Mendo Motorz & Transmissions

I have been through too many mechanics in my 40 years of vehicle ownership and I can say with absolute confidence that Mendo is the best. Earnest is always transparent and fair and I trust what he says needs to be done to get my vehicles back to safe and reliable service!

They are great here. After my Warrenty denied my claim for a truck I bought less then 30 days before, they worked with me to get all the repairs done for the lifter that had failed and cam shaft that needed to be replaced. They gave honest advice on what needed to be done, and never tried to upsale me on anything.… Read full review

Ernest has always been taking good care of my and my family and friends vehicles like it's his own. Very honest man and will never rip you off like other shops. I usually don't leave any reviews but the honesty and professionalism that I always received from Ernest made me write this review for him and his shop. I… Read full review

Great service with warranty 👍

Mendo Motorz most certainly feels like family. They fixed my brakes up quick, and gave an honest helpful assessment and never once did I feel taken advantage of. Dare say I trust em. I LOVE the vending machines 🤩 It’s a great place to spend a couple minutes where good people are doing good work, for you 🫶

We’ve used this mechanic twice now and have nothing but a positive experience. We feel like they were honest, thorough, and very professional. Both of our vehicles run great now.

I came to the shop and told him that I was having problems with break fluid, leaking, they took it and pulled it up and looked at it and found out that my caliper rubber seal was broke. That's why it was leaking. So I was there , maybe two hours , they got it fixed , and I was out the door they're awesome , and I would recommend them to anybody

Booo I guess my last review never posted. Just gotta say these guys are great, tell me what I needed to get done and to care of it. Very professional! Very efficient! Definitely recommend.

Excellent communication. Logical diagnosis capabilities on a 26 year old caddy. This is not just a oil change, brake type place. But there is a crew of well experienced mechanics. Well documented work and pricing. Best shop in San Antonio. Will use again.

Great service! Recommend to everyone. The team took great care of me and my concerns.

I love them! Especially Ernest - so kind, patient, and helps you understand , from start to finish. They do greatttt work- I will never allow anyone else to touch my carzzzz… Ty so much

Guys at Mendo Motorz are quick to inspect any issues n fix my vehicles, even when I show up unannounced! They are honest and reasonable and now open on Sundays! 😉

I remember the names Ernest and Kevin. Very professional costumer service and excellent job on my truck they work under my budget and I’m very satisfied with the job they did.

I’ve had multiple issues with other mechanics, but in the few times I’ve had to visit mendo motorz they’ve been fast and vigilant with the work required on my vehicle. They got a vehicle I had sitting stagnant in my driveway working within a week, located and resolved issues that other mechanics had told me I… Read full review
