Marquis Tree Service

Marquis Tree Service did a great job at my home. They trimmed an 80 Ft Pine tree and shaped two ornamental trees. Very happy with the work. They also did a through clean up.

Marquis has been responsive, reliable, and pleasant. They educated me about tree diseases and took care of an infestation; they also did a neat job trimming some trees.

The crew came and did a great job for me, cleaned up the yard left it as they weren't there.

Best tree service around! Prices are fair, worker’s are great (on time, professional and neat) & office is prompt when answering questions / logistics. I’ll continue to use them (we have a lot of trees! 🌳 ) for all our tree 🌲 jobs. Thanks again! 🌴 -Liz

An arborist from Marquis came out to our house to give us an estimate, and took a variety of photos of the trees we needed pruned. He marked up the photos to show us where the pruning would occur, and we had a crew out here the following week. The team was incredible--they were all thoughtful and articulate, and… Read full review

Excellent. Major pruning of oak trees. Dead wood and light enhancement. Serious heights. Well done and balanced. Plus, extremely neat with work and protected grass. Delight to work with.

We’ve used Marquis several times. They do excellent work for a fair price. I trust John to evaluate our trees and come up with the best course of action.2026 update John recently got some new equipment that allowed his team to take down a damaged tree in a particularly hard to get to spot. I couldn’t be happier.

I have used Arborcare for many years and always been satisfied with their work. They are under new ownership now, and they are also doing an excellent job. After the big storm, a large branch had fallen on our front yard and they were able to come within an hour of my phone call and cut it and took away all the… Read full review

Very experienced team, and took extra care from my instructors. I will call again anytime and definitely refer anyone needs trees and bushes trimmed! Clean up was perfect, very professional!

Very quick response and estimate. Got the trees trimmed quickly and did a great job. Thank you!

We were very pleased with the services of Marquis Tree Service from start to finish and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Every employee we had contact with was pleasant and responsive. The work was completed promptly and the crew cleaned up thoroughly.

Removed a giant Oak tree and a couple of large branches from another tree. Crew did a great job, cleaned up after they were done. Crane operator was excellent. They removed the tree trunk wood from our property the next business day. Stump grinding was done a couple of days later. All work was done on schedule and done well.

I had 20 foot hedges that surround my property trimmed as well as low hanging tree branches cut. I love the work they do. Very professional and courteous and I’m very happy with the outcome.

The crew arrived on time and did exactly what was requested. They left the yard spotless.

For the second time in 10 years, Marquis Tree has done an excellent job of trimming our trees, removing dead branches, and shaping every tree. We are 100% satisfied. Thank you Marquis team.

Excellent communication and professional service from start to finish. Thank You. JD

It was easy to make an estimate appointment and the service was scheduled efficiently. We found the price we paid was commensurate with the services provided. They showed up on time and cleaned up thoroughly.

Professional service throughout the process from diagnosis/quote to delivery to support from the office. Every company should operate at this level!!

I want to say that these guys are the best. They have fair pricing, they leave your yard completely cleaned up. They arrive on time and very kind and friendly. They are the best. They did stump grinding and we had about 7 dead or disease trees removed. We are also using them for pruning and ferilizing another tree in October.

Efficient, pleasant, reasonably priced. Well run operation.

I hired Marquis to trim back tree branches over hanging my roof & remove a dead tree. I was 100% pleased with them. The workers were friendly, informative, & hard working. My yard was left pristine. With the contract they gave me documentation of liability insurance, and of workman’s comp insurance. I’ve used… Read full review

Technicians were friendly, taught me about rare trees on my own property, and ensured everything was cleaned up nicely when they left.

Great service all around! We needed a tree in front of our house trimmed/pruned. Marquis got someone sent to the house quickly and the team who performed the work did a very thorough and careful job. They really care about trees and doing the job correctly, which we really appreciated. We would definitely use again!

The Marquis team was a marvel - such skill and speed. We had 8 trees taken down in a rather cramped area of our yard. This posed no problems to this crew. We also appreciate that every every effort was taken to leave the sight clean. We would definitely recommend them for similar jobs.

Great work at a fair price, zero issues, and good communication. Will use again.

Total professionals - communicative throughout the process. Did an excellent job and cleaned up wonderfully. Pricing was competitive. Highly recommend.

Well organized, prompt, efficient, “job well done” company. Have used them several times and highly recommend .

Marquis has been tending my trees for twenty five years. When a tree gets too large, or becomes unsafe, they are my go-to solution. The crews are careful, safe, and knowledgeable.

I woukd give them 10 stars, but it wasnt an optikn. If you need any tree work call them! They cared about my issues and my tree as much as we do. True professional, caring, considerate gentlemen. A pleasure to have worked with them, dont bother with anyone, give them a call you won't regret it.

The team from Marquis Tree was excellent! They were courteous, professional and efficient. We appreciated the estimate that included pictures of exactly which limbs would be pruned. The work crew left the site completely free of any debris and reviewed the job with us before and after completion. We would highly recommend them for any tree work!

Marquis trimmed branches from tree limbs in our backyard, that was on our neighbors tree but hung in our yard and they trimmed a couple of pieces of wood from our tree on our neighbors side.

Timely in terms of giving estimate, fair prices, courteous and professional workers, and don't leave any traces - immaculate clean up after.

I have used Marquis twice now for two different homes and also recommended them to family for their work. Excellent and clear communication from beginning to end, service has been consistently prompt and of high quality. Crews do a great job not only on the tree work itself but also on post-job cleanup.

