Michael & Company Auto Body And Auto Repair Shop in San Jose, Ca.

Michael & Company do quality work at a very reasonable price. They are exceptionally honest and don’t nickel and dime like many other places. My wife and I are very happy to have discovered them.

I was told to bring my car at 9;00 and they did not move my car until 9:45. I was not told that I should drop my car off for an oil change and come back and pick it up. This was the day after I called and made an appointment and came at the appropriate time and was told there was no appointment scheduled.

Always good service at fair prices. No waiting. Service folks have time to listen.

I like how they can show you pics of the various parts of the car documenting the issues found.

I received excellent customer service, and the needed repairs were completed as promised for a reasonable price.

Car breaks no longer squeal. No longer has motor oil issues. Hooray! Price was reasonable

Very welcoming. Great communication throughout the repair process. Fair pricing.

James was very helpful in getting my car fixed as well as communicating every detail throughout the entire process. Price was fairly explained. I would highly recommend this place for your maintenance and auto repairs

Best service center in the Bay Area, nothing comparable !

What brought me to the shop initially was the need to have my steering column rebuilt after an attempted theft. Parts were scarce, so it took awhile to get it back, but that's an issue all shops were dealing with. Since they do body work, I asked them to also repair my front bumper, which had suffered damage from… Read full review

They were fast and friendly

Oil change for an older Honda. Very pleased with the work.

I've been going to Michael and Company for many years, even before the founding owner Mike Lamantia started the current company. Over the years they have maintained several of my cars and my GMC pickup. In addition to general auto repair and maintenance, I had their body shop repaint a classic BMW 6-Series. The… Read full review

GREAT service! Michael & Company is the best garage I have ever used. I have been going there now for many years and will continue going back. They do excellent work and are knowledgeable and honest. My Honda, the first car I brought there, drove like a gem well past 280k miles and I decided to replace it; my Toyota… Read full review

Very friendly shop. Met an over 40 years loyal customer there that attested for the good service and value the place offers. I will be one of their regulars. Special mention to Kay Luong!

We are really pleased with the excellent service, thorough inspection and reasonable rates Michael &Company offers. We have had our cars serviced here for 16 years and we highly recommend them for car maintenance and auto body work! They are exceptional.

Always reliable and quality service.

Incredibly friendly courteous and honest service

Bryan was very helpful and nice. They saw me first thing in the morning and got me the oil change I needed and checked out my car for me. Helped me with all my concerns since I drive a lot.

I am on an 8k+ road trip in my Promaster campervan. My dear friend suggested Michael and Co. for my scheduled oil, filter and tire rotation. Dropped her off at 8; hopped on tothe Cal-Train to SF and picked her up at 4. Perfect experience.

The communication was very transparent. Real time updates, phone calls and text messages. Office staff was super friendly and helpful the moment I stepped foot on their property. As much as I hope I never have car troubles again, no doubt I will be bringing it to Michael & Company if an issue does arise. Thank you everyone who helped me out!

First time here, loved the service, punctuality and cost. Definitely coming back for the next service or needs I have for my car. Totally recommend!

My daughter recently moved out to San Jose area and began experiencing car issues. Car was stalling and check engine light kept coming on and off. She originally took the vehicle to the dealership who advised it needed a new engine because they car had no oil and engine was damaged. After getting some… Read full review

Recently purchased a restomod (restored and modified) 1930 Chevrolet Universal Club Sedan. It has a 1984 engine under the hood - and because of this none of my usual mechanics were willing to touch it. Michael & Company was willing to give it a go, and were able to identify and remedy all of my unique car's urgent… Read full review

They took care of my CRV for 15 years (before it was stolen with 260k miles), now with my 2015 Pilot. Won't take it anywhere else.

I’ve had my cars serviced at Michael & Co. for 35 years. I trust them completely and rely on them to do excellent work. I recommend them enthusiastically and without any reservation.

I like taking my car to the same place for records sake. Whether it really matters or not is not important. I feel comfortable with Michael & Company. I have been going to them for several years and they are always spot on and get my car back to me the same day.
