I initially had Mendo Motorz replace my rear catalytic converter and repair several exhaust leaks. Around two months later, I returned for another exhaust leak, which they repaired.
However, there was pushback when I asked them to replace the aftermarket flex pipe with my OEM pipe, despite being told beforehand…

They are great here. After my Warrenty denied my claim for a truck I bought less then 30 days before, they worked with me to get all the repairs done for the lifter that had failed and cam shaft that needed to be replaced. They gave honest advice on what needed to be done, and never tried to upsale me on anything.…

This's my first time taking my SUV, Rocky to this auto shop, and I've got to say you all definitely earned a 5-star. I applaud the entire crew for taking good care of my vehicle and doing a superb job resolving multiple active oil leaks coming from the main rear seal and the valve cover! At first, they thought the second leak could've been coming from the upper oil pan gasket, but after a test drive, my advisor, Ernest, updated me that they found the leak was coming from the valve cover instead, which saved me money, along with the labor discounts. The diagnostic results are well documented, and they are honest about the repairs that need to be completed so the vehicle is in good health. Prices are fair. The front office was professional and kind! I also like how they back you up with a 1 year warranty(12000 miles) in case something goes wrong. Will definitely use it, if needed but so far, the vehicles performance is rocking. I will very likely bring Rocky here for future services. This shop is truly a gem!

I initially had Mendo Motorz replace my rear catalytic converter and repair several exhaust leaks. Around two months later, I returned for another exhaust leak, which they repaired.
However, there was pushback when I asked them to replace the aftermarket flex pipe with my OEM pipe, despite being told beforehand that they could make the swap if I brought the part. I had concerns about the aftermarket pipe's fitment, which is why I wanted the OEM part installed.
Now, just one week after the latest repair, the vehicle is showing symptoms consistent with another exhaust leak in the same area. Having recurring issues so soon after repairs is disappointing and raises concerns about the quality and longevity of the work. I expected a more lasting solution and better follow-through on the agreed-upon work.