I found Marquis Tree Service by searching Google and read their positive reviews. Seeing their signs in the area, I figured they were a reputable company and I was right! Alex was able to come for an estimate quickly. Pricing was fair and reasonable for the work I wanted (pruning back a large Japanese maple, pear… Read full review

We had several trees pruned. The work was excellent and done as promised. Very pleased with the result.

Performed services as outlined in a professional fashion. I have used Marquis in the past for large tree removal and stump grinding.

The crew went above and beyond the call of duty.

Outstanding work. Professional and personable employees. On time, careful pruning and tree removal.

Justin and Alex from Marquis thinned out a very large Norway maple for us on Friday July 10th. They took out a large amount of branches relieving a lot of stress from weight on the tree but doing it in away that left the tree looking great!

I've used Marquis Trees several times over the years for storm clean up and tree work. They don't try to talk you into work that isn't needed and they always do a great job and goes above and beyond to complete the job and clean up afterwards. Most recently they gave me a quote in the early morning, I accepted and… Read full review

I recommend Marquis Tree Service without any reservations. From the start, Alex was fantastic at helping me plan the project, providing great suggestions for removing one of the trunks and cleaning up the rest of the tree. His proposal was fairly priced. The crew came on time did a fabulous job and everything was cleaned up before they left. I was so impressed. I would recommend them to all my family if and when they need trees trimmed or removed thank you guys so much. You did a wonderful job.

I'm so disappointed with this highly-rated company. The proposal was for pruning a large Mulberry tree. The workman came out, did a great job on my next door neighbor's tree, did two side jobs for cash for the guy next door, then cut a few limbs on my tree and left. NUMEROUS branches were left untouched, even some… Read full review

John Marquis provides a detailed and clear quotation (with pictures), conveniently (by email), and promptly (within a day). The scheduled work was started on time, and cleanup was thorough. This is the second time that I have used Marquis in the last eleven years.

Team from Marquis Tree did a great job working on huge silver maple in back yard. Carefully took off a large limb that needed to be removed as well as taking care of the dead wood on the tree. Also nicely pruned 2 linden trees. Appreciated the clean up of entire area!

The crew that came out was outstanding! We walked the property to confirm all the work needed prior to beginning. The crew did a great job and cleaned up all the debris. Highly recommend Marquis Tree!

They did a great job on time no mess the guys couldn’t have been nicer

Excellent service all around! We needed some pretty extensive work - 7 trees removed plus some pruning. The front office was quick to respond and set up an estimate, and the quote came in well below our expectations. David and his crew got through the whole job in just a few hours with zero disturbance, and didn’t… Read full review

I hired Marquis Tree Service to remove several trees and prune/thin some very tall trees on my property. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating from start to finish. Excellent job done by the crew. They took down a few trees as well as branches.

Marquis did a great job in removing one of my trees and trimming several overhanging trees. They are very professional. The great plus is that they are very knowledgable about trees and provided great suggestion on which trees need to be removed/pruned. They are not blindly suggesting to cut any healthy trees.

Marquis Tree Service people are top notch. Scott came by to provide me with a quote for a tree leaning against my shelterlogic shed and he pulled out a saw and got it off my shed no charge. What an amazing company. I suggest anyone needing tree work call these folks. They are beyond good customer service. They are awesome neighbors

They did exactly what they said plus a bunch more. Very responsive, polite and helpful and cleaned up after. Such nice guys, they even took my shovel away from me and shoveled my walk for me! Will definitely use them again.

Feb 2026. The Marquis team did a wonderful job on trimming my large Silver Maple and a large Japanese maple. Alex had a detailed explanation of the work on the quote/invoice. Watching them work was a real treat; such skilled tree workers. I had squirrel holes and rot inside some large branches; not any more! My… Read full review

Great team of workers! Justin and Kyle and AJ were fun, polite, diligent ,consistant hard workers. They covered everything on the list professionally and did more than was asked. Highly recommended! Monica Kent

Honestly goes a long way for me. I called Marquis about a tree I thought needed to be taken down. They could have easily oversold me on the tree removal, but instead I was assured the tree was healthy and there was no need to take it down. I then asked about pruning a tree and they agreed that tree did need it. I… Read full review

Work was done at the agreed-on time, very carefully and with excellent results and with an admirable desire for my feedback along the way as well as at the end. I came away with a very positive impression of Marquis Tree Service. I expect that the job could have been done at a lower cost, but perhaps not at the… Read full review

The team that did our amazing pruning and, I think amazing... for it's invisible to me... cabling, is the most responsive and collaborative tree team I remember in all our too many years of tree service. The office and tree evaluation staff are quite perfect as well!

ARRIVED ON TIME, PROFESSIONAL DEMEANOR, REVIEWED THE SCHEDULED WORK AND PERFORMED THE WORK, REMOVED ALL MATERIAL.

Marquis Tree Service brings to mind certain modifiers: Professional, Efficient, Competent, Reasonable Pricing, Clean, On Time. Nice to see a crew that had all the equipment they needed for the job and for protection, and who worked enthusiastically to get the job done in a very short time.

Fantastic service - would highly recommend!!

Great experience working with this company. Office was friendly and helpful. On-site crew was courteous and made sure trees were trimmed to my satisfaction. Very well done.

Alex at Marquis came out and gave an honest and rationalized explanation of what could be done for a diseased tree, as well as highlighting a minor issue with a separate tree. The team that came out to do the work were efficient, respectful of our time and neighbors and cleaned up perfectly. I couldn't have been more impressed!

Marquis Tree came out promptly, listened carefully to the scope of trimming we needed (trimming back from over the house, driveway and electric service line) and provided us an estimate on the spot. We were able to schedule the work in a reasonable time, and Marquis updated us as the day approached. The crew showed… Read full review
