Very patient and thorough technician. He did a great job.
Jason and Travis are true professionals. They moved the water line for my refrigerator, reworked the kitchen sink pipes and reinstalled new lines for my bathroom tub/shower. Seeing as this house was built in 1954, this was no easy feat. They were in and out in approximately 5 hours with all complete. The only mishap…
Matthew showed up on time and was very professional. He took th time to answer all our questions and quickly diagnosed ans solved the problem. His work was very neat. He is a credit to the company.
Yavon was great. He spoke to us about what we needed and went to work. He updated parts for our toilets and was out of there in no time. Thank you!
Jason is a top shelf technician/tradesman, professional in every way. Jason replaced our shower faucet and resolved a cold water intake line blockage. He also replaced the main water shutoff valve on the first floor. Plumbing costs are hard to swallow but that is not the technician’s fault. I would recommend Michael and Son.
Editing my review to add (8/27/2026): our electrician Blake is top notch. He caught issues with outlets and potential moisture that I had no idea was happening. He replaced our outdoor outlets, which were no longer to code, quickly and effectively. Also just a genuinely nice person and enjoyable to chat with. Thank…
Started having major water pressures in my kitchen sink late in the day Wednesday and was able to get someone out first thing on Thursday. Mike Glavin helped me out with the faucet and identified the means to mitigate further plumbing issues with the town water supply that could result in additional repairs at my…
The technician showed up looking just like the commercial! He came up with a great field modification while replacing my outside faucet! I'm sure there's always someone that will do it cheaper but this company shows up and does it write the first time and treats you with respect and dignity. If this guy has not…
I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Jason and Michael & Son. Outstanding communication, timely arrival, highly efficient, and very willing to work around the schedules of some other trades during a kitchen renovation in an old house. Flawless. Highly recommend and will call again in the future without hesitation.
People like Peter are why we continue to call on Michael and Sons. Peter was great to work with, honest and thorough. Excellent work! We always come back to Michael and Son because of the people! What a great experience!
June 20, 2026 ★★★★★ We’ve been customers of Michael & Son for nearly 20 years, both in Chapel Hill and at our Northern Virginia condo, and they continue to earn our trust. Most recently, they corrected a faulty bathtub faucet that had been installed during a lengthy bathroom remodeling project involving multiple…
I woke up to the sound of running water in my tub and discovered that a broken mechanism made it impossible to shut the water off. I had to contact someone quickly because I did not know where are the new shut off was located. The water ran for 45 minutes before I discovered the shut off. Now we would have no water…
I called Michael and Sons and they came over within three hours. Our technician was a smart young man named Paris Rone. He was faced with an unusual plumbing request for an outdoor spigot on our open back porch. He was great to work with and understood a creative solution to my problem. I requested he cut into the…
Had a shower that wouldn’t stop trickling water. Alex was able to come out same day and helped get the part we needed replaced. It even helped our shower heat up faster and hotter. Will absolutely have him back for more work.
Excellent work like we’ve come to expect from Michael and Son. Great job Matt!
Friendly service, they know what to do , and they did a good job, I can’t complain about the service. Job done in less than 40 minutes. It was overpriced, job could be priced under $200.00. I paid taxes included $295.00 Just check prices in the market before you call them. The sink top faucet installation was…
Brayan went completely above and beyond during this repair appointment. He came in to help with our disposal (which was fixed quickly) and ultimately ended up fixing a long-broken shower and helping with long term plans to protect our water system and fixtures. He even fixed a lose doorknob he noticed!!
Amazing! Not only was it a Sunday, but Frank came out faster than anticipated and took a job that looked to be near impossible, and got the job done effectively and efficiently... And was super friendly! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Frank!
Gavin went above and beyond when responding to repair needed at our home ahead of the winter storm. He fixed the issue at hand and also identified other weak points in our water system that were vulnerable and needed to be addressed to avoid potential disaster if the storm turned out as bad as anticipated.
Fast, friendly, and professional!
The Michael and Sons' technician, Jason Lind, did an excellent job with a faucet installation, minor drain repair and cleaning, and a plumbing inspection. He explained all he did and what he saw on the inspection very clearly. He was very personable and respectful.
Highest praise for Andrew Hyatt, who did excellent work identifying, diagnosing, and efficiently resolving all plumbing issues in my home's kitchen and bathroom. Moreover, he was kind, professional, and communicated superbly throughout on what were multiple plumbing jobs over multiple days. Thank you Andrew!

I set up an appointment to have a new toilet and shower fixtures installed. When my equipment arrived earlier than expected I called to reschedule for an earlier appointment. Michael & Son sent Brayan out the next day. Brayan called to confirm time and tasks, then promptly arrived for the job. Brayan is an excellent…

Angel was very professional, timely and informative. He did his own research and tested our water pressure, then fixed a problem that would have caused damage later on.
It was easy to book, the technician showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. New faucet was installed quickly and works great.
Update: changing my review because they have spent time and effort to address my concerns. The tech who did the work ultimately got a thumbs up from the inspectors and they indicated that despite the back and forth, Michael and Sons did a great job and made sure the job was complete and to my satisfaction. I really…
Technician was friendly and very good. Prices are outrageous. To replace 2 cartridges, seats & springs was roughly $480. I know the cartridges are $15 each and the seats & springs less than $5, retail. My original appointment was booked online, for which I received a confirmation email. One hour after the scheduled…
The service technician, Fabian, was very competent and professional and did a fantastic job.
Ryan from Michael and Son Services was a huge help to my family and I! We were dealing with a sediment issue due to not having a filtration system while on a private well. Mike is professional and friendly
Nothing but great things to say. Called at around 10am. Showed up at 10:40am, and done by 11:15am. Pretty darn impressive if you ask me. Work was done properly from what I see. Will certainly change review if that’s the case but all looks great. A little more expensive than expected but not unreasonable. Especially…
Petey was friendly and professional. He got the job done without any issues. Went to get two faucets to give me a choice and installed it efficiently. I now have a working tub. Very professional and friendly
Mike was fantastic! I will definitely utilize Michael & Sons services again when I need them
I needed someone to install the faucet on my new vanity and reconnect the plumbing. Michael & Son gave me a 2.5 hour window for arrival and Juan showed up at the beginning of the window of time - that never happens at least for me! He discovered that my painters had damaged the pipe and promptly repaired it. He was…
Very courteous and great service.
Our service tech, Juan, did a great job quickly diagnosing and fixing the concerns. We were given choices to fit our needs and kept updated throughout the process. He was professional and cleaned up well after he was done. We would definitely recommend this business.
Yovan did an excellent job explaining the issue with my exterior faucet and why my other exterior faucet was working properly. He replaced the broken pipe on the troublesome exterior faucet and replaced the Roman tub faucet in the master bath. Yovan was very conscientious, efficient and professional.
Jenaro Ocampo was my technician. We had Michael and Sons come out to install a Touch Faucet. We received a quote for install and re-configure PVC plumbing under the kitchen sink. The quote was astronomical! $794.00! I do not care what their costs are because I know PVC isn’t that expensive! The time it would take to do this is maybe one hour- if…
My plumber David did an excellent job. He even cleaned up after he was finished
The technician is ordering the part for installation next week.
Replace outside facit..good job thought the charge was high for what was done. Just my opinion.
All representatives showed up when they said they would, were communicative, transparent, knowledgeable, and very respectful. It's obvious they care about the customer service aspect.
