I have had the pleasure of having had two massage sessions with Emily in the Annapolis location of Meadow Hill Wellness, and that will definitely continue. Emily is amazing....not only as an outstanding massage therapist, but as a kind, wonderful, insightful woman. I look forward to future sessions with her. Why? There are layers of reasons. Being a senior, I sometimes feel a little concerned when starting a new health program as there are usually a lot of younger people attending. Emily made me feel comfortable at first sight, and she was attentive to our conversation while expertly planning a personalized program for me. Guess what? It's working already!! I can feel myself breathing differently, holding my head, shoulders, and my whole body differently. Emily explains everything she does (and is planning to do) to help me, and that goes a long way. I will continue to put my health in Emily's hands, literally!

I can't recommend Megan Echard at Meadow Hill Wellness enough. I have been seeing her regularly for acupuncture since last year. From the very first appointment, she made me feel completely at ease. She's kind, patient, and has a great sense of humor, which makes a big difference when you're lying there trying to explain a weird pain and can't quite get your thoughts in order.
I'm a super curious person, and Megan is extremely patient with me when I want to learn about why she's using specific points or techniques. She explains what she's doing and why, so you never feel like you're just along for the ride. If I come in with something specific or a little unusual, she'll actually go do research and bring new techniques to try.
She's also genuinely open to feedback, and adjusts based on what I tell her is or isn't working. And when I come back and tell her something helped, her happiness for me is completely genuine. It's clear she actually cares about the outcome, not just the appointment.
If you're looking for an acupuncturist who's skilled, thoughtful, and treats you like a whole person, Megan is the one to see.

Sara and Monique bring such deep knowledge of what women experience in midlife, grounded in both their studies and their own lived experience they’re always so open to sharing. They are dedicated to being part of your care team, and are always willing to (with permission) talk to your doctors or personal trainers to collaborate on your best care. It's created a space where I've felt safe to get vulnerable, and where I've learned so much about how to truly advocate for myself and take ownership of my health and well-being.
