Marquis Tree Service

We’ve used Marquis several times. They do excellent work for a fair price. I trust John to evaluate our trees and come up with the best course of action.2026 update John recently got some new equipment that allowed his team to take down a damaged tree in a particularly hard to get to spot. I couldn’t be happier.

Marquis is truly best in class — professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly good at what they do. Beyond the quality of their work, they are simply great people who care about their customers, their employees, and doing things the right way. Their experience and attention to detail show from start to… Read full review

Marquis did an exceptional job of removing 6 very large white pine trees this week, 3 in the front yard and 3 in the back yard (that were leaning towards our house). We chose Marquis to handle this delicate operation and we were not dissappointed. And the did a great job of cleaning up as well. I would highly recommend Marguis Tree Service!

Removed a giant Oak tree and a couple of large branches from another tree. Crew did a great job, cleaned up after they were done. Crane operator was excellent. They removed the tree trunk wood from our property the next business day. Stump grinding was done a couple of days later. All work was done on schedule and done well.

I want to say that these guys are the best. They have fair pricing, they leave your yard completely cleaned up. They arrive on time and very kind and friendly. They are the best. They did stump grinding and we had about 7 dead or disease trees removed. We are also using them for pruning and ferilizing another tree in October.

The Marquis team was a marvel - such skill and speed. We had 8 trees taken down in a rather cramped area of our yard. This posed no problems to this crew. We also appreciate that every every effort was taken to leave the sight clean. We would definitely recommend them for similar jobs.

Had 4 red oaks removed. Watched as they quickly and safely removed the trees. What impressed me the most was there attention to detail. From setup to cleanup they worked as a team that has pride in their workmanship . Cleanup was amazing. Not a twig or leaf left on the lawn or the street. Cleaned not only my… Read full review

Marquis Tree did a wonderful job on our two tree removals. The arborist who came to quote, Devin, did an excellent presentation, and answered all my questions even before I thought of them. I had a quote before he left the premises. I called three companies for estimates. Marquis was the first to schedule the… Read full review

Outstanding work. Professional and personable employees. On time, careful pruning and tree removal.

I hired Marquis Tree Service to remove several trees and prune/thin some very tall trees on my property. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating from start to finish. During the first visit, the crew did not complete the tree pruning and thinning work that I had paid for, yet I was still charged in full. After… Read full review

Alex at Marquis came out and gave an honest and rationalized explanation of what could be done for a diseased tree, as well as highlighting a minor issue with a separate tree. The team that came out to do the work were efficient, respectful of our time and neighbors and cleaned up perfectly. I couldn't have been more impressed!

I was very impressed by how clean and meticulous the team was in removing all debris from the property and street.

The crew from Marquis Tree service were fantastic. David who ran the crane introduced himself and asked a few questions about my yard. He told me they would get the game plan going and start work removing three large trees. They cut down all the trees and didn't leave any debris. Very professional and I already recommended them to two of my friends.

They were prompt and explained exactly what their plan was to complete the job.and cleaned up after themselves like they were never there.👍👍picture below is after and before

Three large dead/dying maples removed by an extremely professional crew using a crane in tight space beside my condo. Clearly well trained on safety. Very clean job. Highly recommended.

These guys are literally still in my driveway packing up. That's how excited/happy I am to write this review. Outstanding work from this company. Estimate and assessment of job done in a timely manner. Despite difficulty accessing an oak tree they worked diligently and were able to maneuver some of their very big equipment to gain access. Professional, attentive and responsive. We would highly recommend them.

Just had a large tree removed from our property yesterday. From the estimate with Scott, the crew that showed up to remove the tree and Ashley in the office, they were very professional and friendly, came when they said they would, answered all my questions, etc. I will be using Marquis again for any future tree services. Highly recommend.

I hired Marquis to remove a tree and grind the stump. They removed the tree Thursday. They exceeded my expectations by far. I would recommend Marquis without hesitation. Gino

I have been a repeat customer of Marquis for several years. They are always on time, professional, and competitively priced.

I have used Marquis Tree service for years; huge jobs (multiple tree removals) and smaller jobs; brush and stump grinding and pruning of three huge Linden trees. Every time they were on time and professional. Did exactly what I wanted. Staff is always friendly and courteous.

This company is fantastic I highly recommend them. Left the job site clean as a whistle.

They offered me a competitive price and the work was done very fast, the guys were all extremely polite and job site was left cleaner then when they arrived. Still waiting on the stump grinding but I am not expecting anything less.

I choose Marquis for all my tree management needs. Experts on New England tree species, Marquis crews arrive on time with modern equipment, do the job with the highest attention to safety and efficiency, and leave few traces when they leave. They treat my property like their own and their price is very fair and competitive.
