tough site. They even rushed the removal of the large logs given my house is the corner bus stop! Thanks!

I choose Marquis for all my tree management needs. Experts on New England tree species, Marquis crews arrive on time with modern equipment, do the job with the highest attention to safety and efficiency, and leave few traces when they leave. They treat my property like their own and their price is very fair and competitive.

Have used Marquis for many years now....our preferred tree service provider. They have always been super easy to work with and professional and very competitively priced. Had 4 large trees (2 pines and 2 oaks) removed very close to the street. Start to finish, I was thrilled with the process. The crew they sent out were professional and highly skilled (it was like watching acrobats at a circus). The equipment was well maintained and top of the line. They were in and out in just… Read full review

We needed 8 trees taken down & removed from our property and Marquis Tree Service gave us a great price & promptly had it scheduled to be done. The crew was fantastic and got the job done in less than 4 hours! After they left you couldn't even tell they had been here, the cleanup was that good! I highly recommend Marquis Tree Service.

Very professional. Getting the estimate for a variety of services (tree removal, pruning) was easy, I received it promptly, and it included in a detailed manner everything discussed. The crew that came was well-equipped, professional, and delivered excellent quality work. When there was any issue (e.g., how to get… Read full review

Very professional and dependable from beginning to end! Very impressed and would highly recommend their service.

They were so efficient they were able to remove more trees than we ever thought possible in one day. At the same time they were very careful with our yard and cleaned up well afterwards. They were thoughtful in making suggestions for what to remove and went above and beyond what we expected.

Marquis Tree took down a massive pine tree at my house on the coldest and windiest day of the year. The crew was on time came up with a plan and took this tree down with such precision it was impressive to watch! Would not hesitate to recommend them for any type of tree removal!

Marquis removed a very large white oak that had become hazardous to my house and a neighbors. They also trimmed two other trees. They did a very professional job removing the trees and limbs and cleaned up the debris. I would use them again and recommend them to friends.

This was the fourth time I’ve used Marquis Tree Service for tree removal. I had two 70 foot oak trees removed from my back yard. The crew arrived on time and they were very friendly and courteous. This particular job was extra challenging due to tree location on my property and required crane positioning for optimal… Read full review

John and his team are always super professional. They showed up yesterday and in 90 minutes had removed 3 large trees and cleaned up so thoroughly you couldn't tell they had even been here. I highly recommend Marquis Tree Service. I've been using them for many years now.

The crews are very nice and professional. They cleanup the yard. The price is reasonable. I will recommend their service.

super efficient. Great job guys!

Has to get a number of dead and dying trees removed. Great experience. Thry gave an honest recommendation of what needed to come out, clear pricing, fast scheduling and completed it safety and quickly. Will definitely use them again.

I had down Tree early morning around 4 and I called Marquis and left a message, with in an hour David called me and he showed up around 7:30 and removed the tree.. He is very friendly, I recommend him very high

Marquis removed a very large white pine with multiple leaders. The crane operator did an excellent job of carefully removing each of the leaders so that there was no damage to other trees.

We have used Marquis several times over the last 5 years for selective tree removal on a wooded lot. It's a great deal in the winter to have the crew on site for the entire day (or more). The crew works very efficiently to maximize work during the day and does an amazing job cleaning after so that you hardly know… Read full review

Marquis Tree Service is simply AMAZING! Yes, they are very professional and work as such a team that knows each others next action. We had multiple service companies come out to look at our our project. And because of the complexity, distance to access the trees and share size four out of five companies walked away,… Read full review

Marquis was professional and efficient. The communication was excellent in keeping informed about scheduling and weather. Ashley was excellent in keeping me informed and available. Overall a good experience taking down our large old Ash tree.

What a team! The on-site team setup and worked for three days removing trees over 150’ tall. Everything went exceptionally well! I wouldn’t use anyone else for this type of work.

A tree limb fell on our car during the recent storm. Despite the weather, the high demand (many trees down because of the storm), and being understaffed (it was the Christmas weekend), the team came out that evening and cleared away the limb.

Dead tree had fallen down and was leaning against branches of neighboring trees - was going to hit a power line if going down all the way. Have used Marquis in the past for tree removal, pruning and stump grinding so called them again. They were able to come out within a couple days, did a quick and great job on… Read full review

They were on time, very responsive to a couple of my concerns, very polite, neat, and just very nice people. They cleaned up everything. They had a couple of tree trunks that they said they would move in a few days, at most, and they removed them the next morning. When I came out to say hello they quickly asked… Read full review
